| In an interview with a Denver TV reporter Friday, President Obama twice refused to answer questions as to whether the Americans under siege in Benghazi, Libya on September 11, 2012, were denied requests for help, saying he’s waiting for the results of investigations before making any conclusions about what went wrong. After being asked about possible denials of requests for aid, and whether it’s fair to tell Americans that what happened is under investigation and won’t be released until after the election, the president said, “the election has nothing to do with four brave Americans getting killed

Comments: Sorry Barry, America isn't going to let you get to Nov. 6th without an answer. Better hope Valerie Jarrett comes up with something quick.

Obama sacrificed 4 American lives for a political calculation that blaming a video would allow him to ride this out to election day. To have sent in help would have ment having to admit that there was a terrorist attack. It would have raised questions about why we were not prepared and would have set up the possibility for him to be compared to Jimmy Carter if things in a rescue went wrong. Too bad for those Americans in Benghazi. Obama's re election was more important.

Interesting, reading the 'comments' section, most are furious about the Non-Reporting of the story.

He's hiding plenty, and his friends in the LSM have abandoned all pretense of impartiality and professionalism to ensure it all stays hidden.

This election has a LOT to do with the death of 4 Americans. Everyone of us knows someone in the military, CIA, or State Dept, etc. and this concerns us because it concerns them. This also says that these people would let the American people on this soil die to protect one of their lies, their hides, or something to do with their foolish ideology.

Sadly, I believe #4 is correct.
Priority #1 for Obama and crew has been to put a lid on the whole affair, particularly until after Election Day.
Reaches the level of "high crimes" IMO.

Obama and legacy media only have to ignore this scandal until November 6th. If he wins, issue disappears because "I won, again, and the American people want me to focus on something other than 4 bumps." BO will be as callous as Hillary, knowing that NYT, WaPo and NBC could care less.
If he loses (yes!), he will ignore all requests for all info on scandals, from Benghazi and Fast & Furious to "green" energy. He'll spend last 3 months playing golf in Hawaii, Bora Bora, New Zealand and any other place his mother-in-law has seen. Eric Holder will have comprehensive pardon list executed on January 19th.

Obviously they were denied help, because help never came . Sheesh- we're not all Obamaphone people , Tapper. With the bombshell news reported today by FOX , treason and criminal charges are the first terms that automatically spring to mind. Obama's excuse, which the media laps up , is so infuriating. We couldn't send help until we determined the cause of the attack. Like saying firemen cannot enter a building and extinguish a blaze until they determine the cause of the fire. The military community is en fuego today , as are normal , patriotic Americans. This is outrageous.

E-mails prove that the Obama administration denied the Benghazi embassy personnel's pleas for help before they were murdered.
Presumably, the White House answered their pleas at the time by declaring that the situation was ''under investigation.''
Now, the same Obama administration is using the same excuse to deny the requests for the truth from the grieving families of the four Benghazi dead.
At least a Denver TV reporter had the decency to try to help the families by pressing Obama for the truth. Maybe the voters of Denver will be so disgusted at Obama's refusal to answer the reporter that they'll put the battleground state of Colorado clearly in Romney's column.

I don't believe Obama did not know what was happening at Benghazi. He knew and was setting up an October Surprise gone terribly wrong! It was supposedly a fake kidnapping where the ambassador was supposed to be taken in a safehouse and be rescued by Special forces sometime before the election. It supposed to be another Bin laden scenario and Obama will looked to be unbeatable for freeing the ambassador. But the two SEALS, Woods and Doherty who weren't in on the plot threw a monkey wrench by intervening without authorization. They had to to be killed by giving the insurgents the target information so they can eliminate both of them with mortars - silenced them forever. If ever they survived, they definitely would have taken down the Obama administration for their treasonous conspiracy. Sounds more plausible to me rather than the stupid, stupid video.

Questions an honest media member would be asking right now: Who was in the Situatiion Room? Was Obama in the Situation Room? What time did Obama go to bed? What time did Obama leave for Vegas? Why did Obama skip the Intelligence Briefing on the 12th? Was this a gun running operation? If it was a gun running operation,is that why there were no investigators on the scene.
Our disgraceful Pravda media should also be tried for treason. Starting with Nightly News anchors.

