Drudge Report: 'Sex
Scandal To Hit Campaign'

Business Insider, by Grace Wyler

Original Article

Posted By:The Slammer, 10/31/2012 7:51:20 PM

The Drudge Report, the heavily-trafficked blog run by conservative Matt Drudge, is up with a new headline hyping a "sex scandal to hit campaign..." According to Drudge, the story is "developing." Drudge, a close personal friend of Mitt Romney's campaign manager Matt Rhoades, has hyped up several exclusive news stories during the 2012 campaign cycle, most of which have fallen flat. So our hopes aren't too high for his latest report.

Comments:
My apologies to the Lucianne.com staff is this isn't a legitimate news source.

I hate it when he does this. Just give us a link.

I've been watching this on Drudge and note that it doesn't even say whose campaign. It might not be the presidential campaign even.

So much dirt in politics. I hope it is nothing for either side. Tuesday can't get here soon enough.

All in all, don't particularly care... would rather see more legit info get reported on the Libyan disaster.

Reply 5 - Posted by: Italiano, 10/31/2012 8:02:05 PM     (No. 8978055)

The fact that Barack and Michelle don't have any probably doesn't count.

Hey Drudge is just trying to have a little fun...

Barrack & Reggie Love is my prediction.

Obama's late 70's pictures as a Disco Queen/King in NYC have surfaced.
Larry Sinclair, Donald Young et al - too many to be a coincidence. Three murdered Gay Black Men in Obama's Church just before he became POTUS and no convictions?
Why didn't Michelle go to Church with Obama and the girls on Sunday?
Jeremiah Wright's Down Low club is well known in the black community in Chicago according to Kevin Dujan on Hillbuzz- and Michelle and Barack are his star frauds-are his chickens coming home to roost???
BTW - if it is NOT about Obama - Why Not???

Reply 9 - Posted by: dr fate, 10/31/2012 8:08:51 PM     (No. 8978076)

All of those extra "hits" for Drudge are sexy.

Reply 10 - Posted by: jorgecito, 10/31/2012 8:09:47 PM     (No. 8978080)

Agree with #4 ... even if Drudge's alleged scandal turns out to be the truth coming out about Obama and the "down low."

The Benghazi debate is far more important right now. Of course we should not drop the topic of Obama's fabricated past -- it will be imperative for history to establish exactly who the impostor, Obama, really was.

But for now, the immediate (and continuing) national security crisis that is Benghazi deserves our strongest focus.

Reply 11 - Posted by: EQKimball, 10/31/2012 8:10:18 PM     (No. 8978081)

The press would turn any sex scandal involving Obama into a "shame on Romney for coming up with this last minute hit."

Reply 12 - Posted by: lakerman1, 10/31/2012 8:10:29 PM     (No. 8978082)

Could the story be about missie barack? I am not shocked.

Well, Drudge has a photo of Obama sandwiched between this text and Gallup's announcement that they'll begin polling tomorrow, so is the photo a clue that it's Obama-related? My guess is that the secret service detail has been procuring for someone...but what and who?

Reply 16 - Posted by: KingBubo, 10/31/2012 8:28:41 PM     (No. 8978126)

I'm not sure. If it was a republican, he might put it neat the bottom. Maybe it is involving Rosanne Barr.

Reply 17 - Posted by: ScarletPimpernel, 10/31/2012 8:29:35 PM     (No. 8978129)

#16 just took the words right out of my mouth. The headline is just above a photo of 0bama. We'll see.

Reply 21 - Posted by: The Slammer, 10/31/2012 8:38:33 PM     (No. 8978154)

There's a line between the teaser and the photo. I wouldn't read too much into the photo.

#16 likely has it right. Drudge is very adept at hiding hints and clues.

Reply 24 - Posted by: Blizzard, 10/31/2012 8:45:38 PM     (No. 8978179)

If you've ever read Hillbuzz.org, you'll know that Drudge puts hints around pics, especially of Bathhouse Barry. Someone's probably dropping the hammer on all of his "golfing outings" in which there's zero golfing going on.

Reply 25 - Posted by: Garage Logician, 10/31/2012 8:52:04 PM     (No. 8978193)

Bill Clinton sex scandal? Not if it involves live women. That's old news. Yawn.

But if we're talking about Obama and men and/or boys, well, that should have been outed a month ago. The timing on that will have been dismissed as opportunistic.

Reply 26 - Posted by: St. Pitbull, 10/31/2012 8:53:17 PM     (No. 8978196)

#25 no golfing, but everyone has their putters out.

I predict one of Obammies boys starts talkin. Wouldn't be surprised if Reggie Love spills the beans, pun intended.

