Benghazi: Osama's Revenge on Obama

| Talk about chickens coming home to roost. Talk about the Mother of All Fiascos. It's the revenge of Osama bin Laden from the bottom of the ocean, and the message is plain: al-Qaeda is very much alive, and America is a paper tiger. The Middle East is beginning to fall apart -- Iran just sent a spy drone over Israel's sensitive defense installations, and the IDF waited hours to react; Turkey forced down a Syrian arms plane, and al-Qaeda's Al Zawahiri openly assaulted the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi in a six-hour attack, working through al-Qaeda

We really must get out of the Middle East and just let theat whole region fester and rage until it cures itself. Let's take to heart George Washington's advice to avoid foreign entanglements.

I don't think we know the "real reason" for this attack.I think it's something that would be highly embarrassing for the administration if it got out. All of a sudden now Obama,Biden or no one in the WH knew anything about the semantics of this attack. They're pre-distancing themselves in case something big squirts out.
I wouldn't consider this a terror attack, myself. Terror attacks are meant to have a long term effect on people's behavior. This was simply an organized gang of thugs who plotted this attack for weeks.
There was also quite a few people that got away we don't hear much about.
We got all kinds of lectures from the left over Bush antagonizing the muslims, yet Obama's big donor buddy in Hollywood is going to run the BinLaden movie 2 days before the election.

#3, this would still be considered a terrorist attack because it will have a long term effect on people's behavior. Fewer people will now vote for Democrats. It may not be the type of behavior change that was intended, but it will make a change a nonetheless.

I was happy to read that Mr. Lewis called it like it happened. He states clearly that Ambassador Steven was "raped" and "dragged" through town while the Libyan security guards fled the scene....
The islamist really have a problem with raping their victims. The same happened to Gadaffi only he had to endure a raping with a knife (check the foreign press for details). Talk about homophobes. The Gay lobby should work on correcting the moooslim opinion.
OUR papers don't print all the facts. It's a pat on the head and "there/there we'll tell you want you can hear".....

We actually do know what happened. In riots and protests all over the ME large groups of rioters and protesters outside our facilities screamed that they are one million new Osamas. The said nothing about videos. And they did this on or right after Sept. 11. You don't actually need a PhD to figure this out.

having read the article and the above posts, I must say that whatever the attack was, Obammy has to go. The election is getting more important every day. Al Qaeda will not stop. I understand the feelings of all of the posters, but until we have oil independence, the Middle East will remain a vital interest to us. We can't write it off. We must support Israel in any case.

#9 it's not about selling papers anymore, it's about electing this incompetent pResident, and their gain in all this is hard for me to see.
Someone inside the fourth estate needs to beat these sloven reporters and editors to the true story inside this scandal.
Some of the issues in this article:
1) Ambassador Chris Stevens was openly homosexual? Nowhere have I seen this mentioned before.
2) An interview by someone at the Benghazi bombing. Did ANYONE in the LAME-MSM ever mention this in any reporting about this assassination?
How many times have we seen TV cameras following LMSM reporters on the back of troop transports yet one month into this scandal and nary a word from the site. WHY?
And from the LMSM in response to all this scandal and assassination...........{cue crickets}

Ditto, #2.
Part of me wonders if the "zippy killed bin Laden" movie coming out on November 4 is meant to stir up the ME and cause bomb threats at polling stations here. I don't think that zippy could get away with shutting down the election, but he could scare a lot of people into staying home. I'll remove my tin foil hat now.
Romney needs to keep pounding zippy with this fiasco relentlessly. The future of the west is at stake.

#13, there have been a few stories mentioning Ambassador Steven's homosexuality. This is the first article I've seen that said he was targeted, as I also believe, BECAUSE of it.
We are dealing with people who just ain't right in the head. The liberals here are classic bullies who figuratively beat up other people, but run away at the first sign of a real threat. Notice not a peep from the gay community about Steven's rape?? There, we are dealing there with Islamic sociopaths who, like the Nazi sociopaths in Germany, stifled the decent people who wouldn't ordinarily have harmed (or allowed harm to) someone else.
Evil never dies out - it's just more readily apparent now.