This is quickly becoming more and more damaging as it goes on. The lies are getting difficult to keep straight, and 10 days is a long time to hide under your desk when you are running for president. Even IF he is re-elected, Issa will not drop this. If Romney is elected, there should be no amount of effort spared to get to the bottom of this outrage. This isnt like it was a random firefight on foreign soil.. this was an attack on OUR soil. We have to protect our ambassadors, or bring them home. period.

How come he doesn't know already? This is the kind of gimmicky answer produced by someone who as they say never ever ran anything. Is he not able to command accountability? Not on the death of an ambassador? What kind of manager is this? Does he think it is normal to be out of touch with such facts? Is he getting his ideas of executive behavior from things he saw on television (yes), where, like, Simpson's boss, see? he demands answers! President Obama plays one on TV.

This is getting worse and worse-per Fox News--they didn't just ignore Stevens' request for help prior to the attack. DURING the attack they had excellent communications and fire power galore, including armed drones that must have been overhead (because the SEALS were lasering targets for it!!) they could have sent, but the order was given repeatedly to STAND DOWN. JAKE TAPPER-for God's sake, step up and be what journalists are supposed to be in a free democratic nation-tell the American people this horrific, tragic story....

What, exactly, was the CIA doing in Benghazi? Fast & Furious 2.0? Was this whole thing a gun deal gone wrong? Were Stevens and the others killed with the arms that 0 sold to al queerda?

First to the press: will you please in heaven's name ask the President -- if he won't answer won't happen because it is too soon -- why EVEN EARLIER than now, when he knew even LESS about what was going on, he went to the U.N. with a story he now implicitly acknowledges wasn't true. Why his Secretary of State parroted the same story in that dumb commercial she did, why his Ambassador to the U.N. went on all 5 Sunday shows (full Ginsberg) and told that story. Second, to the President, if the election isn't about your foreign policy, what is it supposed to be about? Libya is on YOU 100%. Nothing to do with Bush or the congressional Republicans.

"We want to be sure we get it right."
What utter bull*hit.
It is as plain to see as the lengthening nose on his face that Obama's indecision on the night of September 11th while he sought to "get it right" is the reason four Americans are dead. He had all of the facts necessary to act. He was asked repeatedly to do so but didn't.
Was he waiting for Valerie to give him the green light to act as was the case in the aborted Bin Laden raids when she stopped the President from acting?
The father of Throne Woods last night called the inaction by those in the Administration the equivalent of murder. No mincing of words there. One can empathize with the parent of a lost navy SEAL who defied orders to stand down so as to engage the enemy to save American lives. Obama was at best grossly negligent in failing to order forces to help Americans in peril. As Commander in Chief, he exhibited gross dereliction of duty.
Likewise let us not forget the now-obvious lies that Biden spewed forth during the VP debate. Remember his words? He emphatically stated that the White House did not know what was happening on the ground. He blamed the intelligence community for bad intelligence. Biden is a disgrace.
Americans have less than two weeks until they can exercise their rights to vote these two out of office. It can't come quickly enough.

"...served under" him? Is he serious? He'd soil himself if asked to serve in the military or for that matter, to do anything risky.
He has demonstrated his cowardice repeatedly by refusing to make hard decisions and by blaming everyone else for his failures as a man, as a President, and as a Commander-In-Chief.
Who gave the "NO" answer to the cries for help? In this situation, answers have to come from the top. So was it Jarrett, Hillary, Biden, who? We know it wasn't Obama because he'd never have the cojones to make such a decision and have it go south on him.
Obama demands plausible deniability, so who was it that gave the orders to let our men die? And who signed off on those orders?

"We have to wait until we have a full investigation.....". How many times have we heard that in the past 4 years? And we NEVER hear the results of any "investigation". And just how thorough of an investigation can be done in a foreign country? How can you compel witnesses to come forward with an information they might have? Are we going to subpoena them? How stupid do these people think we are?
Anyone with a speck of reasoning and common sense knows that all that is being played out now are stalling tactics to get past Nov. 6. It's a copper riveted cinch that all of this will die down after the election. Especially if (GOD forbid) Oboza should win.
I give a star to Fox News for staying on this. I hope that they continue to beat this drum loud and long until we, the people, get some satisfactory answers from the WH. And we MUST intensify our efforts to get rid of Obozo and elect Mitt Romney.

