AC-130u Gunship Was On Scene In
Benghazi, Obama Admin Refused
To Let It Fire (Updated)

PJ Media, by Bob Owens

Original Article

Posted By:Robinsolana, 10/27/2012 3:19:00 PM

The security officer had a laser on the target that was firing and repeatedly requested back-up support from a Specter gunship, which is commonly used by U.S. Special Operations forces to provide support to Special Operations teams on the ground involved in intense firefights. The fighting at the CIA annex went on for more than four hours — enough time for any planes based in Sigonella Air base, just 480 miles away, to arrive. Fox News has also learned that two separate Tier One Special operations forces were told to wait, among them Delta Force operators.

Comments:
Assets were in place overhead. Our soldiers had put lasers on the mortars that threatened them. The leadership in Washington betrayed our soldiers on the ground by refusing to help.
This is why Obama has been lying for weeks.
This is why the complicit media has whitewashed the story of Benghazi and attempted to make it disappear.
Betrayal is ugly anytime.
Betrayal and lies are outrageous.

Asleep at the wheel from the top down. Truth is, I believe Joe Biden when he declared he and 0bama knew nothing about the incident. They were out of the loop just like in health care and every stinking green energy flop to the right people repay from 2008.

Well that explains why the Spec Ops Operator on the roof had a lazer target designator on.

He would not be doing this if there was no friendly to get the data.

Meanwhile, on FOX just now there is dumb Alan Colmes still arguing that The Won used the word terrorism in the Rose Garden and the next day.

Me thinks, we are a long way from that Alan.

But I still fault the 4-star General (AfricaCommand) who actually had operational command; it was a time to not wait on orders from the WH. It was a time to tell the AF to do its job.

PS - how would you like to be a young, fresh Lieutenant who has to second guess his commands in battle. (Is the WH watching ready to let him get killed)

It gets more sickening by the day.

This is what happens when you have a Muslim as C-I-C. Born Muslim, raised Muslim, with hate in his heart for America.

If this traitorous Marxist clown somehow gets re-elected (god forbid) he won't last a year without being Impeached or charged and found guilty of criminal negligence and/or accessory to murder.

I purposely suffered through The Nightly News with Brian Williams last night specifically for any mention of Benghazi. Nothing. Zip, Nada. No word except coverup could describe the MSN in this matter. I had to keep the bottom 25 channels of the cable lineup just to have internet access. Just knowing they are lurking there makes me nervous.

FTA - pg. 2 ''Only two places could have called off the attack at that point; the WH situation command (based on POTUS direction) or AFRICOM commander based on information directly from the target area.''

This may connect the dots between Benghazi and Rear Adm. Charles M. Gaouette of the Stennis group who was just ''temporarily'' relieved. Can Ldotters familiar with chain of command issues shed some light on this?

Benghazi was supposed to be a simple kidnalling of our Ambassador and maybe a few staff...ala the Iranian Embassy takover. Obama was to come in on his triuphant unicorn and save the day, JUST in time for election day! Obama...our Saviour!
However, his pals on the ground got a little too excited, (as in-bred scum tend to get), and blew the whole operation.
Now poor Barry has to play catch up, and cover up.
THAT'S what happened.

This is the poster child for why we need to relax our Rules of Engagement. Our operational forces can't fire their tactical weapons without White House approval! If Washington would turn loose the dogs of war and let our forces do their job as they best see fit, we could end this madness rather quickly.

I agree with others here, this story gets more and more disgusting by the minute. If Øbama isn't voted out in the election, he will be impeached by next Spring. One way or the other, he is out. If he is smart, he will bow out in November. But I don't hink he is very smart, in fact I think he is very stupid, so he will drag the country through this nightmare for months and months if he is somehow re-elected. He is an arrogant, smug slimeball. I've had enough of his nightmare for America.

The Benghazi debacle has three parts: how we neglected security while al-Qaeda was building a presence in Libya; whether the administration tried to mislead the public as to the nature of the attack; and now whether the administration denied pleas for help from operatives on the ground at the consulate. Now, presumably at the behest of Gen. David Petraeus — who has been remarkably tight-lipped and not defended his agency against White House accusations that senior officials’ misstatements were the fault of the CIA — the CIA threw the hot potato right back in the politicians’ laps.

Mitt Romney has opened up a clear lead over Barack Obama in their presidential race. That owes a great deal to the candidates’ debate performances, of course. But something else is going on, too. In recent days, Obama’s approval rating has taken a perceptible hit. Via the Weekly Standard, we see that in the Rasmussen survey, only 47% approve of Obama’s job performance, while 52% disapprove. There are two plausible explanations for Obama’s current slide: voters may be disgusted by the mean, petty campaigning he is running, or they may disapprove of his handling of the Benghazi crisis. Or both.

Reports indicate two drones and an AC-130 gunship were in the area when Benghazi was attacked, yet their resources were not used. This runs completely against the current explanation coming out of the White House, which is that Obama did everything he could once he learned of the attack. You'll remember that in the second presidential debate, Obama said that as "soon as I was aware the Benghazi consulate was being overrun, I was on the phone with my national security team." The not-so-subtle intimation is that Obama was stepping up to the protect the U.S. personnel who were in Libya.

According to Fox News, the three requests for help made during the seven-hour attack on our consulate in Benghazi were met with orders from U.S. officials to "stand down." Wisely, Obama dodged this question entirely. I say "wisely" because,

Although the Civil Rights Act, the landmark legislation which just reached its 50th anniversary, made great strides in desegregating the economy, economic discrimination is still widespread, and anti-discrimination legislation alone can never rectify the economic damage inflicted upon blacks by slavery and our Jim Crow apartheid regime. The Civil Rights Act was a mild reform, all things considered, but one conservatives fought with vigor and one many conservatives are still bitter about to this day. When the Civil Rights Act passed in 1964, the primary purpose was to root out discrimination in public accommodations (like hotels and movie theaters)
