Moderator Candy Crowley talks
about debate on 'The View'

Entertainment Weekly, by Erin Strecker

Original Article

After handling Gov. Mitt Romney and President Barack Obama last night, the five ladies of The View were easy for CNN’s Candy Crowley. Crowley stopped by the show this morning to discuss the debate. Right away, Barbara Walters asked her about one of the discussion’s buzziest moments, when Mitt Romney was making a point about when the administration labeled the Libya attacks terror attacks, and Obama said it was the day after. Romney disputed this, and Crowley jumped in to agree with the President – you can watch the whole exchange here. Today, Crowley said she understood some people

From Maine to California, from Bangor to Burbank, it was all too clear that Romney was "debating" both Obama and Crowley.. the Democrat Tag Team!

Did The View need a separate couch for Crowley?

Why did she have a copy of Obama's Rose Garden comments in front of her? Sounds rehearsed.

#4 Definitely the convenient "transcript" exchange was a setup. What other papers did Crowley have with her?

In a lot of business situations and in legal proceedings it is customary for a third party to disclose information that could show bias or influence in the matter. This should apply in this case.

FWIW, I emailed CNN explaining that I never watch their propaganda and watch CC last night only confirmed to me that my choice to watch news organizations and not CNN's propaganda was correct. Naturally haven't heard a word from them.

HAS ANYONE ASKED WHY SHE HAD THIS TRANSCRIPT?

Should the debate council be put on notice that they should INVESTIGATE THIS?

I don't know how many of you caught it, but I was stunned to hear Candy say "sit down, Mr. Romney"! HOW DARE SHE talk to him like that. I hope he NEVER gives her an interview when he becomes president. That was SO disrespectful for a TV commentator to speak to a PRESIDENTIAL nominee in that tone!

She knew the questions, as a matter of fact I think she selected the questions from a pool of questions, BUT: She must have known the president was going to use THAT SPEECH as his excuse.

This is sickening.

Back on September 28th, Crowley was saying that the Obama administration needed to explain why they didn’t call what happened in Libya a terrorist attack. The CNN transcript tells all:

The question I think too is what you asked and Peter King wouldn’t play, but the idea is why would you be so adamant? When most people look and said, well of course it’s a terrorist attack. I mean, they had you know large weaponry. It’s not something you bring to a protest. And now we’re finding out there might not even have been a protest at the time this attack took place. So I think there are lots of questions to be answered here that the administration is going to have to talk about.

An absolutely despicable performance, that was orchestrated with the President. She had prearranged the signal from him - clearly. Why did she have the transcript at hand? I may be cynical but Barry was ready for every question. I would guess he traded her access to the briefing room, just like Woodward, when he does his October surprise bombing of Libya.

Interesting to note by the headline, though, that Crowley has to 'make the rounds' so other leftists can applaud her performance as part of the Obama team which debated Mitt Romney. Will Letterman be next? Matthews?

There are only two lefty ones on the front page, and one of them says that he's been tired of fighting Republicans on their complaints of liberal bias but Crowely made their point for them last night. I was under the impression Candy C. said she would select the questions but the ones asking would not know in advance to her calling on them. Surely I didn't dream this info. Anyway, the first--the college student--Jeremy talked with nbc new york and commented:
"He said on MSNBC that the experience of being the first questioner made him a bit nervous. In the hours before the debate, he said he had "plenty of time to think, 'OK don't mess up, try to speak eloquently. Don't seem nervous. Don't embarrass the family".

Pre-selected, pre-planned questions? Why do I wonder if Candy Crowley was responsible for writing all of these questions with her "team" and then selected people to read her questions? Would explain the Rose Garden transcript.

A few years after the assassination of President John F.