Hopefully FOX has snapped this reporter up while he is still in the I am a real reporter/journalist stage. Anyway, kudos to the reporter. Check out the video which is referenced somewhere below or the full interview. Finally Obama death count-- 4 dead Americans, at least 1 known dead American border agents, and daily dead American soldiers in Afghanistan left with a single force of about 64,000 to be shot in the back of the head or otherwise murdered by Afghanis or Taliban or whoever. Picked off. And counting....

New Intel - this was a seriously botched operation.
Ambassador Stevens was to be taken hostage, not killed
To be traded for the Blind Sheik. Obama's people worked this out in order to mollify the Muslim Brotherhood's demand for the sheik's return. A hostage trade would be cover.
Instead, the jihadists killed Stevens.
This is why everyone was told to "stand down! "stand down!" The station personnel were not be rescued until Obama could step in and make the trade.
Now they have to cover it up. Political suicide if this truth gets out

We will never get the truth. The truth is we have domestic enemies, and what congressman or newspaper is going with that until he can "get it right?" They define the problem and express disappointment and say "We need to get to the bottom of this soon." And they laugh at us. We are crippled by politically correct lawyers, and the people thinking they are supporting Obama and fairness do not have a clue what they are aiding abd abetting. Ask yourself: what calculation did McCain make when he stopped Bachmann from investigating Muslim influence on our policy? It was a Rove-type calculation.

IMO Obama was incapable of making any decision as he was unsure how any repercussions would play out for his reelection campaign. So he basically did NOTHING as Americans died. He watched it all in real time and did NOTHING.
Reelection is ALL he care about at this point in time..
The 4 Americans were nothing other than Collateral Damage in Obama's eyes.

Hilary Clinton kept her word to Tyrone Woods' father: Mr. Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, the permanent US resident Coptic Christian, is now in Federal Prison in Los Angeles. Hussein Soetoro himself addressed the video six times in his shameful speech to the United Nations General Assembly on September 24. Three days later Nakoula entered a prison where Muslim inmates are a threat to him.

This is not going away.
He is going to lose the election, then be impeached during his lame duck term, and then a Republican Senate is going to convict him after the first of the new year and strip him of his lifetime benefits. Then he will be prosecuted and imprisoned.
The "Affordable Care Act" will be repealed by that same Republican Senate about the time he is convicted just for good measure.
#28, Clinton did the same thing i.e. "calling for an investigation" in response to Jim Lehrer's question about "did you have a relationship with the young woman Lewinski."
You don't have to investigate something of which you and only you have personal knowledge.

I read this on Powerline this morning and it made my blood boil! I hope it is OK to copy and post here. How can we have sunk so low that a candidate (excuse me a president) will jettison all duties in favor of re-election? AND the media will cover?
"If, in addition, there is credible evidence that American soldiers, fighting desperately for their lives against our country’s most bitter enemies, called for help but were cynically left to perish in order to protect Barack Obama’s petty re-election campaign, Obama will not only lose the election but will be turned out of office in disgust by a clear majority of voters. Reporters and editors know this. It will be interesting to see how they respond during the coming days: will they do their jobs, or will they assist their candidate with his cover-up?"

Three Urgent Requests for Military Back-Up Denied: Does Public Deserve to Know Who Told CIA Operators to 'Stand Down' During Benghazi Attack?
I believe each and every one of us should be hitting as many news outlets' websites as possible and make comments - even copy some of the wonderful comments on this page - I think every one of us should do this every day until the election results are announced. I think we should absolutely drown them in our comments - leave no doubt what we think of this travesty.
I believe we should be blistering to every comment that flatters the Administration until we KNOW what was and was not done and said. And I believe politeness has left us forever because no one in DC has earned one teeny bit of politeness.
Media must have SOME value. There will be more people hear us if we bang on THEIR door, and especially if we continually bang without letup.

