BENGHAZI: Documents show
Stevens worried about

Fox News, by James Rosen

Across 166 pages of internal State Department documents – released today by a pair of Republican congressmen pressing the Obama administration for more answers on the Benghazi terrorist attack – slain U.S. Ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens and the security officers assigned to protect him repeatedly sounded alarms to their superiors in Washington about the intensifying lawlessness and violence in Eastern Libya, where Stevens ultimately died. On September 11 – the day Stevens and three other Americans were killed – the ambassador signed a three-page cable, labeled “sensitive,” in which he noted “growing problems

How will 0bama try to spin his way out of this devastating report? No wonder they hate Fox News. They are doing truly excellent reporting on this.

You MUST read these cables from Benghazi. They are devastating. The Chicago amateurs crossed the wrong people.

Near the bottom of the article:

''In a letter to President Obama, dated October 19 and accompanied by the documents, the lawmakers faulted the administration both for providing inadequate security before 9/11, and for allegedly obfuscating the nature of the events on 9/11.''

It's out, an October surprise wrapped in a big, red ribbon.

How can anyone ignore this?

On September 11 – the day Stevens and three other Americans were killed – the ambassador signed a three-page cable, labeled “sensitive,” in which he noted “growing problems with security” in Benghazi and “growing frustration” on the part of local residents with Libyan police and security forces. These forces the ambassador characterized as “too weak to keep the country secure.”

In the document, Stevens also cited a meeting he had held two days earlier with local militia commanders. These men boasted to Stevens of exercising “control” over the Libyan Armed Forces, and threatened that if the U.S.-backed candidate for prime minister were to prevail in Libya’s internal political jockeying, “they would not continue to guarantee security in Benghazi.”

Criminal.

Article goes on to detail his previous communiques about the worsening situation - and this in a country he had long known and loved.

Obie (ValJar?) wanted Libya to look normal. Happy campers enjoying their new "freedom".

The beefing up of security would spoil the image as word went out from the locals working security at the consulate to their families, etc., in the area. No, they needed the image of "normalization", achieved by sending security personnel home.

Never mind that everyone on the ground in Libya was saying "it's bad out here and growing worse - don't take our security - we need more, not less!!!!"

Political image in a presidential campaign trumped security for our citizens who had been sent to Libya. This is criminal.

#17, and no doubt everyone posting on this, i share the same emotion. And deep anger...

...anger that officials of the BO regime had and have so little regard for the lives of Americans in Libya (or anywhere else, for that matter, including right here)...

BO, as all marxistic types, has no respect for lives which are expendable when "the cause" demands their sacrifice. This is why there can be more than 100 million victims of communism over 70 years, unbelievable suffering, with NOT ONE WORD of regret or apology from the advocates of this stupid utopian scheme.

John Bolton says that BO is not ignorant, he is not incompetent. What we are seeing are the consequences of his ideology, played out on the world stage.

Bolton endorsed Romney during the Primaries. I HOPE HOPE HOPE that he is advising him now. Romney must know that a vast number of Americans are being deliberately kept ignorant. He must shine the light of truth on this grotesquerie.

The truth must be made stark and clear.

Tonight a special report on Benghazi on FOX.

Are we missing the point on Benghazi?
Obama claimed that on SUN in the Rose Garden he referred to "an act of terror." The OBVIOUS questio then should have been, "WHO told you that? Where did you get that information? When you are usually so ubercautious about a rush to judgment about terrorism, WHAT led you to IMMEDIATELY declare the Benghazi assault an "act of terror?"
Unfortunately, NOBODY ever asked that Obama that question! Instead, Rush et al went down another path, which was to insist that Obama was referring to 9/11/2011, which frankly is unclear, judging from his words alone. And then to go on about Susan Rice, etc. Obama has culpable deniability about any of that: the size of the bureaucracy...
TODAY, we learn that the intelligence station chief told "Washington" WITHIN 24 HOURS of the attack that it was terror-related? WHO is "Washington?" This is worded specifically so that Obama can argue his Benghazi response either way: that he KNEW or that the word just didn't get to him.
Not only has Hillary fallen on her sword, but now the intelligence station chief as well---by providing Obama with cover so he can claim that the Rose Garden reference to "acts of terror" was BASED ON verifiable intelligence reports given to him within 24 hours or the incident.
Is Obama constructing a careful backstory here and are we walking right into a trap?

