| WASHINGTON — The CIA station chief in Libya reported to Washington within 24 hours of last month's deadly attack on the U.S. Consulate that there was evidence it was carried out by militants, not a spontaneous mob upset about an American-made video ridiculing Islam's Prophet Muhammad, U.S. officials have told The Associated Press. It is unclear who, if anyone, saw the cable outside the CIA at that point and how high up in the agency the information went. The Obama administration maintained publicly for a week that the attack on the diplomatic mission in Benghazi that killed U.S.

The CIA and the Intel community will not go quietly under the bus. These people play chess several moves ahead. Barky's people can't even remember the lies they told yesterday.
Mitt will win this election because of the millions of voters who feel the need of a hot, soapy shower after having slept with these despicable low-life hoes.

The Benghazi Bullshirter is on the ropes with this one. The knee-pad media can only cover up so much then even they are outta here and the CIA is not about to fall on a sword because of this short attention span, disinterested, golfing, vacationing, partying poseur that missed too many security briefings!

0bama and Hillary are such frauds. A day after the Terrorist Attack, the CIA found militant links. Yet, when Hillary sent in a team to investigate, she sent the FBI who did not get to Benghazi until three weeks later, as the FBI did not feel it safe enough to enter the city and investigate. It made me puke when 0bama at the last debate puffed out his chest and loudly proclaimed, "We will find the people who did this, and we will punish them." Who does he think he is kidding, it is weeks and weeks later, and if he did nothing in the first week, why would any person believe him?

The question the MSM is asking is "What did Romney know and when did he know it"? Voting on Nov 6 is the only answer if you want your country back.

AP article is written to imply that we determined it was a terrorist attack AFTER the fact rather than as the culmination of terrorists attacks against US and British missions. Benghazi has been a recruiting center for jihadists fighters in Iraq for 6 to 8 years. The armed overthrow of Qaddafi began in Benghazi. There were enough terror attacks preceding 9/11/12 to frighten Ambassador Stevens about traveling to the city. Finally, the US security detachment withdrawn in August wanted to remain on site for fear of future attacks. The 4 deaths were the result of Obama's policies in Libya and BO's failure to protect US citizens sent there.

I think the Obama administration likes all this bickering over the timeline because it distracts from the real issue which is the rise of alQueda on his watch.
I think who-said-what-when is a losing argument for a debate. Romney should just firmly state that the administration was giving conflicting statements about what we all agree now was a pre-planned 9/11 terroist attack by an alQueda organization. Go on to point out that Obama added to the confusion by never clearly addressing the questions with a press conference. Instead he continued campaigning and had interviews with Letterman and Univision. A president should speak directly to the American people in a clear manner.
Then Romney should talk about how alQueda is not on its heals as the president tells us but is regrouping and growing. Then if he connects that to Obama's failed policies, it will be a knock out punch.

The phony unemployment numbers are too little and too late. Most folks are seeing through the fraud.
The racism and blaming Bush ploys are past their sell-by dates and are starting to stink.
Oblamer has now dissed the intelligence community, and they are responding by letting info like this out. It is so bad that the obamedia whores can no longer ignore it.
The polls are shifting because the polling commpanies know they had better start sampling and reporting more accurately or their future business opportunities will diminish.
obumbler has done poorly in the debates, and people are seeing a Romney outside of the distortion of the media and obumbler campaign propaganda and discovering that he really isn't a horned devil after all.
Even "news"papers in big cities that almost always endorse the "D" candidate are turning on him.
All of the little holes in the dike are getting bigger, and pretty soon the whole thing will give way. Buh-bye, and good riddence!

What utter nonsense
There would be no "Benghazi Attack" to spin if ...
There were armed Marines guarding US territory and US citizens in a war zone that the Obama Administration recently created by funding Jihadists, Al-Queda and G-d knows who else.
This is all spin to distract from the bone-deep truth - THERE WERE NO MARINES IN AN ISLAMIC COUNTRY FULL OF JIHADISTS

Oh, and here's one. Ask yourself: if you were THE head of the Marines, would you allow a SINGLE ONE of your men to be deployed anywhere in the middle east as a guard without ammunition in his weapon? Even if State demanded it? Both the Secratary of State and the President should wet themselves with dread at the mere thought of the response they would receive for even suggesting that you give that order.

Poster #18 is correct. Romney needs to point out to the American people a clear path of who, what, and when of what was said. Then point out that contrary to what Obozo has been telling everybody, that alQueda is NOT on the run, but rather, on the rise. And becomming more dangerous and deadly all the time.
And I wouldn't put it past him, but I get the feeling that General Petraeus himself just might be behind this "leak" about their findings so soon after the attack.

#33 In light of “Fast & Furious”, Obama’s desire to try terrorists in open Court, his campaign’s refusal to screen for or prevent illegal foreign credit card contributions, etc., that FR story, “Two SEALS Ruin October Surprise” that you provided the link to is not only plausible, it rings true.
In light of the sworn testimony that Charlene Lamb, a top State Department official, gave before Congress that she was in real-time communication with the Benghazi Consulate during the entire 5-6 hour long attack, several leaks from within the Intelligence community, and WH records showing that Obama actually attended his daily security briefings during the aftermath of the 9/11 attack, it is impossible to believe the WH’s claim that the statements by Obama and other members of his Administration for 2 weeks - that tied the attack to a protest over some months-old YouTube video - were based on the briefings they were receiving. No ring of truth whatsoever.

