Aides: PM to reprimand
Barak over US meetings

Ynetnews (Israel), by Attila Somfalvi

Original Article

Posted By:Scottyboy, 10/6/2012 4:33:23 PM

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has summoned Ehud Barak for a meeting Saturday evening during which he is expected to reprimand the defense minister and "demand clarifications regarding Barak's uncoordinated talks with American government officials, which contradicted the prime minister's instructions," an aide said.(snip)The relationship between Netanyahu and Barak, who were very close, reached a boiling point after the PM learned from Ynet about the defense minister's secret meeting with Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel a few weeks ago.

Comments:
Ehud Barak traveling to Chicago for a secret meeting with with Rahm Emanuel? Was this when little Rahm was still part of the 0bama campaign or after he resigned to be a fundraiser? Could this be yet another attempt by 0bama to undermine Netanyahu and Israel? Somebody needs to do some 'splainin'.

I mis-read the headline and thought he was getting after Barack. Alas.....

If he were, #1, he would be in the back of a very long line...

Expect Ehud Barak to either emerge from that meeting with a scarlet face looking for a new job of work or demoted to the nearest military installation as a Dempsey Dumpster guard on the graveyard shift.

This is hardly the first time Barak has been out of line. He is easily replaced and should be.

Maybe Rahm was planning another Bar Mitzvah in Israel and looking for more freebees.

The US Justice Department won´t seek the death penalty for a Colombo crime family consigliere accused of sanctioning the 1997 murder of NYPD Officer Officer Ralph Dols. US Attorney General Eric Holder issued the course-reversing directive -- made public today -- without citing a rationale for his shift. Now Colombo wiseguy Joel "Joe Waverly" Cacace, 72, will face a maximum penalty of life in prison if he´s convicted at his upcoming mob murder trial in Brooklyn federal court. Cacace is already serving a 20-year sentence for other mob crimes that has him scheduled to be released in June 2020

Obama’s Second Term

President Barack Obama’s second term has so far been a story of high liberal hopes and scant liberal achievements. The president has been re-elected, demographic trends favor the growth of his coalition, his party has a technological edge, and his opposition is confused and divided. One might therefore expect Obama to be enacting the legislative agenda of that rising coalition. Yet the White House has to be disappointed, whatever it says, by the way the second term has been going.

Obama can’t blame Bush

So who is President Obama going to blame for our deficits now? Last September, in an interview with “60 Minutes,” Obama laid the blame for the federal budget deficit on the policies he inherited from President George W. Bush. “Over the last four years, the deficit has gone up, but 90 percent of that is as a consequence of two wars that weren’t paid for, as a consequence of tax cuts that weren’t paid for, a prescription drug plan that was not paid for, and then the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression,” Obama declared.

The economic news in America has gone from bad to worse. First, we found out the jobs numbers are collapsing. Then retail sales figures were released- they show across the board contraction. Next, we found out U.S. business inventory figures were a disappointment. Finally, consumer confidence not only collapsed, but it was the largest miss from expectations in U.S. economic history. 2 words explain it all: "Ninety days." Ninety days is all it took to put the U.S. economy into a coma, to destroy any chance of recovery. 90 days defined by the Obama "Axis of Evil” --

Retired city worker Sheila Pugach lives in a modest home on a quiet street in Albuquerque, N.M., and drives an 18-year-old Subaru. Pugach doesn´t see herself as upper-income by any stretch, but President Barack Obama´s budget would raise her Medicare premiums and those of other comfortably retired seniors, adding to a surcharge that already costs some 2 million beneficiaries hundreds of dollars a year each. Due to the creeping effects of inflation, 20 million Medicare beneficiaries also would end up paying higher "income related" premiums for their outpatient and prescription coverage over time.

LOS ANGELES — Comedian Jonathan Winters, whose breakneck improvisations inspired Robin Williams, Jim Carrey and many others, has died at age 87. Longtime family friend Joe Petro III says Winters died Thursday evening at his Montecito, Calif., home of natural causes. Winters was a master of improvisational comedy, with a grab bag of eccentric personalities and facial expressions. Characters such as the dirty old lady Maude Frickert were based on people Winters knew growing up in Ohio. In the mid-1950s, "The Jonathan Winters Show" pioneered the then-new videotape technology on to do stunts such as showing up as two characters

Since he first became a presidential candidate, President Obama must have spent millions of dollars in legal expenses to combat dozens of so-called "birther" challenges seeking the original documents pertaining to his birth. As president, he famously issued an electronic document on the White House website in 2011; the document purported to be his long-form birth certificate, though it is apparently a forgery. In addition, he has taken great pains to hide the paper trail of passport records, college transcripts, and other data -- all of which a prospective employer might require of a job applicant.

Is media bias to blame for lack of Gosnell coverage? Or something far more banal? The trial of Philadelphia doctor Kermit Gosnell would seem to have all the elements of a spectacular news story: shocking allegations, horrifying visuals, sympathetic victims. Yet until late last week, much of the national media was silent as testimony about Gosnell’s alleged “house of horrors” abortion clinic rolled out. Much of the media attention outside Philadelphia, in fact, centered on how little media attention the story was receiving outside Philadelphia.

President Obama and I were college classmate at Columbia University, class of ’83. I know all too well how mindlessly liberal the students and faculty of that institution can be, and Barack Obama is certainly no exception. My time at Columbia made it crystal clear: liberals always believe they are morally superior. [Snip] It is in this cesspool of intolerance that Obama and his Marxist cronies hatched a secret plan to destroy our country. There are two things you need to know about Obama at Columbia University. First, he was Pre Law and a Political Science major- just like me.
