| Last week, Reza Kahlili, a former Revolutionary Guard member wrote that Iran had reached a deal with the Obama Administration to preserve portions of its nuclear program. Hossain Ebrahimi told reporters yesterday that Obama sent the regime a secret message. On Saturday, the Iranian regime confirmed this report. The Iranian regime revealed on Saturday that the Obama Administration sent them a secret message through the Swiss Embassy recognizing their nuclear rights. The Swiss government, acting through its Embassy in Tehran, serves as protecting power for U.S. interests in Iran.
|
Comments: This would be unbelievable except for that microphone having picked up O's words to Medvedev last March about having more flexibility after he wins reelection. According to this report, he also apologized to Iran for having been forced by Congress to impose sanctions against them.

This is one heck of a surprise. So that is what Jarrett and Obama have been up to. Talk about throwing Israel and ourselves under the bus.

It also reeks of HillBilly when they allowed the N. Koreans to keep their nukes in exchange for food because the N. Koreans promised that they wouldn't use them for harmful purposes. I have no doubts that this admin would offer the same kind of deal with the Iranians.

Can you imagine if Roosevelt sent a secret message to Hitler that it is entitled to its nuclear rights? This is so wrong on many levels.

Some sort of bizarre peace deal with Iran wouldn't do them any good unless Obama lifted the sanctions also.Don't know how that would be received by people who aren't Obama backers who couldn't care less about the threat to Israel this would result in.

Our secret dealings with Iran apparently are real. And may already have O in a swamp. (Tar Baby can no longer be used.)
Nuclear rights could just mean peaceful reactors. That was never is dispute. But then why say it? And telling Iran you want to defy Congress but can't won't fly with Americans.
But can it get into the last debate. Half of Washington will be spinning furiously if this story can't be debunked.
The WH just bashed the NYT, they they might not be so happy to run cover again. But they will.

From the article (emphasis mine):
“. . . during the session to submit the message, the Swiss ambassador to Tehran quoted the US president as saying that ‘we (the US) recognize your nuclear rights’.”
. . . Swiss diplomat had also quoted Obama as saying that “I didn’t want to impose sanctions on your central bank but I had no options but to approve it since a Congress majority had approved the decision.”
That strikes me in the gut as treason. Will someone please put this in front of Mitt Romney’s eyes in time for the debate?

...DISGUSTED...I find myself feeling it more and more as we head up to the election...all of this may have been avoided if the press simply did their job four years ago...
...amazing how many of us could foresee this at that time. There is still so much to be exposed that most have not tuned into that will be part of the history to be written...
...and the american taxpayer will be on the hook until he leaves this world...

This is debate material. How does it get brought up? Ask Romney a question and he answers "i would do x or y but never, ever, tell a rouge regime that is trying to develop nuclear weapons with the clearly stated goals of wiping out one of our allies that they have a 'nuclear right.'"
Watch the Won do a melt down.
Get elected.

Right here: "The US letter follows threats by Iran last month to shut off the Strait of Hormoz – the world’s most important oil shipping lane – if new US and EU sanctions over its nuclear program halted Iranian oil exports."
Do you see what he's doing? He's bargaining with/begging a despot regime not to cut off our oil.
He doesn't want to be seen sending our military resources into the Straight Hormoz to keep the shipping lanes open. He knows the world runs on oil.
Not one peep out of FOX this morning about this. Why?

If it's not true, wouldn't the Swiss already be shouting it from the rooftops?
The Swiss are neutral, supposedly, in all things. They would logically be the one to carry the messages. So if it's not the truth, why wouldn't they be screaming at the top of their lungs?

WHOA, BHO is going to use this as a tool by which he wants to show us all that he is practicing "Good Foreign Polcy"?

There could be an upside to this:
1. Iran gets the nuke. 2. Obama loses and he and his gang go back to Chicago. 3. Iran launches a nuke at the USA. 4. The nuke hits Chicago and wipes it out. 5. USA, with an adult in charge, then wipes out Iran.
A win-win for America.

Anti-Christ makes secret deals with world leaders, according to the Book of Revelation, and makes a public deal with Israel. Anti-Christ then betrays Israel, making war against Israel.
Insincere "Christians" and "Jews" side with Anti-Christ. Those who remain dedicated to the true God resist the Anti-Christ.
Our God is King of kings and Lord of lords, and, according to Romans 13, those who resist Him will receive to themselves damnation. God alone is the rightful ruler, and I take Romans 13 to refer primarily to Him. Peace and prosperity and the brotherhood of man would be the rule throughout the world if people's God-given rights were respected.
As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.