Reading through all the signs of unrest, I thought of Obama tacitly ignoring these while making speeches about having al Qaeda on the run. It's terrible to say, but maybe, maybe the four deaths in Libya, were like soldiers dying. Maybe they did not die in vain, but brought to daylight Obama's foreign failures to help defeat him in this critical election.

WOW! The American Thinker has done it again. There is more mind meat in this article than we can digest in a single day.
Hillary & Huma; a gay Chris Stevens; strong horse/weak horse; a dedicated enemy; a drugged, blinded, ignorant and apathetic America; outsourcing of our security to hostiles; lies; over-ups and unbelievable incompetence...if incompetence it is.
Obama will strike the known al-Qaeda elements who perpetrated the Benghazi attack with missiles, aircraft, and armed drones. He will do this as a desperate attempt to save his presidency. He will go down to ignominious defeat anyway.
President Romney will let it be known through back channels that if the Libyan government has not brought these men o justice within x days of his inauguration, he will direct U.S. forces to do so.
One more thing, my beloved LDotters. The Middle East is not about oil. We have been conditioned to believe this...at great loss to our national sovereignty. [Think of GW Bush holding hands with, and the muslim b*****d currently contaminating OUR White House bowing to, the Saudi Arabian king.]
No, with the proper national resolve, leadership. and our own natural resources (along with those of friendly countries such as Canada, Mexico, Colombia) we could wean ourselves from the Wahabbists and stop giving them the cash to kill us.
Oye! Listen up! THE MIDDLE EAST IS ABOUT ISRAEL!
If we fail to help her, we start the count-down clock on our own demise.
No better friend. No worse enemy.

And America too. Maybe Huma hid some things from Hillary as well. These people have to go; they or whoever is running things are going to bring in WWIII.
#3 is totally wrong. This was not a thug attack. Stop the BS here. This was a terror attack by an organized group of terrorists. It was planned. Al Zahwari organized this attack.

This is something that was buried by the media. When Ahmadinejad was first elected many ex-hostages of Iran came out testifying that he was with their captors. Then absolute silence. This is powerful article that brings out many interesting points about our enemies. Another one is how their women have had to change their dress. Go liberate that, Obama who killed Osama.

If this had all started under 0bama they would never have been allowed to go that far. Adam Lanza, who slaughtered and maimed children and staff of his former elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut, provided this year´s convenient justification for new legislation controlling firearms in the U.S. This week, President Obama brings Newtown victims´ families to Washington for synchronized bloody shirt-waving on Capitol Hill in support of new restrictions on guns and gun owners. "Moderate" and even conservative senators still embrace the effort to "do something," even though many premises of the proposed legislation are false.

In one of his more well-publicized gaffes, Vice President Biden said of John McCain: "Look, John´s last-minute economic plan does nothing to tackle the number-one job facing the middle class, and it happens to be, as Barack says, a three-letter word: jobs. J-O-B-S, jobs." Actually, of course, it´s a four-letter word, and it was his job and the president´s to create a climate for job expansion, and they failed. The evidence is now overwhelming: they have created the worst employment climate in decades.

When your article inspires a big-city mayor to refer your case to a "human-relations commission," you know you´ve hit a nerve. And when that article is the recent "Being White in Philly" piece by liberal Robert Huber, you know it doesn´t take much truth to hit that nerve. That´s the scary part. Huber´s article contains mostly tepid examples of whites´ negative experiences with blacks and primarily black neighborhoods, such as a Philadelphia resident whose grill was stolen from her backyard but "blames herself" for not fencing it in. Its tone is basically apologetic, absolving a drug dealer of responsibility

That´s something to remember when you arrive there next week. Israel has a government, elected by its people in a free, fair, open and democratic election. Multiple parties representing widely divergent points of view met a wildly diverse electorate through free media and open debate. This is no stultified two-party affair with a libertarian insurgency. Israel will be the only country you visit in the region, this time or any other, that has a fully democratic system. Do not be swayed by the "apartheid" slander. Citizens of Israel are Jews, Moslems, Christians, and Druze, each with religious and non-religious elements.

