Benghazi: Osama's Revenge on Obama
American Thinker, by James Lewis

Original Article

Talk about chickens coming home to roost. Talk about the Mother of All Fiascos. It's the revenge of Osama bin Laden from the bottom of the ocean, and the message is plain: al-Qaeda is very much alive, and America is a paper tiger. The Middle East is beginning to fall apart -- Iran just sent a spy drone over Israel's sensitive defense installations, and the IDF waited hours to react; Turkey forced down a Syrian arms plane, and al-Qaeda's Al Zawahiri openly assaulted the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi in a six-hour attack, working through al-Qaeda

We really must get out of the Middle East and just let theat whole region fester and rage until it cures itself. Let's take to heart George Washington's advice to avoid foreign entanglements.

I don't think we know the "real reason" for this attack.I think it's something that would be highly embarrassing for the administration if it got out. All of a sudden now Obama,Biden or no one in the WH knew anything about the semantics of this attack. They're pre-distancing themselves in case something big squirts out.

I wouldn't consider this a terror attack, myself. Terror attacks are meant to have a long term effect on people's behavior. This was simply an organized gang of thugs who plotted this attack for weeks.

There was also quite a few people that got away we don't hear much about.

We got all kinds of lectures from the left over Bush antagonizing the muslims, yet Obama's big donor buddy in Hollywood is going to run the BinLaden movie 2 days before the election.

#3, this would still be considered a terrorist attack because it will have a long term effect on people's behavior. Fewer people will now vote for Democrats. It may not be the type of behavior change that was intended, but it will make a change a nonetheless.

I was happy to read that Mr. Lewis called it like it happened. He states clearly that Ambassador Steven was "raped" and "dragged" through town while the Libyan security guards fled the scene....

The islamist really have a problem with raping their victims. The same happened to Gadaffi only he had to endure a raping with a knife (check the foreign press for details). Talk about homophobes. The Gay lobby should work on correcting the moooslim opinion.

OUR papers don't print all the facts. It's a pat on the head and "there/there we'll tell you want you can hear".....

God help US if President Romney doesn't win....

We actually do know what happened. In riots and protests all over the ME large groups of rioters and protesters outside our facilities screamed that they are one million new Osamas. The said nothing about videos. And they did this on or right after Sept. 11. You don't actually need a PhD to figure this out.

having read the article and the above posts, I must say that whatever the attack was, Obammy has to go. The election is getting more important every day. Al Qaeda will not stop. I understand the feelings of all of the posters, but until we have oil independence, the Middle East will remain a vital interest to us. We can't write it off. We must support Israel in any case.

#9 it's not about selling papers anymore, it's about electing this incompetent pResident, and their gain in all this is hard for me to see.

Someone inside the fourth estate needs to beat these sloven reporters and editors to the true story inside this scandal.

Some of the issues in this article:

1) Ambassador Chris Stevens was openly homosexual? Nowhere have I seen this mentioned before.

2) An interview by someone at the Benghazi bombing. Did ANYONE in the LAME-MSM ever mention this in any reporting about this assassination?

How many times have we seen TV cameras following LMSM reporters on the back of troop transports yet one month into this scandal and nary a word from the site. WHY?

And from the LMSM in response to all this scandal and assassination...........{cue crickets}

Ditto, #2.

Part of me wonders if the "zippy killed bin Laden" movie coming out on November 4 is meant to stir up the ME and cause bomb threats at polling stations here. I don't think that zippy could get away with shutting down the election, but he could scare a lot of people into staying home. I'll remove my tin foil hat now.

Romney needs to keep pounding zippy with this fiasco relentlessly. The future of the west is at stake.

#13, there have been a few stories mentioning Ambassador Steven's homosexuality. This is the first article I've seen that said he was targeted, as I also believe, BECAUSE of it.

We are dealing with people who just ain't right in the head. The liberals here are classic bullies who figuratively beat up other people, but run away at the first sign of a real threat. Notice not a peep from the gay community about Steven's rape?? There, we are dealing there with Islamic sociopaths who, like the Nazi sociopaths in Germany, stifled the decent people who wouldn't ordinarily have harmed (or allowed harm to) someone else.

