Women: Sen. Bob Menendez paid us
for sex in the Dominican Republic

Daily Caller, by Matthew Boyle

Original Article

Posted By:Drive, 11/1/2012 8:09:52 AM

Two women from the Dominican Republic told The Daily Caller that Democratic New Jersey Sen. Bob Menendez paid them for sex earlier this year. In interviews, the two women said they met Menendez around Easter at Casa de Campo, an expensive 7,000 acre resort in the Dominican Republic. They claimed Menendez agreed to pay them $500 for sex acts, but in the end they each received only $100. The women spoke through a translator in the company of their attorney, Melanio Figueroa.

The only thing worse than paying for these types of services is.... failing to pay for them.

So Menendez is the one Drudge was referencing with his 'teaser'. Hmmmmm--a Democrat--surely they don't pay for sex. Ask Teddy K or Dodd or Franks.

This first thing I wondered was if he was up for re-election, and of course, he is. I don't like these "surprises" regardless of party affiliation. He may be a rat, but to bring it out now, looks bad for the challenger. I say it will backfire.

New Jersey has enough to worry about right now. This will look petty and desperate.

Don't know what the "problem" is. Such "activity" is considered a resume enhancer by the demonrat party. In fact, I believe being a low-life-womanizing-loser is in the job description and a requirement to be a "senator" in the demonrat party.

After the way the Governor of NJ acted the last two days, in blessing the G_D -like President for doing the job he is hired to do, the whole thing plain stinks. While Christie was kissing Obama's butt, many 1000's of people were stuck, stranded, decimated, you name it. If the two egomaniacs could get off TV and do their jobs,
people might have a chance to get their lives back together sooner. Their burlesque act make me sick to my stomach. I don't muck like the mayor of NYC but at least he had the common sense to tell the President NO, stay away, and take care of your job from D>C>, the way you are supposed to. The way the NJ Governor acted was unbelievable, especially when other states are in desperate straits also. Bipartisanship ship my butt. Obama has none in his DNA. Christie acted like a fool,in my opinion. He should go take lessons from the Governor of Lousiana, who knows how to conduct himself, and be a leader.

According to this web site http://gocaribbean.about.com/od/healthandsafety/a/Caribbeansex_2.htm prostitution is legal in the DR and since Menendez isn't married where's the scandal? The possibility that he ripped off the ladies of the evening might make him look bad, but that's what democrats do, look bad.

Were this a republican senator, his fellow party members would ask him to resign.

But, being a democrat, this is a resume enhancer for Menendez.

This illustrates the different value system of the dems v. GOP.

This guy is a weasel-faced RAT!
On his Wiki entry, there's a whole list of "controversies" he's been involved with.
And I just love this: "A poll released by CBS and the New York Times in 2006 asked participants to name the first thing that came to their minds when hearing Menendez's name: the top answer given was “corruption” or “crooked”."

I do not like this type of politics-bringing out accusations right before the election. I don't know anything about this fellow-or whether their is truth to it or not. It's easy to make up a story & hope it sticks-the Dems have been doing it for years!
As to whether it would affect the election-I can't imagine that it would. Democrats seem to expect this from their leaders, how else would you explain Bill Clinton, Ted Kennedy, Barney Frank, etc.

I'm with you #28. Where's the scandal. This activity only started a couple of weeks ago..., er millenia ago. And, this isn't the first time claims have been made that were not the original agreement in this industry.

Also, a guy who shoots and kills his wife and three others in a hair salon and injures several more is an "alleged" assailant. A guy with a couple tons of dope in a truck is an "alleged" trafficer. Yet this guy positively stiffed these girls for $400 bucks. Strange someone joker just now found them. I wonder if he coughed up his $400 or did he stiff them also.

A lawyer who specializes in sex abuse cases says this week´s lawsuit against director Bryan Singer is but one of several Hollywood abuse cases that will come to light in the coming weeks. Today we learned of a suit against Bryan Singer, the director of the upcoming superhero sequel X-Men: Days of Future Past and a big Democratic donor, charging he drugged and sexually abused a 15-year-old boy back in 1999. Singer´s legal team denies the charges. Lawyer Jeff Herman, who is representing the plaintiff, cautions Wednesday´s suit isn´t an isolated incident. Herman works as a sexual abuse attorney who previously sued

One rainy morning this month, the man who thought he would be president boarded a train near his beach house in San Diego. He stepped off in Burbank, Calif., and caught a ride to a sound stage, where his on-again, off-again political consigliere, Mike Murphy, was waiting to shoot a commercial on a set that bore more than a passing resemblance to the Oval Office. Looking and sounding like a president out of central casting, he nailed his lines. The crew called him “one-take Romney,” and before he departed, they swarmed, extending arms around his shoulders and angling their iPhones for

ROME - Pope Francis washed the feet of 12 disabled and elderly people Thursday - women and non-Catholics among them - in a pre-Easter ritual designed to show his willingness to serve others like a "slave." Francis´ decision in 2013 to perform the Holy Thursday ritual on women and Muslim inmates at a juvenile detention center helped define his rule-breaking papacy just two weeks after his election. It riled traditionalist Catholics, who pointed to the Vatican´s own regulations that the ritual be performed only on men since Jesus´ 12 apostles were men.

