Pastor who prayed at Obama’s
inauguration says all white
people will go to hell

Washington Examiner, by Joel Gehrke

Pastor Joseph Lowery, a civil rights movement hero who delivered the benediction at President Obama’s inauguration, reportedly said that he is shocked that any black Americans would stay home with Obama on the ballot and suggested that all or most white people would go to hell. The local outlet paraphrases Lowery’s comments. “Lowery said that when he was a young militant, he used to say all white folks were going to hell,” the Monroe County Reporter (Ga.) says in covering a rally in Forsyth, Georgia. “Then he mellowed and just said most of them were. Now, he said, he is back

Comments:
And the leftists are always accusing Republicans of being racist. I just want 0bama out of the White House.

FTA (Lowery praying): “…help us to make choices on the side of love, not hate; on the side of inclusion, not exclusion; tolerance, not intolerance,”

Continuing, Lowery’s words also quoted in the article: Black people should ALL vote for 0-bama because he’s black, all white people are going to hell, and only stupid people would vote for Romney.

So which Pastor Lowery did God listen to?

This race pimp revrum has a street named for him in downtown Atlanta. Time to change the name back and restore Atlanta's historical street names. And strip his "church" of its tax exempt status. Further proof of Øbama's rage against Whitey. And proof of his unbroken string of associations w Revrum Wright-like creeps.

I'm confused. Does the racist pastor mean that all white people, as in completely white without a hint of black, brown, yellow, red, will go to hell? Or does he mean that all people who are white with any mixtures included will go to hell, for example, like Hussein-Obama? Based on what the racist pastor is saying, should there be a hell, I am convinced that is his future home.

It's difficult to get very upset over this. It's more pathetic and downright funny.

Then again, if/when they cross the line when Obama gets his butt handed to him on Tuesday, we'll have to address the situation.

If this isn't racist I don't know what is. Perhaps Joseph Lowery is suffering from just a tad of senility. He and others often remind us that they marched with Dr. King and supported Dr. King - I don't believe that Dr. King would approve of this type of racist ranting.

Back at the funeral of Coretta King, the Rev spent most of his eulogy taking shots at Dubya who was there. Not a huge fan of O'Reilly but I loved his line: who goes to a funeral dressed like a carnival barker? He just an old fool who is honest enough to admit he's a racist.

Meanwhile, heaven will be looted and trashed, the streets of gold will be ripped up and sold for crack, and before you know it, heaven will become a living hell.

I am sick of the media calling any black person who marched for civil rights a "hero" of the movement. It takes more than mere participation and having a loud voice to be considered a "hero".

Obama gave Lowery a big time medal, so you have to figure that Obama feels the same way, only he does not know which half of himself will go through the pearly gates, and which half is headed for the devil's den.

Lowery is 91 years old and really should not be speaking in public. It is sad to hear him spouting such racist cant, even if it is at least in part the result of senility. This is not at all what MLK, Jr. had in mind. In fact, it is the very thing he was fighting against. More than one venerated black "civil rights leader" connected with Dr. King has traded shamelessly on his name while betraying his principles. The refusal of white liberals to challenge such scurrilous behavior, indeed their active support of it, is almost nauseating.

Rev. Lowery is an ordained minister of the Christian faith, but even men of the cloth can become separated from our Lord when they start worshipping people and things instead of our Creator and Redeemer. Same as #31, I regard Lowery's fall from grace with much sadness. I hope he hasn't lost his salvation. Politics can have this kind of effect on people.

Alhough the 41-year-old often stirs up controversy (thanks to everything from her touting her own wood-burning pizza oven to referring to her recent breakup as a "conscious uncoupling"), this latest reaction is due, in part, to a New York Post open letter to Paltrow regarding an interview she gave on the challenges of being a movie-star mom. On Wednesday, Paltrow, who announced her split from husband Chris Martin this week, told E! News, “I think it´s different when you have an

The White House took steps Friday toward issuing methane emissions regulations at hydraulic fracturing sites, a move that would slash greenhouse gas emissions in hopes of meeting President Obama´s climate goals but will invite backlash from industry. The news is a victory for environmental groups, which note that methane -- a short-lived, potent greenhouse gas that has a 20 times greater impact on climate change than carbon dioxide -- is the largest remaining unregulated greenhouse gas, accounting for 9 percent of U.S. emissions. The oil and gas industry, however, has warned that regulating methane emissions would stunt domestic energy production by raising

Justices Kagan, Ginsberg, and Sotomayor sprang on Hobby Lobby’s attorney , interrupting his every sentence and pummeling him with questions taken right out of the Democratic Party’s “war on women” playbook. That playbook was laid out in a

Las Vegas - Many of the Republican Party’s most powerful insiders and financiers have begun a behind-the-scenes campaign to draft former Florida governor Jeb Bush into the 2016 presidential race, courting him and his intimates and starting talks on fundraising strategy. Concerned that the George Washington Bridge traffic scandal has damaged New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s political standing and alarmed by the steady rise of Sen. Rand Paul (Ky.), prominent donors, conservative leaders and longtime operatives say they consider Bush the GOP’s brightest hope to win back the White House.

