Today, we celebrate Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's 65th birthday. Clinton faced many critics as first lady and a presidential candidate in 2008, but she seems to have hit her stride as secretary of state. Diplomatic successes aside, Clinton has won the international crowds over with her more lighthearted moments. Whether she's abroad or at home, Hillary shines when she lets her guard down. See some of her best unscripted moments here. Long headlines must be split
Comments: The most corrupt female U.S. politician in history, she's been a doormat for two presidents and was married to one, who bought her a Senate Seat to keep her quiet. She's been involved in every Clinton scandal dating back several decades and is now up to her thighs in a major cover-up in the current Libyan debacle which she played a primary role in orchestrating. BUT, since today's her 65th birthday, ABC decides to favor us with a vomit inducing slideshow featuring Madam getting drunk and dancing with women in third world nations.
Hillary Clinton has been a dismal failure as Secretary of State, only a little better than the wretched Madeline NotBright. Everything she has done has been a disaster; the middle east is about to implode. I agree that Hillary is the most corrupt female politician. What is it that you believe she has achieved?
mmmmkay...so here's why i won't read this beyond what's posted here: --"seems to have hit her stride", uh, how so? doesn't look so much like that to me. at all. --"diplomatic successes aside", er, can you name them for me? 'cause i can't think of one. not one. --"Clinton has won the international crowds over", again, where? does throwing shoes at her motorcade mean they like her? --"Hillary shines when she lets her guard down", well she may have let her guard down, but "shining" while doing it is highly questionable.

4 Americans are DEAD because of her and this so called reporter Jilian Fama writes this garbage.
Where are the stories asking for resignation and arrest?
Telling the grieving father of one of the SEALs killed in Benghazi that they would try to prosecute the little California film maker who made the movie trailer claimed to have been the trigger for the armed Al Qaeda linked assault on the consulate, has to be a new low for Hillary.
Many harsh things can and have been said about her personally but the fact is the mission of the state department and her primary function is as the principal foreign policy adviser to the president. Under Ms. Clinton she has failed miserably. Benghazi is only the breaking point. She is not fit for the office and should be removed at once... as should her boss.
Hillary has nothing going for her. She is just gross to look at, nasty and dirty, a partisan hack, no personality, no character, no knowledge, no values and at best, sorta resembles a female human with no heart.
Can you imagine if they had mentioned that she was pregnant? It would have been sexist. Besides, not only was she the only female in the firm, she was the only Governor's wife in the firm, and her partners were among their best friends. This is a made up story. Also, she should have been thrilled that he expected her to come back to work, rather than assume she would stay home and bake cookies. This performance is disgusting.
Hillary’s ride into power was on the coattails of her husband, a professional politician (which means he is a professional liar). She was never qualified for her position and it shows in the disasters she has orchestrated under her watch. BUT... that makes her a genius within the Democrat party, right up there with Obama. It might be interesting to compare her qualifications with Obama's except Obama has his past life locked up in vault somewhere and all we have to go by is a record of voting 'present' while a senator and everything he as attempted as president, being a failure. So Hillary might just edge him out by a pig’s hair. In the end, these posers have literally ruined our nation and the blood of thousands is on their hands and Hillary is nothing but a disaster like her boss. ONE DAY...
Hillary Clinton has been and continues to be a national disaster as Secretary of State. How anyone can say otherwise is bizarre...if only in view of what she's done in Benghazi. Four men are dead and the blood is on her hands as it is on the hands of the POS we call the president and General Patraeus. I am beyond saddened by the way that Patraeus has behaved since I admired and respected him.
Even though it should be nothing to do with her skills or performance, the way she looks these days certainly reflects the sloppy manner in which she's tearing at the fiber of our country. Her dirty and greasy hair that hangs in strands, her jowly unkempt face, and her unironed and poor fitting clothes somehow are appropriate for the woman she's proven herself to be. May heaven protect us until she and the crowd with which she's thrown her lot are gone.
As we celebrate Madame Secretary's 65th birthday today, all those who feel she should spend the rest of her years of public service making license plates inside the confines of Leavenworth Federal Penitentiary, please signify by raising your right hand!