Iran is not going to go out on a limb making a deal with a president who might be gone in 2013. Obama should know that. For him to offer any deal right now makes him look utterly weak and foolish in Iranian eyes; which is to say, he might very well have done so.

It's a shame that the issue of Iran's "nuclear rights" has to be debated.
It's axiomatic that Iran, by virtue of its sovereignty, has "nuclear rights."
Even the NPT explicitly acknowleges that self-evident truth when it states, in Article IV, that: "Nothing in this Treaty shall be interpreted as affecting the inalienable right of all the Parties to the Treaty to develop research, production and use of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes without discrimination and in conformity with Articles I and II of this Treaty."
That's the inconvenient truth that has to be confronted by people trying to derail Iran's nuclear program.

If obama gets elected then Israeli will need to strike the next day as nothing will stop obama from helping Iran get the weapons.

I tend not to believe anything I read two weeks before an election. I did, however, post the story at rightwinggranny.com. The thing that is important to me about this story is that it is plausible. What does that say about the Obama administration? One aspect that makes the story plausible is the off-mic comment by President Obama to Medvedev about being flexible in his second term. I think we need to do all we can to make sure that the President loses this election--for our own well being!

If this is true, and I think it may well be, what does Obama gain from taking this position..that's what scares me. Colluding with Russia and telling Iran to go ahead with nukes is NOT in the best interests of America, or the free world. There are plots and plans and financial cliffs looming out there. But I know God has His hand firmly in the mix. His Will will ultimately be done. As for no one but a few knowing about this...it will go viral on Twitter; I already did my part.

Like Carter, Obama came to office thinking "if only Americans weren't so arrogant and acting respectfully to other nations, the world would be at peace. Why should the USA decide who should and who should not be a nuclear power." What liberals (and sometimes Americans in general) do not understand is that, this isn't a conflict resolution seminar at Harvard. In his famous Cairo speech June 2009 (the sort of speech that creates war and wins Nobel Peace Prizes) the President said this, "I understand those who protest that some countries have weapons that others do not. No single nation should pick and choose which nations hold nuclear weapons. That is why I strongly reaffirmed America's commitment to seek a world in which no nations hold nuclear weapons. And any nation – including Iran – should have the right to access peaceful nuclear power if it complies with its responsibilities under the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. " Iran doesn't see this as an invitation to a peace parley. She sees it as weakness and an invitation to the nuclear bomb dance.

The Islamocommunist in our White House it's a traitor.
Because he called the obvious something else did not make it so. There was No Arab Spring...there was a turning over and an assist to the IslamoCommunists of the Mulim Brotherhood...and to their agents AlQaeda.
These are Communists and IslamoCommunists working in concert, with an assist from Obama for more "FLEXABILITY". This was the destruction of America's allies in the Middle East and elsewhere to help destroy the USA. No oil drilling so as to put us in a very precarious position for a war in the a Middle East ...nukes to Iran, to help destroy Israel...weapons to our enemies AlQaeda to arm them against our Allies, which is the true story of Benghazi--with the planned protests from a video to provide cover as they moved arms through Turkey (another former frien) to Syria for the arming of AlQaeda...to slaughter more Christians, though 30,000 have to date been savagely murdered...
Obama should be arrested with Holder and Clinton...stop quivering against their race war threats ...and take decisive action.

Libya, Egypt, Tunisia, Jordan, Syria...have all been lit on fire by the arsonist of the Middle East...Obama's Communist organisers were on the ground in Egypt and elsewhere to insure it happened...Trumpka, Stern and Leo Gerard led the way for the revolutionaries....and handed the biggest, strongest army that we built (Egypt's) over to the IslamoCommunists.
Obama has outsourced our manufacturing to China, our drilling to Brazil and others (the spill was sabotage) our tax dollars to the Federal Reserve on their way to the IMF and TARP went to prop foreign banks, not the USA....Obama has redistributed the wealth of the USA to others in the world...He took a stance at every point against freedom and liberty.
He has reduced the value of your dollar by massive printing stealing directly out of every Americans bank account, inflated the cost of food, destroyed the value of homes through his CRA schemes...he must go...and prison rather than his new 30 million dollar estate in Hawaii.