Evil never dies out - it's just more readily apparent now.

Reading through all the signs of unrest, I thought of Obama tacitly ignoring these while making speeches about having al Qaeda on the run. It's terrible to say, but maybe, maybe the four deaths in Libya, were like soldiers dying. Maybe they did not die in vain, but brought to daylight Obama's foreign failures to help defeat him in this critical election.

WOW! The American Thinker has done it again. There is more mind meat in this article than we can digest in a single day.

Hillary & Huma; a gay Chris Stevens; strong horse/weak horse; a dedicated enemy; a drugged, blinded, ignorant and apathetic America; outsourcing of our security to hostiles; lies; over-ups and unbelievable incompetence...if incompetence it is.

Obama will strike the known al-Qaeda elements who perpetrated the Benghazi attack with missiles, aircraft, and armed drones. He will do this as a desperate attempt to save his presidency. He will go down to ignominious defeat anyway.

President Romney will let it be known through back channels that if the Libyan government has not brought these men o justice within x days of his inauguration, he will direct U.S. forces to do so.

One more thing, my beloved LDotters. The Middle East is not about oil. We have been conditioned to believe this...at great loss to our national sovereignty. [Think of GW Bush holding hands with, and the muslim b*****d currently contaminating OUR White House bowing to, the Saudi Arabian king.]

No, with the proper national resolve, leadership. and our own natural resources (along with those of friendly countries such as Canada, Mexico, Colombia) we could wean ourselves from the Wahabbists and stop giving them the cash to kill us.

Oye! Listen up! THE MIDDLE EAST IS ABOUT ISRAEL!

If we fail to help her, we start the count-down clock on our own demise.

No better friend. No worse enemy.

#3 is totally wrong. This was not a thug attack. Stop the BS here. This was a terror attack by an organized group of terrorists. It was planned. Al Zahwari organized this attack.

This is something that was buried by the media. When Ahmadinejad was first elected many ex-hostages of Iran came out testifying that he was with their captors. Then absolute silence. This is powerful article that brings out many interesting points about our enemies. Another one is how their women have had to change their dress. Go liberate that, Obama who killed Osama.

A major concern of progressives is their supposed interest in the fate of the poor. They purport to be the champions of the poor. But the truth is that they need the poor more than the poor need them, in a symbiotic relationship. As much as 75% of the money allocated to the poor is consumed by the vast bureaucracies that administer this aid. These agencies are actually job programs for college graduates who would often find it difficult to find employment in the private sector. The clumsiness and incoherence, if not madness, of this administration’s foreign policies are creating havoc around the world. Early on in the Genesis chapter of the Bible much is made of Adam giving names to all living creatures. Like everything about the Bible, the meaning of this event is subject to many interpretations, the most often given is that it signals man’s dominion over the other creatures of the earth. I don’t dispute that reading, but to me, the naming description signifies that there can be no real communication among people unless the names we use mean the same thing to all of us. A few weeks ago, the liberal comedian Bill Maher and conservative strategist and pundit Bill Kristol had a brief spat on Maher’s HBO show, putatively over what instigated the tea party but ultimately over the psychic wound that has divided red America and blue America in the Obama years. The rise of the tea party, explained Maher in a let’s-get-real moment, closing his eyes for a second the way one does when saying something everybody knows but nobody wants to say, “was about a black president.” Both Maher and Kristol carry themselves with a weary cynicism that allows them to

A caveat right off the bat: RAND’s estimate only runs through March 28 whereas the actual deadline for signing up was March 31st. Given the crush of traffic on Healthcare.gov in late March, many more people could have signed up over those last three days than were captured by these numbers. On the other hand, the White House was claiming six million sign-ups as of March 27. There’s no way to reconcile that with RAND’s data. One of them is wrong. Maybe both, in fact. There’s a big spike in Medicaid, just as everyone expected. There’s a less big but

