'Dozens' of Colorado Romney

Dozens of voters in Pueblo County, Colorado have claimed electronic voting machines have changed their votes for Mitt Romney to votes for President Barack Obama. The Pueblo County Republican Party has asked the Colorado Secretary of State's office to investigate the matter. A voter told KRDO Newschannel 13 that a checkmark appeared next to Obama's name after she cast her vote for Romney. "I wonder where my vote really counted," she stated. Pueblo County Clerk and Recorder Gilbert Ortiz admitted he was aware of "fewer than ten instances" of votes being switched and conceded such errors have

This is the third state, coincidence, human error? I think not. Time for the RNC to start making some noise about this.

I sure hope the machines that read and tally the paper ballots aren't similarly rigged. Unfortunately it would be a lot easier to pull off and harder to prove.

I guess it's also a coincidence that Gilbert Ortiz is a Democrat.

I guess it's also a coincidence that Colorado's Secretary of State had to threaten Ortiz (as Pueblo County Clerk)with a lawsuit if he attempted to mail ballots to inactive voters.

All just a coincidence.

This is looking more suspicious, but may still be isolated instances. Unless particular machines are mis-calibrated, foul play is hard to prove. Best can do is to remind everyone to double-check the final summary screen before pressing that (usually red) "cast ballot" button. Voters can change their vote, perhaps with help from a poll judge, or the machine can be canceled and the voter allowed to vote on another machine - if the "cast ballot" button has not been pushed. A ballot once "cast", cannot be changed - otherwise electronic ballot stuffing would be too easy. It would be like pulling a paper ballot out of a sealed ballot box.

It would be so easy to just have the machine do a printout that the person could verify after the vote just like a receipt.

These would be then put into a box and checked. You could do a sample at a prescribed time, and then if it were off, you would count the whole thing. Simple.

Yes, cheating is going on. We expected it. The Republican, any Republican, must win by a plus two%, average- in some places, more than +4% just to break even due to the outrageous cheating by the Democrats who have infested the voting bureaucracy. In New Mexico, for example, some ten years ago, the Democrat official in charge, panicked that the early votes and absentee votes were all going heavy Republican and would throw the state to Bush, simply refused to accept them in the count, claiming obscure ballot mis-prints that were never shown to anyone. The election result went Democrat! No investigation, either- why? State Attny Gnl was a Democrat! It was all very well pre-planned and coordinated.

They say that tampering with the machines is almost impossible. In the computer industry we use to say "Difficult we do immediately. Impossible takes a little longer."

FOR FIVE YEARS, President Obama has led a foreign policy based more on how he thinks the world should operate than on reality. It was a world in which “the tide of war is receding” and the United States could, without much risk, radically reduce the size of its armed forces. Invasions, brute force, great-power games and shifting alliances — these were things of the past. Secretary of State John F. Kerry displayed this mindset on ABC’s “This Week” Sunday when he

WASHINGTON—Police arrested hundreds of people who strapped themselves to the White House fence on Sunday to protest the proposed Keystone XL oil pipeline. The protesters were mostly college students who participated in a peaceful march that began at Georgetown University and ended outside the White House. They chanted "climate justice now" and carried signs with slogans such as "don´t tarnish the earth" in an effort to persuade President Barack Obama to reject the pipeline. They say it will worsen global warming. Protesters were passionate but quite orderly. Police were waiting for them with buses and vans to speed the process.
