| It may have been the question of the Senate campaign, posed by Ch. 7 anchor Kim Khazei as she sat in the palatial $1.7 million Cambridge mansion of Granny Warren, the fake Indian. Khazei: “I asked Warren if she had anything in the house that reflects her Native American heritage.” On the videotape, you can see Granny’s smile freeze on her face. After all, Kim Khazei’s cousin is Alan Khazei — muscled out of the Democratic primary to clear the field for the carpetbagging fake Indian. Was this question payback from Clan Khazei?

I recently talked to a woman here in MA. She had been talking to other women who were warren supporters (she was not). When asked what part of warren's platform they found MOST appealing, they told her the ONLY reason they were voting for her was because she was a woman (dem). They had zero knowledge of her positions. All these women were college educated.

Warren's Victorian "manse," which is a short walk from Harvard Yard, has been taboo throughout this campaign. Her interviews for personal puff pieces are typically away from the home; the squaw and her husband are invariably photographed in some nearby park or out walking the dog in some undisclosed location, never at the impressive teepee.
The Linnaean Street address in itself explodes the myth that Lieawatha is some kind of middle-class heroine; it is a stark contrast to Brown's comparatively modest house over in lowly Wrentham. I have maintained all along that Warren's house has been off-limits to ensure that it does not stir up, to Warren's disadvantage, the kind of class envy to which we know so many Dem voters are partial and Warren has been exploiting for some time now. As Howie points out, Warren couldn't duck the Kim Khazei visit -- the "at home" interview with the candidates in the final days of the campaign has long been a staple of Boston tv news.

Andrew Breitbart has become an iconic and beloved figure on the right, so it’s hard to imagine his eponymous empire could be in danger of losing conservative support just one year after his passing. But if recent events are a harbinger of things to come, that’s at least a possibility. And now the last of them is gone. Margaret Thatcher, Ronald Reagan, and Pope John Paul II—three who won the Cold War and, it isn´t too much to say, saved the West (at least for a while!)—are no longer with us. Their examples remain. They knew what they believed but also knew they had to justify their beliefs, and that one could adjust prudently to circumstances without yielding on principle. They stood firm when in power, and they took risks to get there, challenging the conventional wisdom and the respective establishments of their nations or institutions.

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. Gluten-free diets are all the rage, but they can be dangerous if not done right. What is gluten? It´s the spongy complex of proteins, found naturally in wheat, rye, and barley, that gives elasticity to dough and allows it to rise. When flour is moistened and either kneaded or mixed into dough, gluten molecules form an elastic, microscopic latticework that traps the carbon dioxide produced when yeast ferments, causing dough to inflate like a hot air balloon. Baking hardens the gluten, which helps the finished product keep its shape. Wheat — and gluten — is ubiquitous in the American diet.