They´re starting to grow out, get a little irritating.´ Still, she hasn´t let her hairdo woes get her down. ´It´s okay,´ she said after her initial complaint. ´We´ll be good.´ The first indication that her hairstyle was becoming a burden came about last weekend, when Malia, 14, was spotted adjusting her mother´s hair during the White House Easter Egg Roll.

North Korea’s young leader Kim Jong-un is waiting for United States President Barack Obama to make a phone call to Pyongyang to discuss easing tensions on the Korean peninsula, according to Russia’s news agency Itar-Tass. The report cited United Kingdom diplomats, saying Pyongyang was demanding the U.S. president personally call Kim Jong-un as one of the conditions to relieve the current conflict at hand. Itar-Tass also quoted the U.K.’s Sky News as saying North Korea currently has eight nuclear warheads.

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. This begs the question, “Why are we losing our religion?”

Los Angeles — Some people have had it with TV. They´ve had enough of the 100-plus channel universe. They don´t like timing their lives around network show schedules. They´re tired of $100-plus monthly bills. A growing number of them have stopped paying for cable and satellite TV service, and don´t even use an antenna to get free signals over the air. (Snip) Last month, the Nielsen Co. started labeling people in this group "Zero TV" households, because they fall outside the traditional definition of a TV home. There are 5 million of these residences in the U.S., up from

She was 70. Funicello, who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1987 and became a spokeswoman for treatment of the chronic, often-debilitating disease of the central nervous system, died at Mercy Southwest Hospital in Bakersfield, Walt Disney Co. spokesman Howard Green said. More than 700 Special Operations veterans are urging members of Congress to back a select committee to investigate last year’s Benghazi terrorist attack, according to a letter first obtained by Fox News. The letter from the group, “Special Operations Speaks,” supports the appointment of a special committee tasked with the single mission of investigating the attack that left Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans dead, and shut down the CIA operation in an annex of the Benghazi consulate, in the Sept. 11, 2012 attack. “Congress must show some leadership and provide answers to the public

Chelsea Clinton has raised her profile in the last few days, which sparked the inevitable question about the former first daughter´s future: Will she ever be like Mom and Dad and run for office? Clinton, 33, essentially said "maybe" in an interview that aired Monday on NBC´s Today show. "Right now I´m grateful to live in a city, a state and a country where I strongly support my mayor, my governor, my president and my senators and my representative," said Clinton, whose father, Bill, was president from 1993-2001 and her mother, Hillary

Susan Patton, the Princeton alumna who became famous for her letter urging Ivy League women to use their college years to find a mate, has been denounced as a traitor to feminism, to coeducation, to the university ideal. But really she’s something much more interesting: a traitor to her class. Her betrayal consists of being gauche enough to acknowledge publicly a truth that everyone who’s come up through Ivy League culture knows intuitively —

President Barack Obama is bringing 11 relatives of those killed in the shooting at Connecticut´s Sandy Hook Elementary School to Washington on Air Force One on Monday so they can personally encourage senators to back gun legislation that faces tough opposition. There was growing buzz over the weekend that a bipartisan agreement on gun control — a deal that would expand background checks — could hit the floor as early as this week. However, any deal could be derailed by the looming threat of a Republican filibuster involving Texas Sen. Ted Cruz. With Cruz standing proudly in the way of any gun legislation, Democrats are trying to make him pay a political price — and even a couple of high-profile Republicans are questioning his tactics.
