Obama's Loss: Inevitable for Years
American Thinker, by C. Edmund Wright

Original Article

Posted By:sagman, 11/1/2012 4:16:32 AM

Do not be seduced by the disproportionate emphasis on recent events with regard to Barack Obama's pending landslide loss. I submit that a more sober analysis indicates that November 2012 has been inevitable for at least four years. In some ways, it's been inevitable for even longer than that. You see, Barack Obama and his statist agenda have failed because they could not possibly succeed. In a way, electing Obama was liberal America's dash off a cliff -- and the 2012 election is merely the day they officially make contact with the ground.

Comments:
This'll make your day. By the way, Wright has published a fabulous book of humor about liberals. Title: ''You Might Be a Liberal.'' Highly recommend.

...a trip down memory lane to remind us why we have waited four long years to get here. Come next Wednesday we will be counting the days til late January when a true leader takes the helm...

...they won't go quietly. With their failure to steal the election, they will once again project their own actions upon the right. The lawyers will be working overtime. They will be attacking relentlessly with much of the MSM doing their bidding...

...but when they begin to turn on their own to explain the loss, it will be a sight to behold...

Excellent article, and I agree with all of of the above posters. However, I do not believe that an 0bama defeat is inevitable, not by a long shot. I'll believe it when I see "President Romney" in the headlines on Wednesday, November 7, 2012, and when I see that a Romney victory will not be contested anywhere. We still have 6 days to go, and with 0bama in the WH, anything can happen between now and then.

Succinct, excellent. Not only should be a Must Read, should be a Must Memorize:

From the article: "Everything Obama and his cohorts in the media, academia, union halls, Congress, and the crony capitalist world believe in is fraudulent. There was never going to be any economic recovery on their watch because they haven't the foggiest how an economy works. There was never going to be any newfound love of America overseas because they have no clue what it is about America that has made us the shining city on a hill in the first place. There was never going to be any job-creation because no one in Obama's bubble has ever created one. There was never going to be any racial reconciliation because Obama was a post-racial fabrication of perverted white guilt and black rage. There was never going to be a pristine future powered by windmills and solar panels because neither the business nor the scientific model for such technologies shows any possibility of success. There was no way Obama would do a good job, because he's never had a real job."

Without crediting Rush, Wright repeats, "I hope he fails." We who heard Rush say it knew he was saying, "I hope America survives".

Sarah Palin waited a reasonable amount of time before asking, "How's that hopey-changey thing workin' out for ya?" A spot on question coming from the person Charlie Gibson sniffed at in curled-lip condescension only an Ivy League liberal would find courteous. I can hardly wait for Charlie's excuse-laden Obama post mortem.

West pushes Iran Nuclear Deal

As nuclear talks between Iran and major world players enters its third day what has emerged is that Iran will get major relief from sanctions in exchange for the dubiously enforceable promise of restricting its uranium enrichment to levels for peaceful energy use only. And as US Secretary of State John Kerry jets around Europe posing as the deal maker, we find out that the Obama Administration had already taken it upon themselves in June to stop imposing sanctions on new entities created to do business in place of a sanctioned one.

On Saturday morning, Fox News interviewed Ohio Congressman Jim Jordan about an apparent overture by President Barack Obama intended to bring about an end to the horrible, awful, end-of-the-world-as-we-know-it 17 percent government shutdown. The idea, in essence: pass a bill to fund the entire government, and then we can talk about making needed changes to Obamacare. Pretty funny. For practical purposes — at least in terms of having a functioning exchange, the hyped linchpin of the entire enterprise — there is no Obamacare right now. Sure, there’s a website, but only a tiny percentage of those wishing to use it have

As the hypothesis of man-caused global warming is trundled off to the Morgue for Scientific Hoaxes, let´s anticipate the autopsy´s preliminary findings: the subject expired after choking on its own premises. In denial, warmists continue to hawk recently discredited tenets: mankind´s (read: America´s) profligate use of fossil fuels pumps enormous quantities of CO2 into the atmosphere; naturally, Earth´s temperature rises, exacerbating the so-called "greenhouse effect"; in time, our planet becomes a most inhospitable place. "Settled science." Until it wasn´t. These postulates were meant to frighten the naive and misinformed into supporting a radical correction that would (surprise!) hit the U.S. hardest.

Vice President Joseph R. Biden will discuss arms control Saturday with Russia’s top envoy, a meeting that could shed light on President Obama’s unguarded comment last year that he would have more “flexibility” to negotiate with the Russians after his re-election. Mr. Biden will hold a one-on-one session with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Munich during a four-day European trip with his wife, Jill, that begins Friday. Administration officials confirmed Thursday that the vice president’s agenda with Mr. Lavrov includes an exploration of ways to reduce both nations’ nuclear weapons stockpiles.

The Senate overwhelmingly approved Sen. John F. Kerry (D-Mass.) as the next secretary of state Tuesday afternoon, with three Republican “no” votes. The vote was 94 to 3, clearing the way for Kerry to formally take over from Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton on Friday. He assumes the post amid a civil war in Syria that has killed an estimated 60,000 people, stalled nuclear negotiations with Iran and the spread of militancy across North Africa.

On September 21, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton spoke to reporters before a meeting with the Pakistani foreign minister. She addressed the September 11 assault on U.S. facilities in Benghazi, Libya. “What happened was a terrorist attack, and we will not rest until we have tracked down and brought to justice the terrorists who murdered four Americans.” Clinton’s statement was notable. It was the strongest and most direct assessment of the attacks from any Obama administration official in the first 10 days after the deaths.

The horrific recent mass murder of 26 children and adults at Sandy Hook Elementary School predictably has reignited the gun-control debate in this country. (snip) The task force led by Vice President Joe Biden has met mostly with groups either in favor of or opposed to greater restrictions on guns and ammunition. Facing strong political opposition in Congress from both parties, Vice President Biden and President Barack Obama each have suggested publicly that the president will act by executive order to restrict guns.

Columbus, Ohio — The realities of the electoral map meant that the Romney campaign really had no choice but to bet big on Ohio, and that bet was a loser. In addition to some critical on-the-ground specifics — Ohio is not hurting as badly as the rest of the country — there were three main reasons for that. 1. Ohio likes crony capitalism. The automotive bailout is popular in Ohio, and not just among self-interested workers and investors in that industry. Putting General Motors on federal life support is economically daft and morally dubious, but it gave the Obama administration a powerful tool for convincing

"Two Jews, three opinions" goes the famous joke. And every day, more of those opinions turn pro-Romney, as American Jews increasingly reject the collapsing presidency of Barack Hussein Obama. Romney's surging poll numbers in the crucial state of Florida reflect his growing success with Bubbie Molly and her unemployed grandson Adam, who both thought their right hand would wither if it ever pulled the lever for a Republican. The signs and portents are everywhere, beginning with the special election of a Republican in Anthony Weiner's heavily Jewish, New York congressional district one year ago.