As the House prepares for several key votes on former Internal Revenue Service employee Lois G. Lerner and potential legal action, analysts say she and her attorney have mishandled their case by picking and choosing when they want to talk, and to whom they are willing to talk. Ms. Lerner faces a vote in the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee on Thursday that could begin the process of accusing her of contempt of Congress. The Ways and Means Committee announced that it will hold a vote Wednesday on whether to officially accuse Ms. Lerner of breaking the law by

How does the Republican Party establishment choose its presidential candidate? Typically, constitutionalists accuse their establishment rivals of being moderate, risk-averse, stubborn old fools who lack faith in conservative principles. This is a soothing interpretation, as it begins from the hypothesis that the contest between conservatives and the GOP elite is a family feud. But there is another hypothesis -- less soothing, but, at least from an outsider´s bird´s-eye view, more reconcilable with the facts. This hypothesis is that America has reached a stage of progressive soft despotism in which the only important family feud in national politics is between the fundamentally

A founding father of the conservative movement who is now a star among Tea Party activists is urging the GOP to choose a governor to duel Washington “insider” Hillary Clinton for the White House, saying that 2016 isn´t the best time for Sen. Ted Cruz to run. Often called the “funding father” of conservatism for pioneering direct mail fundraising, Richard A. Viguerie believes that the Texas senator is a “game changer” for the movement but that the best way to beat Clinton is with a candidate from outside the beltway. “I don´t think it would be best for the conservative movement for

My first published column was in a local paper opposing the Equal Rights Amendment for the same reasons that Phyllis Schlafly, a conservative lawyer, campaigned on. As ambiguously written, the ERA, would eliminate the men-only draft requirement, repeal protective laws like sexual assault and eliminate the tendency for mothers to obtain custody over their children in divorce cases. Ironically, one of the arguments that helped sink the amendment from ratification was the fear that single-sex bathrooms would no longer be permitted. In addition, opponents of the amendment also warned that it would lead to abortion on demand and same-sex marriages.

This morning I clicked on a link to a Red State website article concerning “The War on Women” and “Paycheck Equality” and got quite a surprise (the same thing happens when a Firefox user goes directly to the article). Nanny Firefox posted a political opinion on my screen before allowing me to proceed to read the article. This message didn’t appear when I accessed a second article which met with Firefox’s political commissar’s approval. Here’s what Firefox said: Careful Now! (shouldn’t they have said “Achtung! or “Verboten!” or something similar?). This website could not be displayed by Firefox because it is not

As a former President of The Most Powerful Country In The World, George W Bush has significantly greater access to world leaders than most budding artists. (Snip) Art critics have pointed out that a number of the 30 portraits in the exhibition appear to be based on images thrown up by a cursory search of the person´s name in Google Images. In some cases the portrait seems to have been based on the very first image result on the search engine. Rather remarkably, even the portrait of his own father, someone who he surely could have asked to sit for him, appears to be based on an Associated Press portrait which appears on the first page of

More than a hundred Republican Party elders gathered this weekend in Texas to celebrate George H.W. Bush’s legacy. But many of the event’s participants had another, much simpler agenda: launching a Jeb Bush presidential campaign. The two-day festivities featured a widely covered speech by Jeb. And on the sidelines, former Bush retainers were frank about their hopes that the eldest son could save a party the family has led on and off since 1988. “We have a responsibility to make sure Jeb runs,” said longtime Bush adviser Andy Card after the speech. “If Jeb Bush does not run, shame on us.” Card added,

Little Rock — An elderly couple was attacked at a restaurant when they asked a woman to refrain from cursing while talking on a cell phone, according to police. The incident happened at Cuisine of China on Geyer Springs road. In the police report, Don Francis, 74 and his wife Bettye Francis, 69, say they were attacked by Joecelyn Thornton, 33, after Francis asked her to stop cursing. In the surveillance video, a woman can be seen walking over to a table and pushing Francis. His wife intervenes and that´s when Thornton allegedly attacks her, pushing her into a table and punching
