A Vote for a President to
Lead on Climate Change

Bloomberg News, by Michael R. Bloomberg

The devastation that Hurricane Sandy brought to New York City and much of the Northeast -- in lost lives, lost homes and lost business -- brought the stakes of Tuesday’s presidential election into sharp relief. The floods and fires that swept through our city left a path of destruction that will require years of recovery and rebuilding work. And in the short term, our subway system remains partially shut down, and many city residents and businesses still have no power. In just 14 months, two hurricanes have forced us to evacuate neighborhoods -- something our city government

One of my brothers used to work as a service advisor at an upscale Audi dealership. he said that dealing with Audi owners taught him that you don't have to have any brains to be rich.

Michael Bloomberg is living proof of my brother's hypothesis.

A climate scientist from Colorado said on NPR at 6:10 PM EST last night that Sandy was NOT caused by Climate Change, Global Warming, or Sea Rise! And this scientist believes in all 3 of the latter.

Interesting analysis this am. Sandy was not a vicious storm, just arrived at an unfortunate local of folks who were not really prepared. Sandy was far weaker than the numerous hurricanes of the 30's and 50's that hit the northeast. According to the analysis, the total energy expended by storms has been declining over the years, even as our ability to find and count them has improved. We may indeed need some serious improvements in infrastructure and in local emergency planning to address a return to the earlier climates ... but we don't need a DC czar to plan for how to keep water out of NYC tunnels, to require adequate insurance on at risk structures, to pay compensation to folks in the lowlands who choose not to buy insurance...or even to substitute for the extremely hard working (private) individuals who put in hard and dangerous hours to repair power lines.

It's almost as if the AGW clowns missed the lack of *predicted* temperature change over the last decade, and think weather just evolved to 'issue status' in this century. So far, their 'platform' isn't holding very steady, and the lunacy required to think they can *prevent* future 'Sandy' class weather (of course via more government bureaucracy) is more 'severe' than any storm...

Once and for all, THERE IS NO MAN-MADE GLOBAL WARMING!
It is a demonstrated fraud, as the conspirational emails released from East Anglia University have shown.
The Michael Mann hockey stick is a fraud because it omits the Midieval Warming period.
There has been no measurable global warming since 1998; if anything global cooling.
It is a fraud, a hoax, a plot for one-world governance, thoroughly discounted by thermodynamic laws.
I could go on for 6 pages, but let me just say to Nanny Bloomburg--Shut Up. You are ignorant.

So this shrew wants to harp on about CO2 and do nothing to adust to a permanent reality that NY is seaside and can and will be hit by even stronger hurricanes. His solution is fewer trucks and bicycles to lower CO2 emissions? Come on, man!

It's also being reported that Obama's solution, 15 of the electric Fiskers, caught fire by being immersed in floods in NY. Sounds like a solution to Bloomie.

So, Bloomie plays Pick-a-Prez because sea-level NYC had to do two evacuations in 14 months?

Tell me, Bloomie, what kind of "climate change" will come about at Gracie Mansion when the mullahs detonate a nuclear explosive hidden in a shipping container on the Hudson River? Or near Battery Park, Freedom Tower, and the Statue of Liberty, destroying them all?

Obama might pay purple-lip-service to "climate change" to get votes from the scientifically moronized, but he doesn't even waft a single believable harsh word toward Teheran's bomb-builders.

If we ever find an important use for morons, the good news is that we'll never run out of them!

History will show that never was there a Mayor on the wrong side of so many issues: He trashed the Second Amendment. He trashed democratic process when he arrogated to himself a third term as mayor. He used extralegal means to interfere with people's choice of diet. He believes in man made climate change in the face of the most telling evidence. The list could go on and on.

Bloomberg is another reminder that the knack of amassing a fortune is not a reliable indicator of unusual intelligence or education, and certainly not of wisdom. His opinion begs the question - actually, a number of questions:

1. Is global warming happening?
2. Is it caused by human activity?
3. How serious is it?
4. Can anything be done about it?
5. What are the possible adverse consequences of schemes to combat it?

