Morgan Freeman Narrates Obama Ad:
'Every President Inherits Challenges -
Few Have Faced So Many'

NewsBusters, by Noel Sheppard

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 10/13/2012 9:52:26 PM

The Obama campaign released a new ad Saturday, this one narrated by Oscar-winning actor Morgan Freeman. It began, "Every president inherits challenges. Few have faced so many" (video follows with transcript and commentary): Every president inherits challenges. Few have faced so many. Four years later, our enemies have been brought to justice. Our heroes are coming home. Assembly lines are humming again. There are still challenges to meet, children to educate, a middle class to rebuild, but the last thing we should do is turn back now. Few have faced so many? George W. Bush faced less

Comments:
How in the world did these fools get so twisted and myopic when it comes to the worthless, incompetent 0bama. It just stuns me.

Gosh and I used to like Morgan.. Sad, he has done some nice work and I don't think he is stupid. There are so many. I just can not
bring myself to spend my money on their movies.

Saw Atlas Shrugged II on Friday. No one could believe how prescient Ayn was. Eerie!
I also had trouble understanding how Apple (run by a near communist) would allow their logo to be used (laptops).

Reagan faced greater challenges--and then conquered them. Obama? He passed the buck to GWB.

Since his shocking election victory (given the fact that he was totally unqualified), a number of my fellow Blacks have laughed hysterically when I posit that Morgan Freeman is the reason Zero got such an overwhelming White vote...he has a great voice, is calm, and has played the president, CIA Director, and even God in movie roles...think we had a politician playing an actor...

What a load of scheisse, and I particularly liked the line about how our "factories are humming again."

If the criteria is what benefits and strengthens America Marxist/Muslim Obama is a miserable failure at everything he has turned his hand to, and as between incompetence and malicious ideology as an explanation, I vote for ideology as the reason for his studied and consistent failure.

Barack Obama either knew exactly what he was volunteering for, or hadn't a clue. If no clue he should be fired for incompetence, if he knew and couldn't fix things then he should be fired for incompetence. Either way he needs to go home to Chicago, Hawaii, or Marthas Vineyard, wherever he wants to hole up, and leave the political scene to the grownups.

MF on Piers Morgan's show 2011, on the Tea Party --

Freeman: "It is a racist thing...[The rise of the Tea Party] shows the weak, dark underside of America. We're supposed to be better than that. We really are. That's why all those people were in tears when Obama was elected president. 'Ah look at what we are–this is America.' Then it just sort of started turning because these people surfaced–like stirring up muddy water."

Another movie actor that has poor marketing savvy. I can't imagine what my business would be like if I said publicly the kinds of things actors say. I would ose roughly 50% of my customers if I were to tell them that they are stupid, hateful racists because they don;t agree with me. Actually, I would lose more than that, but I'm not counting.

Hollywood is losing money and they are baffled by it! Faith based and feel good family movies are making a killing and Hollywood can't believe it. Then along comes Lawrence Fishburn, Sean Penn, Matt Damon, Susan Saranden, and others like Morgan Freeman telling half the country that they are stupid, or racist, or hateful and Hollywood beats their heads against their Hollywood sidewalk stars and wonder why people like Beca #14 no longer pay to see their movies!

Who are the stupid people here?

The previous poster conveniently forgets the two beginning years of complete Democrat control over the Executive and the Legislative Branch of the Government where they passed the disastrous Dodd/Frank and the stupendously ignorant and catastrophic Affordable Care Act.

I'll say it once more. Never in the history of these United States have we had such an ill equipped, incompetent person as this Democrat President. Never have we had a President so lacking that he cannot deal with even the simplest of problems without totally getting it wrong on every count.

A few months back, HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius stated for the record that 7 million Obamacare sign-ups by the end of March would constitute success. She was clear about it. And this is really beginning to get interesting now. You see the the crony capitalists and the very wealthy Repubicans. They want stop at all costs Ted Cruz and Rand Paul. Their boy Chris Christie, he´s limping along. He´s got that bridge problem. I don´t mean his pants, I don´t mean his teeth, I mean that bridge

In a meeting with the heads of the five service branches in 2010, President Obama offered the leaders a choice: Support my efforts to end the military’s Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell policy, or resign. In a video obtained by BuzzFeed via a Freedom of Information Act request, Coast Guard Commandant Adm. Robert Papp revealed that Obama was unwilling to compromise with service leaders over DADT during a meeting in 2010. “We were called into the Oval Office and President Obama looked all five service chiefs in the eye and said, ‘This is what I want to do.’ I cannot divulge everything

