The father of one of the Navy SEALs who was killed in the Libya consulate attack has criticised the White House reaction to his son's death - especially a bizarre and obscene comment Joe Biden made to him. Charles Woods, father of Tyrone Woods, said he thought Barack Obama had 'no remorse' over the attack and felt Hillary Clinton was 'not telling the truth'. And he revealed that at the ceremony for the return of Tyrone's body, the Vice President approached his family and asked, 'Did your son always have balls the size of cue balls?'
Comments: 0bama, Biden and the rest of the regime are the most vile, low class jerks ever to inhabit our White House in the history of this country. They are beyond offensive and crass. This is absolutely stunning and shocking to say such a thing to a man who just lost his son.
Biden is a witness to the courage of Tyrone Woods...he, along with Zero and Panetta literally watched his heroics and ultimately his death, via real-time video feed into the WH Situation room. All three went home and climbed into beds with their wives that night and slept soundly...
I'm stealing this from another LDotter who wrote this months ago but it was one of the best lines I've ever heard: "People said that if I voted for McCain/Palin in 2008, I'd get one of the dumbest Vice Presidents we ever had. Well I did - and they were right!"
Those of us who have watched Biden in action for decades know that he is a despicable creature.
As for Tyrone Woods's mother, the gushing FaceBook post does not square with the criticism of the Obama administration that she began registering all over online sites within a few weeks of 9/11/12. Highly critical to the point of being incensed. Something is fishy here. I can't believe a few bogus hugs could placate her, turn her around.
If one wants to know what is wrong with our goobernment, look no further than Biden. He is rude, arrogant and a complete imbecile. And he is only one of many that feel their reason for living is to make our lives worse.
''Oh c'mon folks, that's just Joe being Joe. We all know how horrible he feels about this silly 'incident'. More importantly, Romney would have asked Mr. Woods if his son carried those balls in a binder.''
Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty laid down their lives to protect Amaassador Stevens. For their bravery they should be awarded the CMH. The so called leaders who left them for dead (FOR 7 EFFING HOURS!!) are beneath contempt.
Utter disgust, the total lack of respect for these 4 men and that they gave their life for this country. The crass, vile, despicable manner of which this sorry excuse for a human being conducts himself. He is more than an embarrassment...the both of them...way more than just an embarrassment.
Every time I think this administration could not disgust me more, they prove me wrong. As repulsive as Biden's comment is, I remain even more horrifed by the photo of the President and Secretary of State (holding hands, bizarrely) standing in front of those hallowed coffins and lying. November 6 cannot arrive too soon for me. I believe it is going to be a blowout.
Hey Joe - Remember your son, Bo? How would feel in Mr. Woods' position, your son had JUST DIED BEING A HERO and some high-powered moron buffoon said those words TO YOU, about YOUR SON?!
And once again, I drop to my knees, in humility and sorrow, dissolved in tears, begging Our Lord to save us from these people and the future they have planned for us...........
They have transcended (or DEscended) beyond mere Evil. I didn't know there WAS worse than that ... but they ARE whatever it is. And we have become their toys.... to do with as they please, kick us around again and again, leaving us on the floor and lost. And not by accident.
I'm reminded of a story about a man in a convention banquet hall who gets up and wants to start his speech with a joke. He states, "Before I start, I have a joke. Are there any ladies in the room?" A man in the crowd stands up and says, "No, but there are some gentleman." My point is: We tend to be a little more crude around our own sex, but even then some things are just too crude for anyone to have to hear. Biden was speaking to the SEAL's family, so I assume the mother was there. Not good. But to even speak like this to the father is extremely crude, particularly given the fact that Biden didn't know these people and the fact of the reason they were together -- their son's death.
So vote for Obama. And get four more years of this stuff from hell. Tasteless? Insensitive? Gross? Demeaning? I used to make better jokes than that when I was 10. Biden is clearly unfit for public office. ANY public office. He should spend the rest of his life living in a shelter. Disgusting. Gut-wrenching. Vomit-inducing.
But 47% love it!
Beavis and Butt-Head as P and VP. What a combination.
Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Texas) said Monday that the Obama administration is making the United States look "like a bunch of cowards" by closing 19 embassies amid intelligence reports about possible terrorist attacks. Gohmert, guest-hosting on Sean Hannity´s radio program Monday, said the administration failed to learn from last year´s deadly attack on the U.S. mission in Benghazi, Libya, which killed four Americans. "We don´t want any more people to die," Gohmert said in response to a caller´s question. "But it brings us back to the question that [then-Secretary of State] Hillary Clinton asked, what difference does
Attorney General Eric Holder has racked up more than $4.2 million in travel expenses over four years, including $697,525 in taxpayer-provided personal trips to resort areas like Martha´s Vineyard and Atlantic City, according to documents provided to the watchdog group Judicial Watch. The records from Justice and provided to Secrets show that Holder, who is required to travel on government aircraft because of security, submitted bills of $16,452.50 to speak at Al Sharpton´s National Action Network on New York in April 2011, $38,108.18 in expenses to address the pro-immigration reform group LULAC
NBC 5 Investigates has learned the accused Fort Hood shooter Maj. Nidal Hasan receives extraordinary treatment in jail while victims of the attack argue they have been forgotten and mistreated by the U.S. Army. While a prisoner awaiting trial, Hasan is ferried by helicopter nearly every day, complete with an additional helicopter escort and security detail, for the 20-mile journey between the Bell County Jail and Fort Hood, courtesy of the United States Army and American taxpayers. The Army told NBC 5 Investigates the daily helicopter rides are necessary because the jail does not have the proper facilities
In an interview for The Guardian Weekend magazine, actor Matt Damon recently weighed in with his thoughts on how President Barack Obama has handled the scandals that have engulfed his administration since the spring. Damon, a vocal supporter of the president since his 2008 campaign for national office, said that Obama is overcompensating for his lack of military background with his tough response to controversies like how the government is responding to National Security Agency leaker Edward Snowden. The actor said that Obama is allowing himself to “get bullied” and is acting as though is “manhood”
White House press secretary Jay Carney dismissed questions Monday about whether the Obama administration had taken its eye off the threat of terrorism since the killing of Osama bin Laden. Carney said that the “president has been clear that the threat from Al Qaeda very much remains,” and said officials were particularly concerned about affiliates of the terror group outside its main “core” in Afghanistan and Pakistan. “As Al Qaeda´s core has been diminished through the efforts of the United States and our allies, affiliate organizations, including in particular,
Chelsea Clinton, the only daughter of former President Bill Clinton and former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, has learned a thing or two about how to keep the door open to a future political run. Asked on CNN about the chance she might run for office someday, she gave a statement almost identical to one she made to NBC in April. “I’m grateful to live in a city and a state and a country where I really believe in my elected officials,” she said in an interview from Rwanda on CNN. “Someday, if [that] weren’t true, and I thought
As the one year anniversary of the deadly attack on an American consulate in Benghazi approaches, journalists have begun to take another look into the scandal surrounding the government’s response to that terrorist event. Last week, CNN aired two striking reports revealing that the Central Intelligence Agency had a large number of agents on the ground on the night of the attack and that a suspect in the attack has never been interviewed by investigators. Following these revelatory reports, which some in President Barack Obama’s administration believe represent a political threat,
In an exclusive to Breitbart News, Monday morning, the Republican National Committee (RNC) announced that unless NBC and CNN dump their planned Hillary projects, the RNC will refuse to allow either network to host any 2016 primary debates (which are ratings winners and news makers). This afternoon, via Twitter, NBC News released a statement where they claimed that the NBC News division has no involvement with a project being produced by the NBC Entertainment division. The "project" is a flashy miniseries that has already cast Academy Award-nominee Diane Lane as Hillary Clinton.
In an exclusive interview for The Grio, NBCUniversal’s African-American news and opinion website, Oprah Winfrey weighed in with her unvarnished thoughts on the killing of Trayvon Martin and the acquittal of George Zimmerman. Winfrey said that, in her mind, Martin’s murder and that of Emmett Till in 1955 – whose killers were also acquitted – were the “same thing.” However, she added that it is important to keep in mind how much race relations in America have progressed over the last half-century. In a clip of the interview which aired on NBC’s Today, Oprah told The Grio’s Chris
This is no snow job: President Obama´s grassroots organization has developed a plan called ´blizzarding´ for his supporters to plow into neighborhoods and communities to sock GOP critics of Obamacare, gun control, and climate change as part of its "Action August." While other elements of Obama´s Organizing for Action are planning high-tech and expensive assaults in August on GOP lawmakers, the ´blizzarding´ strategy calls on small groups or even individuals to promote the president´s agenda with a door-to-door campaign followed by hyped up social media. In email directions to supporters, OFA said "´blizzarding´ means flyering or delivering postcards
And the award goes to Governor Chris Christie of New Jersey: New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is the “hottest” political figure in the country, according to a new temperature poll. Voters were asked to give politicians a number from 0-100 representing how they feel about that figure, with 0 being least favorable, or coldest, and 100 being most favorable, or warmest, in the new Quinnipiac survey on Monday. Christie’s mean score was 53.1, topping the heap. Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was in a close second, at 52.1 degrees, and third was Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.),
Sen. Lindsey Graham on Sunday endorsed President Obama’s move to close nearly two dozen U.S. embassies and consulates in the Middle East and Africa for the day, calling the terrorism threat behind the decision “scary.” Graham, R-S.C., said the administration’s awareness of the threats prove that the controversial surveillance by the National Security Agency is needed. Graham told CNN’s State of the Union he was recently briefed about the terrorist threat along with Vice President Joe Biden and believes the administration is making a move that takes into account the deaths of four Americans,
White House insiders say President Barack Obama is in “a funk” about what he sees as increasing stagnation and failures surrounding his second term and some worry that the President is becoming more distant and distracted. “He’s not the same Obama that came to the Oval Office after the 2008 elections,” a senior White House aided confided to friends in an email recently. “I’m worried.” Chicago Mayor and former White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel tells friends that the Presidency has changed his longtime friend Obama and many of those changes are “not good.”
