| The Iranian regime seems to have a rooting interest in the upcoming U.S. presidential election, according to a review of online writers and bloggers in Iran. "Many in Iran are concerned that a Republican win means war,” an engineering student from Tehran named Sharhad blogged on Saturday. “The regime has plastered footage from war-torn Afghanistan and Iraq all over state TV, warning the people that this is what our country will look like if a Republican takes over in the U.S,” he wrote. "If there's a victory for President Obama, the 5+1 countries as well as the United States

Comments: The DemocRATs, and especially Biden in the VP debate, have been trying to give us the idea that Romney will go to "war" with Iran as in the recent ground war in Iraq. When Iran gets hit (and it will) it will be stragic strikes and large bombs from the air with little, if any, boots on the ground and will be over in a matter of days. 0bama & Co. know this, but just can't resist pushing this "war" scenario to hide their fecklessness and paint Romney as a warmonger.

That is quite a list of endorsements that Obama has racked up- Hugo Chavez, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Honey Boo Boo, Louis Farrakhan, Rosie O'Donnell, Bill Maher, etc, etc. If you are the typical hard working American, there is a message in all of that.

But War -- Still not likely.

OP - if there is a war, I would not bet on it being over quickly. There is no doubt that Iran has built significant amounts of underground infrastructure, and while an air campaign and surgical strikes can destroy, slow down, and eliminate military assets, the government would likely move into an immediate command and control from these underground lairs (remember Beirut in the last Israeli/Hezbollah war?)
They no doubt would by now tried to place military assets here in the US and US interests around the world in the form of terrorist cells and or even Revolutionary Guards assets.
Unless we have assets in place within these bunkers or have heavy enough bunker bombs to destroy them, it will drag on.

What is the adage that character is judged by the company you keep. Well, first look at those with Obama associates. Then, look at what countries/regimes are quietly endorsing him.
The enemies of the US know very well that a win by BO means that they can run amuck all over the world and that a win by Romney means that they have to stand down.
A BO win will unleash chaos in the ME, Africa and Asia like we have never seen. The despots know this by witnessing the abundance of foreign aid given by the US to Egypt, Libya and Pakistan after the "revolutions" and take over by the MB and al-Queda. BO is their patsy and they know that they can extract anything they want from this idiot with lies and deception.
Frankly, I do not think he cares...he just wants to remain in office for all the perks. He just likes to fly AF-1 to locales where he can give teleprompter speeches to fawning and fainting entitlement masses.
If Romney wins, the stench of the disaster that BO will leave in his wake will require efforts that go way beyond any recovery our nation has experienced. Romney, clearly is the only one who can tackle this.

DETROIT -- A Detroit professor and legal adviser to the Vatican says Catholics who promote gay marriage should not try to receive holy Communion, a key part of Catholic identity. And the archbishop of Detroit, Allen Vigneron, said Sunday that Catholics who receive Communion while advocating gay marriage would "logically bring shame for a double-dealing that is not unlike perjury." The comments of Vigneron and Edward Peters, who teaches Catholic canon law at Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit, are part of a polarizing discussion about gay marriage

The U.S. has been denied direct access to the only publicly known suspect in custody in connection with the Benghazi terror attack, Fox News has learned, with U.S. interrogators still unable to sit in the same room as the Egypt-held prisoner to ask questions. Abu Ahmed, also known as Mohammed Jamal, is suspected of establishing Islamist training camps in Eastern Libya where militants who took part in the Sept. 11 Benghazi terrorist attack were able to train. Ahmed is not suspected of directly taking part in the attack which left four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens, dead.

For the past five months, the Republican message on foreign policy message has been defined by a single word: Benghazi. Ever since the deadly September 11 attack on the U.S. compound in that Libyan city, Republicans have obsessed over the episode. Mitt Romney made Benghazi a favorite talking point in the 2012 campaign home stretch. More recently, Republicans have invoked Benghazi to shoot down one would-be cabinet nominee, Susan Rice, and delay two others, Chuck Hagel and John Brennan. They have dragged a parade of administration officials, including Hillary Clinton

Kunkle said she had a conversation the day after Election Day that indicated she voted for Obama. She was fired three days later.

TIMBUKTU, Mali - One of the last things the bearded fighters did before leaving this city was to drive to the market where traders lay their carpets out in the sand. The al-Qaida extremists bypassed the brightly-colored, high-end synthetic floor coverings and stopped their pickup truck in front of a man selling more modest mats woven from desert grass, priced at $1.40 apiece. There they bought two bales of 25 mats each, and asked him to bundle them on top of the car, along with a stack of sticks.

Michelle Obama has admitted that she is already tired of the bangs she first sported in January. The First Lady said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight: ´Bangs are a day-by-day proposition. They´re starting to grow out, get a little irritating.´ Still, she hasn´t let her hairdo woes get her down. ´It´s okay,´ she said after her initial complaint. ´We´ll be good.´ The first indication that her hairstyle was becoming a burden came about last weekend, when Malia, 14, was spotted adjusting her mother´s hair during the White House Easter Egg Roll.

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. This begs the question, “Why are we losing our religion?”

Ms. Smith first relayed how her son, prior to the attack, requested additional security in advance and warned the State Department: He did tell them, ahead of time, he typed it into his little typewriter over there,

Put out an all-points bulletin: Millions of Americans have gone missing from the workforce. Every month that those would-be workers are gone raises the odds that they might never come back, dimming the prospects for future economic growth. The vanishing trend is more than a decade old, but it accelerated during the Great Recession. Throughout 2012, economists held out hope that it had stopped. But then came Friday’s jobs report, and hopes were dashed. The Labor Department reported that the U.S. labor force — everyone who has a job or is looking for one — shrank

Gluten-free diets are all the rage, but they can be dangerous if not done right. What is gluten? It´s the spongy complex of proteins, found naturally in wheat, rye, and barley, that gives elasticity to dough and allows it to rise. When flour is moistened and either kneaded or mixed into dough, gluten molecules form an elastic, microscopic latticework that traps the carbon dioxide produced when yeast ferments, causing dough to inflate like a hot air balloon. Baking hardens the gluten, which helps the finished product keep its shape. Wheat — and gluten — is ubiquitous in the American diet.