If you have to take extra pains to display and publicize your "human moments," there is a problem that even the most favorable and fawning media coverage cannot fix.
There is no denying the fact that a sizable number of people admire Hillary Clinton almost as much as she admires herself. There is something of the quality of a cult to her followers. Those on the outside, who have never liked or been impressed by her, are mystified as to what supporters see in her that excites their respect and devotion. We look, we search, but we cannot see that it is that inspires them. Indeed, many of us find Ms. Clinton morally and politically repellent, a bad example, a schemer and a climber, a poor conduit for American values and an individual of decidedly modest mental ability. We have never beheld the towering genius that her fans assure us is there.
In many ways, in very many ways indeed, her climb to public prominence and political power, as well as her personality dynamics, resembles that of Barack Obama. Neither person ever actually did anything to justify skipping to the head of the line they way they did. Neither exhibits any special ability or understanding. Both appeal to political naifs, sophomores, the under- and the over-educated, entertainers, children and to those for whom being female or being black is a category freighted with moral and metaphysical baggage. Both, of course, are narcissists with insanely overblown notions of their talents. Both are the very stuff of demagogues.
A week ago Anthony Weiner’s sexting buddy Sydney Leathers told Howard Stern she was considering an offer to do a porno. Vivid Entertainment CEO Steven Hirsch then confirmed they were the ones behind the proposed deal. “We have offered Sydney several options,” he said, “but as of now no agreement has been reached. We hope to get a deal done with her soon." America, that deal is closed. Leathers has become the latest sex scandal sensation turned porn star. Vivid posted a video interview and excerpts from the porno on its website.
When did the Clintons become the Kennedys?Just what the world needs is not one, but two movie projects on the so-called virtues of Hillary Clinton. Has Obama set the bar so low that Hillary looks like a good alternative? With left-wing Tinseltown celebs in the Clintons’ back pocket, the chances of her scandals being included in the CNN film and the NBC miniseries now in the works are slim and none. The film either will be the best example of revisionist history during our lifetime or a two-hour episode of “The Twilight Zone.”Whitewater will be whitewashed.
CENTREVILLE, Va. — A race to define Obamacare to the masses began today between the stacks at the Centreville Library. Over pizza in Decatur, Texas. And with a glass of wine in Naples, Fla. Dozens of communities around the country hosted pro-Obamacare events, convened by the president’s foot soldiers at Organizing for Action. (snip)That means gatherings like today’s in Centreville — although OFA organizers surely had something else in mind. After a scheduling snafu over the start time, a few people showed up and left before it actually started.
Michelle Obama took to Twitter on Sunday to send her husband an affectionate birthday message -- and a gentle ribbing about the US President´s graying hair. "Happy birthday, Barack! Your hair´s a little grayer, but I love you more than ever," Michelle Obama wrote on her official twitter account, @FLOTUS. The message was accompanied by an undated black and white photo of the Obamas as a young couple relaxing on a sofa. Barack Obama is spending his 52nd birthday weekend at Camp David, the rural Maryland retreat made available to US Presidents. He was to return
A video showing a woman performing a washing ritual on her pets has been branded ‘anti-Islamic’. The controversial two-minute YouTube clip features dog trainer Maznah Mohd Yusof, 38, celebrating the Eid al-Fitr festival - known as Hari Raya in Malaysia, where it was filmed - washing her dogs’ legs. It also shows Maznah walking near a mosque and feeding biscuits to her pets and appeared on the Facebook pages of several Islamic non-governmental organisations, prompting police to take action. Maznah was investigated on suspicion of causing disharmony on grounds of religion and arrested last Wednesday and taken into custody
A growing number of states are targeting what they see as a threat to their court systems: the influence of international laws. North Carolina last month became the seventh state to pass legislation barring judges from considering foreign law in their decisions, including sharia. The bill awaits the signature of Republican Gov. Pat McCrory. Six other states — Arizona, Kansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, South Dakota and Tennessee — have already enacted similar legislation since 2010, and at least 26 have introduced such measures, according to The Pew Research Center´s Religion and Public Life Project.