#15, apparently, judging from the vile content of the ads coming out of the Democrat Campaign, there isn't much that anyone voting Democrat would consider to be scandalous.

Note the picture opposite the president. Diane Feinstein has her hand over her face, one eye peeking out. Now note Obama. The pictures are a tale of two hands.

Dr. Corsi has already written an article about the down-low club of which jugears was an active member and people from Trinity Church named names. The article was a 3 part series of info on obama in Chicago. Told how Rev. Wright and Jesse Jackson paired obama to michelle (the undesirables were talked into cover for the homos, or bi's. This was about 3-4 weeks back. Maybe that is what is coming out.

I just hope Drudge isn't falling for a fake scandal, where the debunking & outrage are pre-scripted

And if anyone thinks a homosexual rumor about Obama will hurt him among black voters, think again. It would be denied as a smear, and a We [bruthas & sistas] Got His Back campaign has been driven home for some time now.

Reply 37 - Posted by: mypointis, 10/31/2012 9:11:48 PM     (No. 8978247)

Well, since we're playing parlour games here.... Do you all remember the staffer that worked in Chicago? Young guy. Died all of a sudden. He had worked very closely with Obama before this election. The other thing I always found strange was Reggie Love said that one of his "duties" as the President's body man was to wake him up in the morning. Why wouldn't his wife do that? Do they use separate bedrooms like Hillary and Bill did?

I would rather read about a smoking gun regarding Benghazi than Obama's, or anyone's, sex life.

Reply 41 - Posted by: DARling, 10/31/2012 9:18:21 PM     (No. 8978265)

I'm not seeing any of this on the Drudge page.

Maybe the exclusive will be that Obama has an unrequited love for Honey Boo Boo's mother.

Reply 42 - Posted by: cgood, 10/31/2012 9:20:24 PM     (No. 8978270)

If it's about Obama, it could backfire. First, it makes him a victim which is a role he's milked for a lifetime. Second, people are serious about this election and will likely be turned off by what they perceive to be another tired political stunt.

just recently it was Trump's great announcement. It turned out to be lame and unworthy of the attention it got. Now this. If he has an announcement to make, just make it. The teasers are pointless and make him look desperate.
I said it a few months ago and it is still true. Believe nothing you see or hear. It is all concocted by professional political liars, no matter what it is.

Reply 51 - Posted by: The Slammer, 10/31/2012 9:40:43 PM     (No. 8978330)

Reply 55 - Posted by: EQKimball, 10/31/2012 9:47:06 PM     (No. 8978342)

Diane Feinstein was critical of Clinton for the Monica scandal. Hence, she is shown with her hand over her face, eye peeking out. Obama is shown, well, ahem. If your mind occasionally travels in the gutter, the mouth agape and gesture chosen by Drudge (out of the million file photos available) is as apparent as a presidential candidate scratching his cheek with his middle finger.

Roger Ebert dead: A film critic
with the soul of a poet
Chicago Tribune, by Rick Kogan    Original Article

It was reviewing movies that made Roger Ebert as famous and wealthy as many of the stars who felt the sting or caress of his pen or were the recipients of his televised thumbs-up or thumbs-down judgments. But in his words and in his life he displayed the soul of a poet whose passions and interests extended far beyond the darkened theaters where he spent so much of his professional life. The Pulitzer Prize-winning movie critic for the Chicago Sun-Times for more than 45 years died Thursday, according to a family friend.

We begin with the three words everyone writing about the election must say: Nobody knows anything. Everyone’s guessing. I spent Sunday morning in Washington with journalists and political hands, one of whom said she feels it’s Obama, the rest of whom said they don’t know. I think it’s Romney. I think he’s stealing in “like a thief with good tools,” in Walker Percy’s old words. While everyone is looking at the polls and the storm, Romney’s slipping into the presidency. He’s quietly rising, and he’s been rising for a while.

Team Romney is drawing satisfaction and a growing sense of confidence from a new CNN poll that, while over-weighting Democrats, shows that Mitt Romney is running away with independents, the Big Kahuna in Tuesday's presidential election. According to a new CNN poll, Romney is beating President Obama 59 percent to 35 percent among independents even when third party candidates are included.

With less than a week before the election, the race for the White House is dead even: Barack Obama and Mitt Romney receive 46 percent each, according to a Fox News poll of likely voters. Romney had a razor-thin 46-45 percent edge earlier this month, after the first presidential debate (October 7-9). Interviews in areas affected by Hurricane Sandy were completed before Monday evening, when the hurricane made landfall. Independents give the edge to Romney by seven percentage points (46-39 percent). That’s down from a 12-point advantage in early October. There’s a gender gap in vote

Michelle Obama has admitted that she is already tired of the bangs she first sported in January. The First Lady said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight: ´Bangs are a day-by-day proposition. They´re starting to grow out, get a little irritating.´ Still, she hasn´t let her hairdo woes get her down. ´It´s okay,´ she said after her initial complaint. ´We´ll be good.´ The first indication that her hairstyle was becoming a burden came about last weekend, when Malia, 14, was spotted adjusting her mother´s hair during the White House Easter Egg Roll.

