| Controversial Sarah Palin has been forced to hit back after being caught up in a furore over her new scarily skinny figure. Mrs Palin, 48, debuted her new look as she strolled through California's Studio City, dressed in an outfit that appeared to have been plundered from one of her young daughter's wardrobes. Dressed in tight black jeans, a crop top that looked like it had been stolen off the set of Flashdance, and high wedges, the former vice presidential hopeful looked a million miles away from the campaign trail.

i wouldnt call it shocking at all. However, I do prefer that women have some meat on their bones. Anyhow......She now lives in an area where any extra weight is frowned upon and where its not helpful in the heat.

So you're given a platform whereby you could actually steer the conversation and insert a genuinely adult perspective and voice into the culture, and instead you descend into anorexia, reality shows and fitness books, while the world is just about to implode.
I give up. I just give up. Let the world burn.

Now she looks emaciated.

I once loved Sarah Palin and her message. I don't care for her anymore because of how she markets herself. If she is going to do fitness then she joins the ranks of Jane Fonda. I cannot support anything else she will ever do.

I still love Sarah Palin. She looks fine. She did look younger and fresher in 2008 -- but then, didn't we all. Four years of stress and strain under Obama has been rough on all of us.

If Michelle Obama came out in that outfit, the press would be falling all over themselves to say how great she looked.
Maybe she was just dressed for a casual day of shopping, and not a press conference. I wish I could wear skinny jeans like that! The top, hair and makeup could have been better.

I can't imagine the damage she's had to endure these past 4 years from the malignant press. In spite of that she didn't curl up into a ball and cry. She fought back and developed a career o her own that will care for her family for years to come. We don't own her future. She doesn't have to be a politician. She gave her blood sweat and tears for that already. She may be thin from the constant STRESS of ppl pawing through her garbage or insulting her everyday. God bless her and grant her success in what ever she does.

Sarah Palin has gotten addicted to the fame and the money. I think she is a principled and sincere conservative but come on. She has become a stage mommy to Bristol, doing her second gig on DWTS. They are cashing in and there's nothing wrong with it but let's call it what it is.

Wow, # 3 and # 5, your claws are really showing.
Sarah did not win the position of VP. All her books, TV appearances and opinions are hers.
If she wants to update her look to be a bit more California hip and write another book while at it; good for her.
Its only in the mind of the viewer that she is now all of a sudden "stupid".
Its not her job to save the world. Why would you lay a guilt trip on her?
And to compare her to communist Jane Fonda as an extremely low blow.
Shame on you. Don't buy her stuff if you are not impressed.

I don't think she needed to lose anything, but maybe she lost some, looks trendy for Los Angeles, and maybe she was trying to set an example for Bristol who just maybe is the one who really could lose a few pounds.
... and I assume is sent home from DWTS tonight.

I'm not digging the look she's sporting, but then, as I recall, she didn't become our VP did she? So, I guess the press should stop treating her as if she did become VP and is representing our country. They made sure she lost and they haven't forgiven her yet. Give it rest already.

# 15 - Sorry to disappoint you, Bristol will be on DWTS next week so just relax your 350 pound couch potato status until then. #13 If parents, spouses and children of the other DWTS participants are in the theatre supporting their dancer why is it Gov. Palin gets listed as a "stage mommy to Bristol"? Is there a wee bit of jealousy because of their earning power? #7 tacky comment! #5- Doubt Gov. Palin will miss your support! #3 Why are you placing the weight on Gov. Palin's shoulders to save the world? What are you doing?

An objective comment does not make one jealous. She's always been slender but now looks very thin as a result of dieting and not stress I hope. If this was the FLOTUS, the media would be going general quarters on her and falling all over themselves. But for Sarah they only feel scorn. We need her to be more vocal and support congressional candidates. She would be more effective there than trying to grab the national spotlight because the crazies will try to dredge up 08 and the sheeples will buy it.

So many have tried to destroy Sarah but she has shown resilience, strength and ability far beyond the Affirmative Action wimp in the White House whom they so adore.
She has dealt with a tremendous barrage of abuse and ridicule far beyond what is normal, even for the bottom feeding left. And we see it never ends. It is America's loss that she has been so badly savaged by the leftist media that she is no longer a viable candidate for public office.
Now, she is a private citizen - she and Todd are just like the rest of us. They have to build the best life they can for their family on their own and that is what they have done.
It isn't Sarah who needs help - it is the people who spend their time obsessing over her.

Is ObamaCare the reform to end all other reforms? The massive health care law´s problems are well known. Major tax hikes and Medicare cuts will fund a massive new government program, rather than shore up the nation´s finances. ObamaCare already is encouraging companies to cut jobs and work hours. With the administration delaying the insurance exchanges that might help small businesses until 2015, even ObamaCare cheerleaders are growing worried. And the law will leave tens of millions of Americans without health coverage. That´s the best-case scenario,

The National Republican Congressional Committee is launching "Words with Elizabeth," a new website hitting House candidate Elizabeth Colbert Busch (D). The site, designed to look like the popular "Words with Friends" Web game, outlines what will likely be the main GOP lines of attack in her race against former South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford (R). The Scrabble-like board features her playing against President Obama and spells out "ObamaCare," "Rubberstamp" and "Vacay." Even as Congress prepares to debate whether to legalize 11 million illegal immigrants and give them a path to citizenship, analysts are cautioning lawmakers to focus on the other part of immigration: assimilating them fully into America. All sides in the debate agree that assimilation is critical, but in a report being released Monday, the Hudson Institute, a conservative-leaning think tank, says the country has failed on that account in recent years. They found that immigrants — even those who earn U.S. citizenship — have far less attachment to their new home than native-born Americans.

President Obama lives at a time when there are two very different and very well-defined political ideologies. On the one hand, the GOP is fighting for spending contraints, limited regulation, and more personal economic choice. President Obama and his party are more determined than any administration in U.S. history to promote and execute the idea that federal government is best suited to both meet the needs of the people and run the economy. The most fascinating aspect of this yin and yang pull of ideologies is not just that they are taking place at this time in history,

WASHINGTON— President Barack Obama supports requiring girls younger than 17 to see a doctor before buying the morning-after pill. But fighting that battle in court comes with its own set of risks. A federal judge in New York on Friday ordered the Food and Drug Administration to lift age restrictions on the sale of emergency contraception, ending the requirement that buyers show proof they’re 17 or older if they want to buy it without a prescription. The ruling accused the Obama administration in no uncertain terms of letting the president’s pending re-election cloud its judgment when it

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. This begs the question, “Why are we losing our religion?”

Put out an all-points bulletin: Millions of Americans have gone missing from the workforce. Every month that those would-be workers are gone raises the odds that they might never come back, dimming the prospects for future economic growth. The vanishing trend is more than a decade old, but it accelerated during the Great Recession. Throughout 2012, economists held out hope that it had stopped.