White House insiders say President Barack Obama is in “a funk” about what he sees as increasing stagnation and failures surrounding his second term and some worry that the President is becoming more distant and distracted. “He’s not the same Obama that came to the Oval Office after the 2008 elections,” a senior White House aided confided to friends in an email recently. “I’m worried.” Chicago Mayor and former White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel tells friends that the Presidency has changed his longtime friend Obama and many of those changes are “not good.”
WASHINGTON - President Barack Obama is kicking off his birthday weekend with a round of golf at an Air Force base outside Washington. Obama turns 52 on Sunday. The president left the White House unusually early on Saturday for the trip to Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland to squeeze in some golfing time before heading to Camp David in the afternoon. The White House said there were three golfing foursomes, including Obama friends from Hawaii and Chicago, and current and former staffers.
Jay Z would want President Barack Obama to induct him into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, he said Friday. When asked by HBO’s Bill Maher on his show “Real Time” who the rapper would want to induct him when he’s eligible in seven years, Jay Z immediately said Obama. “It’d be alright. He owes me a couple,” Jay Z said. Jay Z also got serious on the show, saying that the problem with issues such as police “stop and frisk” tactics isn’t the police — it’s the widening income gap.
Republicans, seeking to take advantage of a string of high-profile Democratic politicians´ sex scandals, are taking a page out of their rivals´ political playbook and claiming Democrats have launched a "war on women." That´s the phrase Democrats effectively used in the 2012 election, which led to an unprecedented 20 point gender voting gap, with President Barack Obama winning women voters over Republican rival Mitt Romney by 12 percent. Romney bested Obama among men by 8 percent. Democrats had knocked Republicans for candidates who made offensive remarks about abortion and rape
Lawmakers are packing up their bags to leave Washington for five weeks today, but as they get ready for the summer recess they really have nothing to celebrate. Well, unless you consider passing the 40th measure against the Affordable Care Act to be some kind of achievement. The latest pointless measure to repeal or dismantle Obamacare at least had a catchy title: Keep the IRS Off Your Health Care Act of 2013. And it was approved 232-185, with four Democrats joining Republicans in supporting the bill, reports the Hill.
BEIJING — When it comes to the love-hate, frenemy-like U.S.-China relationship, there’s been no shortage of competition. You have cyberwars, currency wars, intellectual property wars and, most recently, the tug-of-war over a certain asylum-seeking fugitive leaker. Now, add to all that a rivalry over who has the best-dressed first lady — a competition in which China was surprisingly anointed the winner this week by Vanity Fair. (snip)Peng Liyuan “sails onto the list,” as Vanity Fair put it in a photo gallery highlighting Peng’s eye for trendy-yet-stately attire. The unexpected honor had some Chinese bloggers crowing. “Peng Liyuan Upends Michelle Obama,”
In 2008 and then again in 2012, after retired four-star General Colin Powell endorsed and then voted for Barack Obama, the former Secretary of State´s sanity was already in question. At least now, after having his email account hacked by high-level security-breacher Guccifer, Colin Powell´s besmirching of the Republican Party´s "shift to the right" and "identity crisis" finally makes sense. It seems that for years the mannerly and always professional Colin Powell has been cyber-comporting with a 46-year-old Romanian European Parliament member, Social Democrat, and past spokesperson for Romanian president Ion Iliescu named Corina Cretu
Conservatives have for years attempted to put our finger upon precisely why Barack Obama strikes us as queer in precisely the way he does. There is an alienness about him, which in the fever swamps is expressed in all that ridiculous Kenyan-Muslim hokum, but his citizen-of-the-world shtick is strictly sophomore year — the great globalist does not even speak a foreign language. Obama has been called many things — radical, socialist — labels that may have him dead to rights at the phylum level but not down at his genus or species. His social circle includes
For nearly a year, we have had no answer to why the administration lied about Benghazi — why it told the world, not to mention the parents of our murdered SEALs at the funeral of their sons, that the cause of that fatal conflagration was an anti-Islamic video no one saw, when the various arms of our executive branch (White House, State and intelligence) already knew, or strongly suspected, it was a terror attack orchestrated by al-Qaeda affiliates. You only have to read the now infamous talking points to know that. That this lie was deeply immoral is obvious.