Given the lunacy of the leaders in Iran and their oft stated desire to eliminate Israel from the earth, and their push to convert the entire world to Islam, does any thinking person really believe that all Iran wants is nuclear energy for "peaceful" purposes? It's as clear as the nose on your face that if they acquire enough enriched nuclear material, it will not be long until they have bomb.
And if the Swiss were engaged in this letter swapping mess, wouldn't it be a simple thing for someone to simply call the Swiss Ambassador to Iran and ask him? I mean, the Swiss are supposed to be neutral with everybody, so what would keep them from answering a question of that importance?

Rove backstabs Akin. McCain backstabs Bachmann. Liars rule. Oil Can Harry rules. Empty establishment ruling class candidates with "insincere" Christian views, and foreign money bankrolling some of them, is what we have devolved to. Bush 1, who ran the CIA, and Bush 2, the calculating and overspending "compassionate conservative" remain silent. Palin, once the Maid of Orleans, is writing now about looking at her derriere in the mirror. Even she knows there won't be a day of reckoning for this domestic enemy, whether he wins or loses. Why? There is no adequate definition of domestic enemy, or treason, or perversion, or whatever, because there is no controlling legal authority. What there is is a future that won't belong to those who slander the prophet of allah. The surrender of our absolute truths, and so the ability to communicate in any meaningful America sense has paralyzed action. We have also booed the Creator who endows our Liberty and rules in the affairs of men. Study to show yourself approved. Contend for the Faith. Fast and Pray.

How surprising!!! zero is one politician who campaigned (2008) and campaigned and when elected fulfilled every one of his campaign promises...and then more. No one will go after impeachment. No one will charge him with treason. No one will prosecute him. Congress is useless and has been made more useless by executive orders. obama has not endorsed or supported any dem candidates because he thinks he's the king and does not need Congress. Why is any one surprised by the latest...a secret message recognizing Iran's nuclear rights? I can't get over Benghazi...and now this. He thought in heart of hearts the media would not investigate Benghazi. He went to bed and the Nevada thinking no one would question his handling of Benghazi. Surprise zippy. Unfortunately I don't think the media will run with this one.

Trial balloon, satire, or whatever: it's time to (re)read Neville Chamberlain's September 30, 1938 quote:
"We, the German Fuhrer and Chancellor, and the British Prime Minister, have had a further meeting today and are agreed in recognizing that the question of Anglo-German relations is of the first importance for our two countries and for Europe.
We regard the agreement signed last night and the Anglo-German Naval Agreement as symbolic of the desire of our two peoples never to go to war with one another again.
We are resolved that the method of consultation shall be the method adopted to deal with any other questions that may concern our two countries, and we are determined to continue our efforts to remove possible sources of difference, and thus to contribute to assure the peace of Europe.
My good friends, for the second time in our history, a British Prime Minister has returned from Germany bringing peace with honor. I believe it is "peace for our time." Go home and get a nice quiet sleep."
Scary. Downright scary. Learn history or repeat it.

commies/fascists; fascists/commies - are very much alike for sadistically treating their subjects, but one stark difference: mussolini and hitler were fighting for their homelands. lenin/stalin and mao were willing to lose the international battle: russia in 1918 signed the peace treaty with germans giving away pieces of Russian Empire, and mao didn't fight japanese army in the 1940s, letting Chiang Kai-shek do the fighting and preserving his commie army and then defeating Chiang Kai-shek. What a nice patriot! Nothing amazes me anymore! I'll say it again: they are sick sadists, nothing moral and conscientious about them!

While extending the payroll tax cut through the end of last year, members of Congress last fall took what many feel was a long overdue whack at the cost of their retirement plan. They bumped up the rate at which federal employees contribute to their pension plan, saving an estimated $15 billion over the next 11 years. They also made sure that none of the increase applied to themselves. Anyone in service before the law went into effect would pay into the pension plan at the old rate. Mindful of the repeated rounds of cuts the military has already endured, Gen. Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs, recently delivered a grim warning: "If you want [the military] to be doing what it´s doing today, then we can´t give you another dollar." His worries reflect reductions that started in 2009 and have reached crippling levels, even in President Obama´s proposals to avert sequestration. I take the general at his word, but I am concerned that the president does not. Sequester hurts national security, not just because 50% of the cuts fall on the military´s 18% share of the overall

President Obama´s biggest gaffe yesterday when speaking of California Attorney General Kamala Harris was not in flirtatiously complimenting her as "the best-looking attorney general," but in introducing an observation from the system of beauty into a forum that was about the system of power. What´s that, you say? Irin Carmon does a great job in Salon in laying out the bounds of propriety for when it´s appropriate to talk about a woman´s looks as a general matter. But I´ve long felt we lack a solid theoretical underpinning for easily discussing these issues, and why precisely it is that