A "vast majority" of Mitt Romney donors, establishment pooh-bahs, and an anti-conservative consultant who is the epitome of permanent political class want former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush to run for president in 2016. Bush was in Las Vegas this week meeting with Sheldon Adelson, and, according to the Post, "many if not most of 2012 GOP nominee Mitt Romney’s major donors are reaching out to Bush and his confidants with phone calls, e-mails and invitations to meet." One bundler even said that a "vast majority” of "Romney’s top 100 donors would back Bush." The Post also noted that in the meantime "Bush’s

I have no objections to Jeb Bush running for president. He obviously has a wide appeal as a potential candidate. (Snip) His support of Common Core, however, will also find many who are in the conservative ranks objecting, since they fear that Common Core represents educational centralism and having the government ram federal standards down their throats. What I do object to is that Bush is already being heralded as the obvious candidate, the man to whom the big money must and will flow. As the Washington Post reports: Many of the Republican Party’s most powerful insiders and financiers have begun a

Obamacare, the plan purportedly created to provide health coverage for the uninsured, has enrolled just 1.7% of America´s 48.6 million uninsured. News of the disastrous numbers comes as nervous Democrats and President Barack Obama, ahead of the November midterm elections, did their best on Monday´s enrollment deadline to put a positive spin on the deeply unpopular Obamacare program. (Snip) The White House now claims an Obamacare enrollment figure of six million people. However, according to The New York Times, at least 20% of those never paid their premiums to activate coverage, leaving them uninsured.

Ronan Farrow’s MSNBC talk show is facing cancellation amid poor ratings, sources exclusively tell Confidenti@l.Farrow, 28 — the opinionated, blue-eyed son of actress Mia Farrow and either Woody Allen or Frank Sinatra (even Farrow’s not sure which) — has been a disaster for MSNBC. The channel took the frequent cable-show guest and handed him his own program, “Ronan Farrow Daily,” which premiered in late February. The theory was that Farrow, a Rhodes scholar who graduated college when he was 15 and went on to score degrees from Yale and Oxford, would bring his 245,000 Twitter followers with him to television

YOKOHAMA, Japan — Climate change is already having sweeping effects on every continent and throughout the world’s oceans, scientists reported Monday, and they warned that the problem is likely to grow substantially worse unless greenhouse emissions are brought under control. The report by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, a United Nations group that periodically summarizes climate science, concluded that ice caps are melting, sea ice in the Arctic is collapsing, water supplies are coming under stress, heat waves and heavy rains are intensifying, coral reefs are dying, and fish and many other creatures are migrating toward the poles or

A National Labor Relations Board official has given the green light to Northwestern University football players to form a union. The March 26 decision by the NLRB´s Chicago regional director, Peter Sung Ohr, held that scholarship football players are "employees" for purposes of federal labor law. Ohr rejected the longstanding view of Northwestern and the National Collegiate Athletic Association that players are "student-athletes" rather than employees. While Ohr´s decision is hardly the final word on this issue, it does accelerate the legal and political battle against the NCAA and its century-old amateurism rules. Is Football Academic? Washington — The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration on Monday finalized long-delayed rules that will require automakers to install back-up cameras in all vehicles by May 2018. The new rules set rear visibility standards that automakers will initially be able to meet only by installing cameras. At the same time, major automakers said Monday they are petitioning the Obama administration to let them end the use of side view mirrors if they install cameras that could perform the same task — a move that could improve fuel efficiency. President Obama’s Department of Homeland Security caught then released 68,000 aliens who had previously been convicted of a crime, a new report from the Center for Immigration Studies shows. The report, provided to Breitbart News ahead of its late Sunday evening release, reviews internal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) metrics to conclude that the Obama administration released 35 percent—or 68,000—convicted criminal aliens back into the U.S. general population when they could have been deported. Drinking Earl Grey tea could help guard against heart disease, it has emerged, after a study found that bergamot extract--a key ingredient in the hot drink--is just as effective as statins at controlling cholesterol. Scientists believe bergamot, a fragrant Mediterranean citrus fruit which gives Earl Grey tea its distinctive flavour, can significantly lower cholesterol. They say it contains enzymes known as HMGF (hydroxy methyl glutaryl flavonones) which can attack proteins in the body known to cause heart disease. The study found bergamot could even be as effective as statins, used to control cholesterol but which can have side effects in

WASHINGTON — LeBron James wants you to sign up for health coverage under Obamacare. So do Magic Johnson and Jonah Hill’s mom. Monday is (sort of) the deadline for Americans without employer-provided health coverage to sign up for insurance under the Affordable Care Act — the White House extended it so that anyone who’s begun to sign up by Monday can still complete the process by April 7 — and the final enrollment numbers will be an important test for a law intended to expand access for the uninsured. It’ll also be a test for the White House’s high-octane sales
