All of her questions were a setup. While some believe Obit knew the questions in advance, I have a different opinion. I believe Crowley tailored the questions to his stump speech and talking points. He was in safe territory regardless of which of the questions was asked.

His giveaway? Asking her for the transcript when Romney challenged him on his Rose Garden remarks. He knew she had it with her.

This debate gets more and more curious all the time. I'd love to see a true deconstruction, with difinitive answers (as far as is possible) to questions like,

1. Did Crowley visit the WH beforehand? How long? Who did she meet with? How common is the practice? How much of what a fly on the wall would have heard can be put back together?

2. Did she have a transcript of the Rose Garden remarks, and why? If so, how did the president know to ask for it? If not, what was with the paper waving?

3. Was the heads up responsible for Obama's "Proceed, governor" (as in, "You go on down there, General Custer"), for his quick pick up of "Kerry" (a cue?), for his confident stroll up to Crowley, for his calling for the transcript, for Michelle's applause putting an exclamation point on it to move on?

4. What can be known about the makeup of this "town hall"? I heard on Boortz that the equal pay questioner was a Code Pink gal. Someone with Code Pink creds not only gets in, but her question gets picked? C'mon, man.

This whole thing is tailormade for someone like Cashill, with the resources and time to ferret out the truth. Let's see how this sausage was made.

As much of a set-up as asking Romney to compare himself to George Bush without asking Obama to compare himself to Jimmy Carter.
That line of questioning allowed Empty Chair to spit out a prepared speech, once again blaming Bush for everything.
George Bush is not running for President.

As soon as O said, "Please proceed, Governor," my radar started squawking. That sounded smug and rehearsed. I now believe it was.

Obviously it was staged; not only did Crowley have the transcript in her hand and knew he'd ask for it, but Ø himself walked directly to Kerry before he (Kerry) had even been called upon. Watch the video just after the one-hour mark.

Crowley never made Obama answer the real question that was asked. She let him get away with the rehearsed answer he had to any question about Libia. The question was,"Who was responsible for turning down the request for more security?" That question was never answered. Maybe they will have to answer it at the next debate.
