Biden: You'll Vote For Me in 2016
Townhall, by Katie Pavlich

Original Article

Posted By:kennedylaw, 10/31/2012 3:03:36 PM

During a campaign stop in Florida today, Vice President Joe Biden tried to convince at least one voter they would eventually vote for his presidential candidacy in 2016. This isn't the first time Biden has hinted at a 2016 run for the White House.

Comments:
I would encourage Joe to run, but Lord what would we do if he actually won?

Don't laugh, but I can easily see the Demon-RATS running Crazy Uncle Joe as their candidate in 2016.

Think about it. Romney has such an incredibly good first four years, that he has 90% approval ratings. He is a shoe-in for reelection. The Demon-RATS know they can't beat him, so they pick a ''sacrifical lamb'' to run against him as a reward for being a faithful party lackey for years. Think of John McPain in the last election.

Who better to sacrifice than Crazy Uncle Joe??? Works for me...

I'm thinking Hillary will give it a try, but she'll be 69 and still covered in Obama. The guy that made the break just in time, who is ambitious and aggressive, polishing his image machine every day, and is still involved on the national scence campaigning for the party in Florida, is the former presidential chief of staff. Emmanuel will run if Romney isn't a shoo-in and Obama doesn't win now thus ruining 2016. I'm hoping Romney wins in 12 and we get to see what Axelrod and Allred do to get rid of Emanuel for Obama 2016. Popcorn in Chicago.

To put it more simply, Newt Gingrich has a better chance at the Dem nomination than Uncle Joe.

During oral arguments today at the Supreme Court, Justice Antonin Scalia and attorney Ted Olson had a pointed exchange over whether same-sex marriage is a fundamental right guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution. Scalia's argument, which was advanced by Chief Justice John Roberts before him, was that when the institution of marriage developed historically, it was not done with the explicit intent of excluding gay and lesbian couples.

Earth-like worlds may be closer and more plentiful than anyone imagined. Astronomers reported Wednesday that the closest Earth-like planet may be just 13 light years away. That planet hasn´t been found yet, but should be there based on the team´s study of red dwarf stars. Galactically speaking, it´s a stroll across the park. "We now know the rate of occurrence of habitable planets around the most common stars in our galaxy," said study co-author David Charbonneau. "That rate implies that it will be significantly easier to search for life beyond the solar system than we previously thought."

President Obama on Friday blasted Mitt Romney for using “scare” tactics in claiming that U.S. car companies are moving jobs to China, and the Republican challenger warned in another battleground state that reelecting the president would lead to another showdown in Congress next year over the debt ceiling. Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. This begs the question, “Why are we losing our religion?”

Put out an all-points bulletin: Millions of Americans have gone missing from the workforce. Every month that those would-be workers are gone raises the odds that they might never come back, dimming the prospects for future economic growth. The vanishing trend is more than a decade old, but it accelerated during the Great Recession. Throughout 2012, economists held out hope that it had stopped. But then came Friday’s jobs report, and hopes were dashed. The Labor Department reported that the U.S. labor force — everyone who has a job or is looking for one — shrank