Today, across Africa, Araby and Asia, from Nouakchott to Dhaka, the diplomatic facilities of the United States are closed. There’s a Tsarnaev out there, somewhere – could be the Mahgreb, the Levant, the Horn of Africa, the Indian sub-continent – who knows? So, as Richard Fernandez writes, “Shelter in place, this time globally.” Maybe it will work. Maybe by the end of the day there will be, unlike Benghazi a year on, men in custody. But if not? Daniel Pipes: Don’t know about you, but I find this pre-emptive cringing unworthy of a great country, even humiliating.
Several skills that every kid once learned in school are going the way of the dodo in a hurry. Diagramming sentences is practically an extinct art, for example. Cursive handwriting and memorized multiplication tables look to be swiftly headed that way. Apparently, the next thing that kids will no longer need to learn is spelling and grammar. Sugata Mitra, a professor of educational technology at Newcastle University in northeast England, announced that traditional language rules are out of fashion, reports the Daily Mail. Kids don’t need to waste time on those things, see. State-of-the-art computers and mobile phones can make
Common sense tells me that cops don´t need a Taser or a shotgun to subdue a 95-year-old man. When John Wrana was a young man, fit and strong and fighting in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps, did he ever think he´d end this way? Just a few weeks shy of his 96th birthday, in need of a walker to move about, cops coming through the door of his retirement home with a Taser and a shotgun.
Not only should President Obama cancel a bilateral summit with "schoolyard bully" Russian President Vladimir Putin, Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., said Sunday on "Face the Nation," but considering the country granted asylum to National Security Agency leaker Edward Snowden, U.S. allies should try to move next month´s G-20 gathering from St. Petersburg. "President Putin´s behaving like a schoolyard bully, and in my experience, I´ve learned, unless you stand up to that bully, they ask for more and more and more," Schumer said. "He´s always going out of his way, President Putin is, to seem to poke us in
I have a suggestion. How about an exhibit on Tawana Brawley? If the purpose of the new National Museum of African American History and Culture at the Smithsonian is to remember racial controversies, as the proposed Trayvon exhibit seems to confirm, then how about an honest look at the phenomenon of hate crime hoaxes? Particular attention should be paid to the role of the media in both the Trayvon and Tawana materials. Unquestionably, the media stirred up racial animus, and these incidents both contributed to raising racial tensions.
Police shot and killed an armed teen in the South Bronx early today after the suspect opened fire and refused to drop his gun, police said. Two rookie cops heard shots fired near East 151st Street and Courtlandt Avenue around 3 a.m. and ran in the direction of fire, police said. The uniformed officers saw Shaaliver Douse, 14, of the South Bronx, chasing another person through the streets, according to cops. Douse, who was arrested in May on attempted murder charges for shooting a 15-year-old, fired at the man running on East 151st Street this morning, police said.
An odd dark vertical line that was observed in the sky over Florida earlier this week has left meteorologists puzzled. The shadowy apparition was spotted and photographed by Mike Weight at Honeymoon Island State Park near Dunedin, Florida, Wednesday. Weight was walking on the beach at around 12.30pm. The day was bright and sunny, but there were thunderheads forming to the east. ‘I was looking North when I observed what looked like a ray of dark light coming down from a small cloud to the surface of the Gulf about a half-mile away,’ the 73-year-old man wrote in an email
In an interview for The Guardian Weekend magazine, actor Matt Damon recently weighed in with his thoughts on how President Barack Obama has handled the scandals that have engulfed his administration since the spring. Damon, a vocal supporter of the president since his 2008 campaign for national office, said that Obama is overcompensating for his lack of military background with his tough response to controversies like how the government is responding to National Security Agency leaker Edward Snowden. The actor said that Obama is allowing himself to “get bullied” and is acting as though is “manhood”
Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus threatened to pull the group’s partnership with NBC and CNN for 2016 GOP presidential primary debates if the networks moved ahead with plans to air films on Hillary Clinton. “If they have not agreed to pull this programming prior to the start of the RNC’s Summer Meeting on August 14, I will seek a binding vote stating that the RNC will neither partner with these networks in 2016 primary debates nor sanction primary debates they sponsor,” Preibus said in a statement. In individual letters to CNN President Jeff Zucker and NBC Chairman Robert Greenblatt,