The past couple of weeks have marked a turning point in American ugliness as the mob has turned its full fury on first lady Michelle Obama. From criticism of her trip to China to a recent “tell-all” by former White House assistant press secretary Reid Cherlin in the New Republic about Obama’s allegedly tyrannical behavior, the gloves have been removed. As described, she was a perfectionist — super-attentive to detail and laser-focused on advance planning. And this is bad because? Worse, according to a former (anonymous) staffer, there was no barometer for meeting Obama’s high standards. “The first lady having

A University of Virginia student arrested by Alcoholic Beverage Control agents who wrongly believed she´d illegally bought beer when in fact she only had bottled water is seeking $40 million in a lawsuit filed Tuesday. Elizabeth K. Daly, 21, alleges malicious prosecution, six counts of assault and battery and failure to appropriately train ABC agents in the suit which names the state and seven agents involved in her arrest. (Snip) Daly claimed she attempted to flee from the agents because neither were in uniform, one pulled a gun, and the other tried to smash her car window with a flashlight. ´My

Obamacare supporters are taking a bit of a victory lap today after yesterday’s administration announcement that six million people have signed up for private plans under the law, equaling the revised projection put out by the Congressional Budget Office after the botched launch of the exchanges last October. It’s a weak cause for celebration, given that success, according to Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, was originally "at least" seven million people getting covered under the law by the end of March. And as an Obamacare factoid, the six million sign-ups figure just doesn’t tell us all that much

A "vast majority" of Mitt Romney donors, establishment pooh-bahs, and an anti-conservative consultant who is the epitome of permanent political class want former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush to run for president in 2016. Bush was in Las Vegas this week meeting with Sheldon Adelson, and, according to the Post, "many if not most of 2012 GOP nominee Mitt Romney’s major donors are reaching out to Bush and his confidants with phone calls, e-mails and invitations to meet." One bundler even said that a "vast majority” of "Romney’s top 100 donors would back Bush." The Post also noted that in the meantime "Bush’s

If Betsey McCaughey is correct (and I bet she is, because she has not only read the entire ObamaCare bill, she has written a book about it), Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan publicly humiliated herself during the oral arguments on the Hobby Lobby case, revealing that she either did not read the law, or failed to comprehend it if she did so. Writing in the New York Sun, McCaughey lays out what is wrong with the Justice’s declaration about Obamacare: she asserted that the statute itself mandates provision of birth control. Not one word in the Affordable Care Act guarantees health plans will cover birth control products.

Former U.S. Senator Bob Kerrey thinks President Barack Obama, a fellow Democrat, was re-elected in 2012 because he ´sucked less´ than former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney. The Nebraskan straight-talker told MailOnline in an exclusive interview that Obama isn´t up to the job of bringing liberals and conservatives to the table to rescue America´s slowly choking entitlement programs. And Obama, he said Wednesday in his Manhattan office, knew full well he was lying when he promised that the Affordable Care Act would allow Americans to keep insurance plans they liked. ´He had to know he was misleading the audience,´ Kerrey said

YOKOHAMA, Japan — Climate change is already having sweeping effects on every continent and throughout the world’s oceans, scientists reported Monday, and they warned that the problem is likely to grow substantially worse unless greenhouse emissions are brought under control. The report by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, a United Nations group that periodically summarizes climate science, concluded that ice caps are melting, sea ice in the Arctic is collapsing, water supplies are coming under stress, heat waves and heavy rains are intensifying, coral reefs are dying, and fish and many other creatures are migrating toward the poles or

With studies showing widening economic gaps between whites and African Americans, civil rights leaders in metro Detroit are concerned. “We’re going in the wrong direction,” said Freda Sampson, a leader with the nonprofit group Michigan Roundtable for Diversity and Inclusion. “We’re getting further and further divided.” To help close that racial and class divide, her group is holding an all-day conference, called the Equity Action Summit, on Saturday at Cobo Center in Detroit. (Snip) Saturday’s conference, supported by the NAACP and Fair Housing Center of Metro Detroit, is to feature talks by President Barack Obama’s former pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah
