Sixty Percent of US Muslims
Reject Freedom of Expression

AmericanThinker.com, by Andrew G. Bostom

Original Article

Posted By:javaboy, 11/1/2012 7:35:16 AM

After violent Muslim reactions to the amateurish "Innocence of Muslims" video, which simply depicted a few of the less salutary aspects of Muhammad's biography, international and domestic Islamic agendas have openly converged with vehement calls for universal application of Islamic blasphemy law. This demand to abrogate Western freedom of expression was reiterated in a parade of speeches by Muslim leaders at the UN General Assembly. The US Muslim community echoed such admonitions, for example during a large demonstration in Dearborn, Michigan, and in a press release by the Islamic Circle of North America.

Just wondering. If ALL the muslims throughout the world were rioting over that idiotic video, what were our domestic muslims doing? Heard any reports? Sort of odd that our "press" didn't even interview any of our domestic muslims.

Thanks # 1, a clear thinker.

Exactly, no riots here.

On the other hand, I wonder if the Muzzies had a chance of enacting Sharia law if they would do it?

Our next war may be here at home.

The push for Sharia Law in America is not new, and I am not above believing that a continuation of the Obama regime might allow the push to become a reality.

There is no MiddleEastern country where Americans can demand that laws be changed to accommodate the American way of life.
.... Why, then, do our lawmakers consider it acceptable to BOW down to Islamics and their demands?

It is NOT acceptable!

No, 100% of muslims reject freedom of expression.

The 40% who said otherwise are either not practicing muslims or they are using their principle of taqiyya to lie to the unbelievers and merely say what is expedient.

Islam is a death cult that seeks to dominate all aspects of life -- and impose itself upon the whole planet by force.

The Muslims have a good excuse: they are Muslims. Of course they do not believe in freedom of speech, liberty of conscience, separation of church and state, or any of our other cherished modern Western values. How could they? They are Muslims. Islam is against all that. Muslims trying to silence critics of Islam and the Prophet are just Muslims being Muslims. What else should we expect from them? I say good luck to them. Their mission is to Islamize the whole world. Our mission, those of us who would rather not be Islamized, is to prevent this. It is an old old story. Nothing new there.

If there is anything new and sinister it is the hostility of many on the Left to clear and distinct, unambiguous freedom of speech. I am more concerned about the threat to freedom from Leftists than from Muslims. And I am worried because Leftists -some of them- seem not even to comprehend the idea of free speech any more. They seem to have no category for political disagreement, no room for the possibility that there could be valid, though irritating, disagreements with their beliefs. And they seem instinctively to want to silence critics rather than engage with them in rational argument.

We really need to see what has happened with the Muslims in Europe. Because of colonialism, the European countries considered colonies as a part of their own country. The peoples inhabiting those areas were citizens of that country and could travel freely to any part of that country in the world!! Many chose to emigrate to the home land. Many were Muslims without any utile skillsets to get jobs. The Muslims decided to create their own enclaves within the mother country. Now Europe has ghettos filled with disaffected Muslims who fall back on the Koran.
Hence, England, France, Netherlands, Germany have major problems with Muslim citizens within their borders, who have their OWN culture, laws and ideas hateful to the West.

....and they breed like rabbits.

The US needs to take heed of Europe's problems.

A meticulous new analysis examines the benefits of government-administered socialism among a representative cross section of individuals. It is an insightful departure from the usual studies of socialism that analyze only collective benefits to society using statistics about such things as income quartiles and poverty levels. The new study is 27 pages and can be accessed as a PDF file via this link. As its author, I´ll summarize the results here. Julia, the president´s comic book heroine, is used as the baseline.

The quotation has been echoing around the Internet, so here are more ringing defenses of the importance of the right to bear arms to the cause of liberty. We are being played; it´s time we learned the game. Conservatives have their Constitution. Progressives have their Narrative. The current battle for America is between these two concepts, and each side uses different rules to fight it. One set of rules is consistent with an unchanging objective: limited government and individual freedoms. The other side´s rules are as fickle as their goals, which are never fully disclosed beyond the equivocal references to fairness and hyphenated forms of justice.

The International Telecommunications Union (ITU), an imprint of the UN, is holding its World Conference on International Telecommunications (WCIT) from December 3-14, 2012. The stated purpose of the WCIT is to update the UN´s "global treaty" on telecommunications to deal more directly and comprehensively with the internet. Knowing who controls the UN, it is not hard to see that a primary aim of the updated "treaty" will be to give credence to the regulation and monitoring of online activity in ways that are desirable to the (authoritarian) majority of member states.

The United States will not reverse its descent into the abyss of financial and societal bankruptcy until the current political and governing establishment is replaced. That will not happen until the American people, who have been deliberately ill-educated and deceived, experience first-hand the early stages of the turmoil and suffering extant in Europe and elsewhere. While professing to care for the interests of the average person, the underlying motivation for the vast majority of the governing class or Establishment is first and foremost self-aggrandizement and the acquisition of wealth.

Were the average Republican asked for a succinct statement of his views on taxation, he or she might respond thus: “U.S. tax rates are too high for the world we must compete in. The tax burden — federal, state, local, together — is too heavy. We need to cut tax rates to free up our private and productive sector and pull this economy out of the ditch.” This core conviction holds the party together. Yet today the leadership is about to abandon this conviction to sign on to higher tax rates or revenues, while the economy is nearing stall speed.

Republicans in Congress are under tremendous pressure to cave in to President Obama’s demand for tax hikes by December 31. These tax hikes are projected to generate $823 billion in additional revenues, and save another $127 billion in interest payments, for a cumulative reduction of $950 billion in the national debt over 10 years, according to the left-wing Center for Budget and Policy Priorities. Ten-year budget projections are notoriously unreliable, but the White House estimates budgets for five years. Since he first became a presidential candidate, President Obama must have spent millions of dollars in legal expenses to combat dozens of so-called "birther" challenges seeking the original documents pertaining to his birth. As president, he famously issued an electronic document on the White House website in 2011; the document purported to be his long-form birth certificate, though it is apparently a forgery. In addition, he has taken great pains to hide the paper trail of passport records, college transcripts, and other data -- all of which a prospective employer might require of a job applicant.

Few Americans can not answer this question: who is the worst domestic mass murderer in United States’ history? Due to the United States media, most are aware that Timothy McVeigh slaughtered 168 people with a bomb in 1995. Here is something I don’t understand: liberals are often revealed as vile, vulgar hatemongers–not all of them, of course, but far too many–yet they never seem to pay a penalty at the polls. Why is that? Margaret Thatcher’s death has been the latest occasion for the Left to show its true stripes. All across the U.K., there have been demonstrations–vulgar at best, and violent at worst. In Bristol, lefties celebrating a Thatcher “death street party” started fires, destroyed property and battled police: This evening in Trafalgar Square, liberals have turned out for a long-planned celebration of Thatcher’s death:

Is media bias to blame for lack of Gosnell coverage? Or something far more banal? The trial of Philadelphia doctor Kermit Gosnell would seem to have all the elements of a spectacular news story: shocking allegations, horrifying visuals, sympathetic victims. Yet until late last week, much of the national media was silent as testimony about Gosnell’s alleged “house of horrors” abortion clinic rolled out. Much of the media attention outside Philadelphia, in fact, centered on how little media attention the story was receiving outside Philadelphia.