What are the odds? I mean, Vladimir Putin does a call-in show and one guy who happens to get through—to ask a question in English—is Ed Snowden? That is one amazing coincidence—almost as amazing as those soldiers who mysteriously materialized in Crimea turning out to be Russian. In a few moments, Snowden became part of a Soviet-style propaganda machine, even though he clearly views himself as a public-spirited crusader. After Snowden leaked all those NSA documents to the Guardian and the Washington Post, which shared a Pulitzer Prize this week, he fled to Hong Kong and then to Moscow, which was more than happy

In Detroit´s unfolding saga, the only innocent victims are city residents. So if there is any case for a Motown bailout, it is to make the city more livable for them. However, that seems to be the main goal of neither the Democratic White House nor the state´s Republican governor -- both of whom have come up with nifty new schemes to shovel taxpayer largesse to city retirees. Just two weeks ago, Emergency Manager Kevyn Orr had been threatening to put a buzzsaw to the city´s $3.5 billion unfunded pension liabilities to lop off savings to “invest” in city services. Detroit is facing

Most voters think the White House is trying to cover-up what happened in Benghazi and want Congress to continue to investigate the administration’s handling of the attack on the U.S. consulate there that killed four Americans. That’s according to a Fox News poll released Thursday. Sixty percent of voters want lawmakers to keep investigating what happened in Benghazi. That’s down from 65 percent who felt that way in November, and a high of 73 percent in early June 2013.

President Obama today sought to make light of a stinging public rebuke from House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, who took the president to task for disparaging GOP lawmakers while seeking to make a deal on immigration reform. Obama, the No. 2 House leader said yesterday after a phone conversation with the president, should “stop his partisan messaging and begin to seriously work with Congress.” Hours before the president called Cantor, the White House had issued a statement in which Obama ripped House Republicans for favoring “extreme measures” and “seemingly preferring the status quo of a broken immigration system over meaningful reform.” “You’re always

As everyone knows, Brandeis publicly announced that they would award Ayaan Hirsi Ali an honorary doctorate--and then, under siege by nearly 30% of their professors, and by thousands of their own students, they publicly disinvited Hirsi Ali. This campaign was orchestrated by the Muslim Student Association and by the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), an organization which is the American face of Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood. Someone sent author Naomi Wolf a copy of my latest article about this scandal: “Brandeis Feminists Fail the Historical Moment.” It was my response to Brandeis’s shameful dis-invitation of Ayaan Hirsi Ali. F. Reid Buckley, a novelist, columnist, founder of a school of public speaking and, in family lore, the most literary of Aloise and William F. Buckley Sr.’s 10 children, including former Senator James L. Buckley and the conservative commentator William F. Buckley Jr., died on Monday in hospice care in Columbia, S.C. He was 83. The cause was cancer, his son William Huntting Buckley said. Mr. Buckley had lived in Camden, S.C., since the early 1970s. He was often mistaken for his brother William, the founder of the conservative magazine National Review. The brothers not only looked alike. They also shared political

Secretary of State John Kerry evidently runs a tight ship, given the paucity of leaks that emerge from his office. So we know he is organized and disciplined. He is also an energetic risk-taker, jumping into high-wire negotiations with Iran, and forcing the Israelis and Palestinians to the negotiating table -- enterprises that could likely end in failure and ruin his reputation. This is a man with character. By contrast, his predecessor at State, Hillary Clinton, appeared to take few risks and has been accused of using the position of secretary of state merely to burnish her resume in preparation

President Obama addressed the White House press corps today, announcing that with the final numbers in, Obamacare´s exchanges have attracted eight million sign-ups -- 35 percent of whom are "under the age of 35," he said. Several elements of his comments were misleading: (1) At first blush, the 35 percent stat is both significant and impressive. As recently as last month, the share of "young invincibles" signing up for plans was struggling in the 25 percent range, far short of the actuarial target of nearly 40 percent. A leap into the mid-30´s, while still shy of the goal, would constitute a major step, and would bode well for the risk pools'

When it comes to tracking the cost of Obama family vacations, there are two primary challenges. First, the Obamas are prolific jet-setters, so there are many details to track. Second, the Obama administration, clearly embarrassed by these lavish and frequent family vacations, stonewalls the release of records at every turn. But we have been relentless in pursuit of this information. Our attorneys file the lawsuits and make our case, and our investigators pour through pages of records and crunch the numbers. And the information we’ve uncovered – information that would otherwise remain under lock and key – shows that the

To "honor the dignity and work of immigrants," Democratic House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi helps Bishop Marc Andrus wash the feet of two children Thursday at Saint John the Evangelist Episcopal Church in San Francisco. Pelosi also used the occasion to talk about passing HR15 - bipartisan immigration legislation that her office says would "reduce the deficit by nearly $1 trillion, secure our borders, unite our families, protect our workers and provide an earned pathway to citizenship." Imagine a vendor on the National Mall, selling burgers and dogs, who hasn’t paid his rent in 20 years. He refuses to recognize his landlord, the National Park Service, as a legitimate authority. Every court has ruled against him, and fines have piled up. What’s more, the effluents from his food cart are having a detrimental effect on the spring grass in the capital. First, the good news: We are close enough to the end of the Obama presidency for his crowd to talk about a presidential library. Now, the bad news: Obama´s retirement is still 1,008 days distant. Plenty of time though to round up the dough to build it somewhere. Figure they need Solyndra-style money, at least $500 million. The last two presidents – Bill Clinton and George W. Bush -- built their legacy edifices totally with private money. [Snip] However, Obama supporters have a different take. They think taxpayers should put up $100 million in public money for Obama´s library.

Remember when Lois Lerner, in answering a planted question at an American Bar Association conference, admitted the IRS had targeted conservative groups but tried to pass it off as the work of rogue agents — “our line people in Cincinnati”? Today we know there were indeed federal agents involved. But they weren’t rogue, and they weren’t confined to IRS workers in Cincinnati. Thanks to a Freedom of Information request by Judicial Watch, we now have an e-mail Lerner sent to colleagues noting the Department of Justice was looking into criminal prosecutions of these tax-exempt groups. We know something else, too. These investigations
