The title resumes that there has been a recovery. Technically, perhaps there has, but the economy is barely growing, the jobless are still out of work, the dollar is shrinking, and peoples net worth is decreasing. So I say give Obama full credit!

However, on main street there are still 23 million Americans looking for work. In our babies' rooms they face a $16 trillion dollar debt (plus interest) that must be repaid to China. Even the liberal press (except for NY Times) has admitted that the reason unemployment was reported to be below 8% was that an Obama supporter and state employment officer in California failed to report unemployment numbers in that state last month.

Economic growth is anemic at best, no higher in 2012 than it was in 2011, which in turn was lower than in 2010. Fewer people working, more on disability, unemployment, food stamps, etc.

Only in the eyes of the NYT and similar illusionists is this considered a recovery.

Just left NC were gas has dropped to around $3.25 in the last three weeks. The local news is making a big deal about it but I can't imagine it helping sway any votes.

Recovery? When millions have lost jobs and have dropped out of the labor force, the number of unemployed can appear to be "below 8%" when it's really 14% or higher. This allows the Democrats to claim a recovery is in place, but the GDP and the rate of growth is still abyssmal.

There is no recovery unless you cut the population in half and count only the employed and new housing starts.

I can see Obozo after Romney wins the presidency and the economy does take off saying, "See, I told you it was and you should have given me more time". To that Romney needs to tell the American people that the recovery is due to the optimisism of the American people that we together can make things better by getting rid of Obamacare, all the nutty regs that Obozo and his admin put in place. We, the people. Not we, the government.

There is no recovery. I still know three people living in their homes waiting for the foreclosure to finally kick them out. Not one of them has paid a dime on their mortgage for the last two and a half years; one couple, it is four years. They all bought houses they could not afford (thanks to Barney Frank), and they took as much money out of them as they could, and now they are living in them for free. Yet, they spend all their money on vacations, clothes, and tattoos.

This is pure optimism of Romney winning. If Obie squeaks out a win with the voter fraud troops he's put out there, the economy will tank hard!

He was forever jumping out the window or cutting his wrists....eventually he succeeded, even someone as stupid as working for this rag....now I begin to understand what kind of people they have working for them!
