U.N. Human Rights Council Calls
for Boycott of U.S. Companies

Washington Free Beacon, by Staff

Original Article

Posted By:Calvinesq, 10/25/2012 1:57:48 PM

The Washington Free Beacon has obtained a report soon to be released by the United Nations that calls for an international campaign of legal attacks and economic warfare on a group of American companies that do business in Israel, including Hewlett-Packard, Caterpillar Inc., and Motorola Solutions Inc. The Human Rights Council (HRC), a body dominated by Islamic countries and known for its hostility to, and heavy focus on, the Jewish State, issued the report. The George W. Bush administration refused to participate in the HRC, but President Barack Obama joined it soon after taking office.

Comments:
Has Obama's and Susan Rice's implicit if not explicit approval. Romney should hit him on this

Bet release of this report is delayed till after the election. Got to court the Jewish Vote even if O is the most openly anti-Israel pres we've probably had. I remain continuously amazed at how foolish people are who vote against their espoused interests.

Dying is effortless. That became clear to me as I lay on a gurney in an emergency department bay at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. It was 10 p.m., almost five hours since my primary-care physician Michael Cirigliano (better known as Dr. Mike from Fox29) diagnosed me as septic, bundled me into his car, and rushed me to the hospital. After several hours of intravenous antibiotics and four liters of fluid, my blood pressure was crashing, a hallmark of sepsis, a potentially fatal condition caused by an exaggerated immune response to injury or infection.

They had no idea what lay in store for them that fateful afternoon. Near the town of Malmedy, in Belgium, Ted Paluch and about 100 other U.S. soldiers had been overwhelmed by German forces during the Battle of the Bulge and compelled to surrender. They dropped their carbines and were herded to a field, where they expected to be taken away in trucks. What happened next turned that day into one of the darkest of World War II. The events are as vivid to Paluch now as when he lived through them nearly seven decades ago.

Only one of my six children has left New York for economic reasons but the strain of living in this expensive nanny state is weighing heavy on my other five and their families. As a native New Yorker, I´ve seen its middle class population decline over the years due to its neglect of blue collar families which is ironic since this is a Democrat city. With the recent arrests of several local politicians for corruption perhaps New Yorkers will pay more attention to those they put in office. Given their past indifference in local elections this is highly unlikely.