FTA: "It is unclear who, if anyone, saw the cable outside the CIA at that point and how high up in the agency the information went."
The Chief of Station is to the Director of Central Intelligence what the Ambassador is to the President, i.e., the CIA's representative in a foreign country. So if the COS sent a cable to CIA Headquarters on something of this magnitude, it would most likely been sent as an immediate cable but quite possibly at an even even higher precedence, especially if it came in after hours. If the latter case, someone would have been called in to Langley, even in the middle of the night.
And since, according to the article, the information "reached intelligence agencies in Washington the next day", I find it incredulous that 0bama and Clinton weren't informed sooner rather than later, analysts notwithstanding. We're talking about the assassination of an Ambassador and three other diplomats on September 11. This should have kept the President (and the Secretary of State) up all night.
Bottom line, 0bama and his whole Administration are flat out lying to the American people, from Jay Carney to Susan Rice.
(Note also that FTA the briefing points refer to "extremists"; this, no doubt, due to the Administration's policy to not call them what they are, that is, terrorists.)

I hope everyone checks out #33 links, especially the last one. The heroism of the two SEALS was amazing: rescuing 20 embassy personnel and holding off 200 Al-Qaeda for hours. They WERE NOT part of the Ambassador's protection detail, but rode to the rescue like American heroes do. They could have ignored the attack, but they didn't. Why isn't that well known? The description of a SEAL funeral will break your heart.
Thanks to #33 for posting.

One of the first political issues negotiators must tackle in crafting an immigration reform bill is among the most important: what to name it. It’s a decision that will bruise egos, create legacies and deeply affect subsequent messaging battles. “Every time the bill is mentioned in the press, you either have a brand that´s positive or a brand that doesn´t mean anything or even hurts you,” said Frank Sharry, the executive director of the pro-immigration reform group America’s Voice. The wrong name, he warned, could doom a good bill. “If there´s not a

The murder trial of abortionist Kermit Gosnell largely is being ignored by the mainstream media, even in the face of grisly testimony, such as what we heard yesterday. Life News reports: ...a former employee described how she heard a baby scream during a live-birth abortion. Abortion clinic employee Sherry West described an incident which "really freaked (her) out" and related to the jury how she heard a child who was born alive following an abortion scream.

HARTFORD, Conn. -- With time running out on the chance to pass gun control legislation, President Barack Obama on Monday warned Congress not to use delaying tactics against tighter regulations and told families of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting victims that he´s "determined as ever" to honor their children with tougher laws. Obama´s gun control proposals have run into resistance on Capitol Hill, leaving their fate in doubt. Efforts by Senate Democrats to reach compromise with Republicans over expanding required federal background checks have yet to yield an agreement, and conservatives were promising to try

Beginning a week of high pressure on gun control, the White House on Monday accused some Republican senators of cowardice for planning to filibuster gun legislation without allowing the full Senate to vote on President Obama’s initiatives. “If they oppose this legislation, have the courage to say so on the floor and vote no,” said White House press secretary Jay Carney. “Don’t block it. Don’t hide behind a procedural action to prevent a vote. That’s the wrong thing to do, and that’s how the president clearly feels.”

Chelsea Clinton has raised her profile in the last few days, which sparked the inevitable question about the former first daughter´s future: Will she ever be like Mom and Dad and run for office? Clinton, 33, essentially said "maybe" in an interview that aired Monday on NBC´s Today show. "Right now I´m grateful to live in a city, a state and a country where I strongly support my mayor, my governor, my president and my senators and my representative," said Clinton, whose father, Bill, was president from 1993-2001 and her mother, Hillary

More than 700 Special Operations veterans are urging members of Congress to back a select committee to investigate last year’s Benghazi terrorist attack, according to a letter first obtained by Fox News. The letter from the group, “Special Operations Speaks,” supports the appointment of a special committee tasked with the single mission of investigating the attack that left Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans dead, and shut down the CIA operation in an annex of the Benghazi consulate, in the Sept. 11, 2012 attack. “Congress must show some leadership and provide answers to the public

There was growing buzz over the weekend that a bipartisan agreement on gun control — a deal that would expand background checks — could hit the floor as early as this week. However, any deal could be derailed by the looming threat of a Republican filibuster involving Texas Sen. Ted Cruz. With Cruz standing proudly in the way of any gun legislation, Democrats are trying to make him pay a political price — and even a couple of high-profile Republicans are questioning his tactics.

The case of a same-sex Connecticut couple accused of repeatedly raping and abusing two of their nine adopted boys is headed for trial. Married couple George Harasz and Douglas Wirth of Glastonbury were supposed to be sentenced Friday in Hartford Superior Court under a plea deal, but instead withdrew from their agreement with prosecutors. More than six months since Ambassador Christopher Stevens was assassinated by terrorists in Benghazi, the Obama administration is still trying to keep a lid on information about the attack. Congress and the American people need to know what happened the night of Sept. 11, 2012. Who did the killing and what was their motive? Why wasn´t help sent? And why did the administration lie about who was responsible? Members of Congress have asked hundreds of questions at hearings conducted by several investigative committees, but many of the most significant have been left unanswered. Information detailing what happened before, during and Headline corrected.