These questions should merit individual scrutiny. They cannot be lumped together in a Chicken Little "The sky is falling!" frantic stampede to DO SOMETHING. Bloomberg and his ilk are climate alarmists deliberately striving to create and stoke public hysteria to force massive regulations before the basic questions have been considered and debated thoroughly. This is either not very smart or not very honest or both. In Bloomberg's case it could be both. He doesn't seem terribly bright, as this pathetic opinion piece demonstrates. And it wouldn't surprise me greatly if he or his pals or somebody in his circle stood to make big bucks off of any proposed global warming legislation. Mayor Mike knows how to make lots of money without working too hard. He wouldn't pass up a chance to cash in on global warming. Someone ought to investigate this angle, not only in Bloomberg but in every conspicuous global warming alarmist. Do they have a pecuniary interest in their schemes? I don't know. I bet some of them do.

Finally, someone has come up with a way to settle the debate over climate change: Put the people on the wrong side of the argument in cages. A writer for the website Gawker recently penned a self-described “rant” on the pressing need to arrest, charge, and imprison people who “deny” global warming. In fairness, Adam Weinstein doesn’t want mass arrests. U.S. employers added jobs at a solid pace in March in the latest sign that the economy is rebounding from a weak stretch brought on by a harsh winter. The Labor Department says employers added 192,000 jobs, slightly below February´s total of 197,000. Employers also added a combined 37,000 more jobs in February and January than previously estimated. The unemployment rate was unchanged at 6.7 percent. But a half-million Americans started looking for work last month, and most of them found jobs. But in fact the coalition behind the Senate Gang of Eight comprehensive reform bill is fragile and loosely cobbled together. How could Big Labor and the Chamber of Commerce and the tech world and Big Agriculture all unite behind one bill? Very tentatively. It wouldn´t take much to break the coalition apart. And if that happens, the effort to enact comprehensive immigration reform could blow up, not just for the moment, but for some time to come. And there are signs that is exactly what is occurring now. LONDON - Peaches Geldof, the wild-child second daughter of concert organizer Bob Geldof who worked as a model, a television presenter and a fashion writer and filled the pages of British tabloids with her late-night antics, has died at age 25. There was no immediate word on the cause of her death at her home in Wrotham, Kent, southeast England. Her father said in a statement Monday: "Peaches has died. We are beyond pain." "She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us," he said. "Writing 'was' destroys me afresh. What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable? We loved her and will cherish her forever."

The party has traditionally had trouble with older voters, losing the group aged 65 and over by 21 points in 2010 — when Republicans picked up 63 seats — and by 12 points in the 2012 presidential race. A recent Gallup poll showed seniors have become even more Republican over the last two decades; in 2013, 48 percent considered themselves Republican. That spells trouble for Democrats, who are already facing

Wellington -He may be only eight months old. But Prince George made an assured appearance on his debut royal tour this morning. The Democratic National Committee is furious by a conservative website’s ad campaign that depicts Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi clad in a bikini in a provocative pose with her tongue sticking out. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee, called on Republicans to press Breitbart News to remove the artwork — one of several suggestive images on the website promoting the new California site. The image of Pelosi, beneath one of California Gov. Jerry Brown’s face photo-shopped onto a flexing body builder, includes the sub-head: “Because you can’t make this s— up.” “To say the least,

Vance McAllister, R-La. - who ahead of his election last fall ran multiple campaign ads trumpeting his faith and family - is seen kissing and embracing a woman for about 20 seconds at his Monroe, La., district office. The Ouachita Citizen reports the woman is the congressman´s 33-year-old part-time scheduler, who is also married.

Add Bryan Cranston, the star of TV´s recent hit "Breaking Bad" and a new Broadway play about former President Lyndon B. Johnson, to Team Obamacare. In an interview with Yahoo News “global anchor” Katie Couric, the actor called Obamacare the highlight of President Obama´s legacy. “Now’s the time to stake a claim to leave your legacy,” he encouraged Obama. “I personally believe that his health care program is fantastic. Yes, there are problems. Anything worth while is going to go through a growing pains period. But this is his legacy and I think it’s a great one because I don’t