Prodded by a president with a weakness for racial agitation and enabled by a politically complicit media, the State of Florida persists in a prosecution that can come to no good end. The defendant is neighborhood watch captain George Zimmerman. The charge is the second-degree murder. The potential outcomes range from major injustice, if Zimmerman is convicted, to mayhem in the streets, if he´s acquitted. And the state plods on as though the angels were on its side. They are not. The witnesses to the February 2012 shooting of 17 year-old Trayvon Martin are proving even more troublesome

The political world changed its orbit Wednesday as Rand Paul seized the spotlight in his March 6 filibuster. Rand Paul -- not this author´s favorite before -- is probably now the 2016 front-runner for president. But the difference results from fundamental changes in substance. How can one day be that big of a deal? Because Rand Paul demonstrated a reproducible, winning formula. It was as if Ronald Reagan were granted just one day to come back to Earth to remind the Party of Lincoln of "how it´s done." Rand demonstrated a repeatable formula that all Republicans can copy.

Sixty-three months ago Barack Obama officially declared his candidacy for President. Only now are some among the so-called media and ruling elites in America slowly awakening from their self-induced infatuation and beginning to understand who he is. It has become difficult to ignore the overt intimidation, demagoguery and deliberate falsehoods spewed forth by Obama relative to sequestration -- a miniscule cut in the growth of federal spending. However, any cursory examination of his past reveals that these tactics are second nature to the man who currently occupies the Oval Office.

Years ago, when I used to play poker with some guys, I played a hand in which across the table from me was someone who looked as though he had a straight flush. He kept pumping up the bidding and everyone folded but me. When we finally showed our hands he had nothing. "You don´t know what you´re doing," he yelled. "Any good player would have folded! Why did you stay in?" he shouted angrily. "Because you curled your lip and reacted furiously when I stayed in. Someone with a winning hand would never do that."

By law, on Friday the executive must begin to cut $85 billion from federal spending. Though, as is his wont, the president is blaming the Republicans for what he claims is a draconian measure. No less a Washington chronicler of events than Bob Woodward of the Washington Post considers that a gross distortion of the truth [T]he automatic spending cuts were initiated by the White House and were the brainchild of [Treasury Secretary nominee Jack] Lew and White House congressional relations chief Rob Nabors -- probably the foremost experts on budget issues in the senior ranks of the federal government.

Too little serious conservative analysis of the 2012 presidential campaign has yet appeared. This is understandable. The results of the election were disheartening to the point of shock. The campaign defied all historical precedent, all commonsense interpretation. The Romney ticket should not have lost and did not deserve to lose. The Democrats, fielding the least worthy ticket in the past century -- and that´s saying something -- did not deserve to win. The reasons they did are myriad and complex. But before we get too far down the road, there is one lesson that has to be grasped:

No, I´m not talking about Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon, and Michael (God rest Michael´s tortured soul). I´m talking about the Chicago Jacksons, Jesse Sr. and Jesse Jr. The Jackson 5 in their heyday gave plenty: music, entertainment, and joy to their fans. The Chicago Jacksons are another story. Jesse Sr. (The Right Reverend) and his son (the erstwhile congressman) have done a lot more taking than giving. "Taking" may be too charitable a word. Shaking down and wheedling may be better descriptors for the Chicago Jacksons´ acts.

The sequester may have many across the country singing the blues, but for President Obama, it was all about Memphis Soul. Even with the threat of furloughs and government cuts sparked by the sequester, Obama took the time to enjoy a star-studded concert at the White House tonight. The White House celebration of Memphis Soul music in the East Room--which included special guest appearances by Queen Latifah and Justin Timberlake--is likely to rile Obama´s Republican foes. In the message he issued along with his budget proposal on Wednesday morning, President Barack Obama said he wants to see 4-year-old children in the United States enrolled in public schools. Obama said America needs to start enrolling 4-year-olds to make sure the children are “better prepared for the demands of the global economy” and to help parents save on "child-care costs." After saying the United States needs to “equip our citizens with the skills and training” to fill jobs in manufacturing, energy and infrastructure, Obama said, “And that has to start at the earliest possible age.”

"The politics has been relentless and that continues," Sebelius said. "There was some hope that once the Supreme Court ruled in July, and then once an election occurred there would be a sense that, ´This is the law of the land, let´s get on board, let´s make this work.´"