In 2008 and then again in 2012, after retired four-star General Colin Powell endorsed and then voted for Barack Obama, the former Secretary of State´s sanity was already in question. At least now, after having his email account hacked by high-level security-breacher Guccifer, Colin Powell´s besmirching of the Republican Party´s "shift to the right" and "identity crisis" finally makes sense. It seems that for years the mannerly and always professional Colin Powell has been cyber-comporting with a 46-year-old Romanian European Parliament member, Social Democrat, and past spokesperson for Romanian president Ion Iliescu named Corina Cretu
Conservatives have for years attempted to put our finger upon precisely why Barack Obama strikes us as queer in precisely the way he does. There is an alienness about him, which in the fever swamps is expressed in all that ridiculous Kenyan-Muslim hokum, but his citizen-of-the-world shtick is strictly sophomore year — the great globalist does not even speak a foreign language. Obama has been called many things — radical, socialist — labels that may have him dead to rights at the phylum level but not down at his genus or species. His social circle includes
In warning about possible al Qaeda attacks against Americans overseas, U.S. officials may have provided too much detail about intercepted chatter and the source of the information, and that may make it more difficult to get such tips next time, former and current intelligence officials say.On Friday, the U.S. State Department issued a worldwide travel alert for Americans, citing an unspecified al Qaeda threat. The bulletin said that the highest threat levels are the Middle East and North Africa, “and possibly occurring in or emanating from the Arab Peninsula.”
For nearly a year, we have had no answer to why the administration lied about Benghazi — why it told the world, not to mention the parents of our murdered SEALs at the funeral of their sons, that the cause of that fatal conflagration was an anti-Islamic video no one saw, when the various arms of our executive branch (White House, State and intelligence) already knew, or strongly suspected, it was a terror attack orchestrated by al-Qaeda affiliates. You only have to read the now infamous talking points to know that. That this lie was deeply immoral is obvious.
Washington - President Barack Obama´s top national security advisers met at the White House on Saturday to discuss the potential threat of terrorist attacks that caused Washington and its allies to issue travel warnings and close embassies throughout the Middle East. The United States issued a worldwide travel alert on Friday (Snip) Obama is spending the weekend at the Camp David presidential retreat after playing golf earlier on Saturday. His birthday is Sunday. The White House said Obama had received regular briefings about the potential threat and U.S. preparedness measures all week.
Today, across Africa, Araby and Asia, from Nouakchott to Dhaka, the diplomatic facilities of the United States are closed. There’s a Tsarnaev out there, somewhere – could be the Mahgreb, the Levant, the Horn of Africa, the Indian sub-continent – who knows? So, as Richard Fernandez writes, “Shelter in place, this time globally.” Maybe it will work. Maybe by the end of the day there will be, unlike Benghazi a year on, men in custody. But if not? Daniel Pipes: Don’t know about you, but I find this pre-emptive cringing unworthy of a great country, even humiliating.
Several skills that every kid once learned in school are going the way of the dodo in a hurry. Diagramming sentences is practically an extinct art, for example. Cursive handwriting and memorized multiplication tables look to be swiftly headed that way. Apparently, the next thing that kids will no longer need to learn is spelling and grammar. Sugata Mitra, a professor of educational technology at Newcastle University in northeast England, announced that traditional language rules are out of fashion, reports the Daily Mail. Kids don’t need to waste time on those things, see. State-of-the-art computers and mobile phones can make
Common sense tells me that cops don´t need a Taser or a shotgun to subdue a 95-year-old man. When John Wrana was a young man, fit and strong and fighting in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps, did he ever think he´d end this way? Just a few weeks shy of his 96th birthday, in need of a walker to move about, cops coming through the door of his retirement home with a Taser and a shotgun.
Not only should President Obama cancel a bilateral summit with "schoolyard bully" Russian President Vladimir Putin, Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., said Sunday on "Face the Nation," but considering the country granted asylum to National Security Agency leaker Edward Snowden, U.S. allies should try to move next month´s G-20 gathering from St. Petersburg. "President Putin´s behaving like a schoolyard bully, and in my experience, I´ve learned, unless you stand up to that bully, they ask for more and more and more," Schumer said. "He´s always going out of his way, President Putin is, to seem to poke us in
I have a suggestion. How about an exhibit on Tawana Brawley? If the purpose of the new National Museum of African American History and Culture at the Smithsonian is to remember racial controversies, as the proposed Trayvon exhibit seems to confirm, then how about an honest look at the phenomenon of hate crime hoaxes? Particular attention should be paid to the role of the media in both the Trayvon and Tawana materials. Unquestionably, the media stirred up racial animus, and these incidents both contributed to raising racial tensions.
Police shot and killed an armed teen in the South Bronx early today after the suspect opened fire and refused to drop his gun, police said. Two rookie cops heard shots fired near East 151st Street and Courtlandt Avenue around 3 a.m. and ran in the direction of fire, police said. The uniformed officers saw Shaaliver Douse, 14, of the South Bronx, chasing another person through the streets, according to cops. Douse, who was arrested in May on attempted murder charges for shooting a 15-year-old, fired at the man running on East 151st Street this morning, police said.