President Obama´s biggest gaffe yesterday when speaking of California Attorney General Kamala Harris was not in flirtatiously complimenting her as "the best-looking attorney general," but in introducing an observation from the system of beauty into a forum that was about the system of power. What´s that, you say? Irin Carmon does a great job in Salon in laying out the bounds of propriety for when it´s appropriate to talk about a woman´s looks as a general matter. But I´ve long felt we lack a solid theoretical underpinning for easily discussing these issues, and why precisely it is that

Sen. John McCain says he doesn´t understand the threats from some of his Republican colleagues to filibuster a bill on background checks to buy guns. "I don´t understand it," the Arizona Republican said on Sunday of the threat coming from Sen. Rand Paul,Sen. Ted Cruz, Sen. Mike Lee and nine other Republicans. "The purpose of the United States Senate is to debate and to vote and to let the people know where we stand.” "What are we afraid of? ... If this issue is as important as we all think it is, why not take ... it up and debate?"

No one is more preoccupied these days with Hillary Clinton´s 2016 plans than the Beltway political class—not even the former presidential candidate herself. To hear some tell it, her decision will be dispositive for all other Democrats thinking of entering the race. And pundits and reporters aren´t the only ones positing the "The Hillary Factor": No less than the House Democratic whip, Steny Hoyer, told BuzzFeed, “I don´t know that anybody would run against Hillary…. If she runs, she clears the field.” It´s an understandable conclusion, given Clinton´s stature in the Democratic Party and her 70 percent

Neurosurgeon Ben Carson, considered by some to be a potential Republican contender for president, apologized to Johns Hopkins University for the "poorly chosen words" he used in expressing his opposition to gay marriage last month.“I am sorry for any embarrassment this has caused,” Carson said in the letter, reported in New York Magazine.(Snip) "Although I do believe marriage is between a man and a woman, there are much less offensive ways to make that point. I hope all will look at a lifetime of service over some poorly chosen words.” Carson will remain as commencement speaker at Johns Hopkins,

On Friday, Sean Hannity brought Pat Smith, mother of the late Sean Smith, on his radio program. The 34-year-old information management officer was one of four Americans murdered in the Benghazi embassy attack on September 11, 2012. In the chilling interview, a distraught Ms. Smith, in tears, pleaded for answers and spoke of the efforts to silence her. Ms. Smith first relayed how her son, prior to the attack, requested additional security in advance and warned the State Department: He did tell them, ahead of time, he typed it into his little typewriter over there,

Put out an all-points bulletin: Millions of Americans have gone missing from the workforce. Every month that those would-be workers are gone raises the odds that they might never come back, dimming the prospects for future economic growth. The vanishing trend is more than a decade old, but it accelerated during the Great Recession. Throughout 2012, economists held out hope that it had stopped. But then came Friday’s jobs report, and hopes were dashed. The Labor Department reported that the U.S. labor force — everyone who has a job or is looking for one — shrank

Susan Patton, the Princeton alumna who became famous for her letter urging Ivy League women to use their college years to find a mate, has been denounced as a traitor to feminism, to coeducation, to the university ideal. But really she’s something much more interesting: a traitor to her class. Her betrayal consists of being gauche enough to acknowledge publicly a truth that everyone who’s come up through Ivy League culture knows intuitively —

Los Angeles — Some people have had it with TV. They´ve had enough of the 100-plus channel universe. They don´t like timing their lives around network show schedules. They´re tired of $100-plus monthly bills. A growing number of them have stopped paying for cable and satellite TV service, and don´t even use an antenna to get free signals over the air. (Snip) Last month, the Nielsen Co. started labeling people in this group "Zero TV" households, because they fall outside the traditional definition of a TV home. There are 5 million of these residences in the U.S., up from

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. This begs the question, “Why are we losing our religion?”

Beyonce and Jay-Z celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary in Cuba this week. The couple, who married on April 4, 2008, took in the sights of Old Havana, visited a school, dined on a rooftop terrace and strolled the fan-filled streets in their island best.(snip).The power couple declined to answer journalists´ questions about their visit to the island nation, but some outlets are reporting that the moguls are there as tourists, though that would be illegal because of the half-century embargo the U.S. has on the Communist country.