Secretary of State John Kerry said Thursday he´s determined to answer any questions related to the deadly assault on the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya, as the House Republican leader pushed for more information from the Obama administration. One day after a lengthy House hearing on the Sept. 11, 2012, attack, Kerry told reporters as he traveled overseas that anyone culpable of wrongdoing will be dealt with appropriately. But he´s withholding judgment on testimony in Congress suggesting that senior State Department officials were pressured or demoted for objecting to the administration´s initial and since-debunked explanations for the attacks.

Guantanamo is complicated. Everyone says so. Everyone is wrong. Mainstream media pundits don´t get it. They suggest a lame hodgepodge of solutions: a few repatriations here, a few extraordinary renditions there, maybe convincing some allies to take the victims of our stupid "war on terrorism." Immoral and idiotic. All of the detainees can, should and must be released. Here. In the United States. I don´t find myself saying this very often, but President Barack Obama is finally talking about doing something right.(snip) "Guantanamo is not necessary to keep America safe," he told a news conference.

Endless speculation about his wife´s political future is a waste of time right now and the nation should be more focused on the "grimy details" of fixing its problems, former President Bill Clinton said Tuesday. "That is the worst expenditure of our time," the Chappaqua resident said at the 2013 Fiscal Summit, where he appeared with Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, the head of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Gates joked that he didn´t think his wife, the highly-regarded philanthropist, would run for president. The former president then chimed in, to laughter, "Hillary hasn´t mentioned it to me, either."

Northwestern University continued to stumble over diversity issues this week as Mexican students voiced disagreement with a campuswide letter that advised students not to celebrate Cinco de Mayo by engaging in racially-offensive activities, such as eating tacos and drinking tequila. The letter was sent to students via e-mail, and published in The Daily Northwestern last week. Leaders of Alianza, a Latino student group, and the Associated Student Government called on students to remember that Cinco de Mayo commemorates Mexico’s victory over France in the Battle of Puebla. It is not a day to throw a sombrero-themed party, they said.

There was tragic incompetence, plainly, in the Obama administration’s handling of the Benghazi attacks, and even possibly some political calculation. It is a record that may well come to haunt Hillary Clinton, the first Secretary of State to lose an ambassador in the field in more than three decades, if she runs for president in 2016. But the obvious Republican effort to turn this inquiry into the Democratic (Obama) version of the Iraq intelligence scandal that has tarred the GOP since the George W. Ahead of the Benghazi hearings in which three witnesses are set to testify before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, Fox & Friends co-host Brian Kilmeade invited Fox News analyst Lt. Col. Ralph Peters to discuss the issue. Peters was unflinching in his criticism of the “cowardly” Obama administration — and the “establishment media” that aids it. “Is this a national security coverup?” Kilmeade asking, explaining that the witness testimony is expected to say the administration was deceitful in its handling of the situation. “The administration, facing the election, went into panic mode, wanted to contain it,”

Fans of Glenn Beck are complaining about what I wrote yesterday about his speech at the National Rifle Association convention, where he used a giant image of Michael Bloomberg photoshopped into what appeared to be an image of Hitler with his arm raised in a Nazi salute and wearing an armband. The Beck crowd now tells me that it wasn’t Hitler’s picture into which the New York mayor was transposed but that of Communist leader Vladimir Lenin. They say that means I owe Beck an apology along with the Anti-Defamation League and others who were also outraged by it.

John McCain is going to release a bill that would dismantle cable as it´s currently constructed, Brenden Sasso at The Hill reports. The legislation would force cable companies and satellite TV providers to give consumers an option to pick and choose which channels they get. This is called "à la carte programming," and it´s long been a dream of consumers who only want a handful of channels. McCain tried to introduce similar legislation in 2006 and it went nowhere.

The families of Navy SEALs killed in an August 2011 shoot-down of a helicopter in Afghanistan spoke at a press conference Thursday morning, citing a number of grievances, including an allegation that the Pentagon invited a Muslim cleric who “disparaged in Arabic the memory of these servicemen.” In addition to blasting the Obama administration for the mission and for an official investigation they deemed a cover-up, the families complained that “military brass, while prohibiting any mention of a Judeo-Christian God, invited a Muslim cleric to the funeral for the fallen
