| If you did not watch Wednesday night’s presidential debate, here’s how bad it was: the Democrats are now looking to Joe Biden to turn things around. Yes, the latest Mitt Romney was one of the best models his technicians have produced yet, free from technical glitches and referencing real Americans he’d met on the campaign trail so often you’d think he might actually remember them. (Snip) But the real problem last night was, of course, Barack Obama—who looked like he was still sitting in a room somewhere listening to a John Kerry monologue.

Being a leftist means totally misunderstanding America or conservatives, which is why someone like Kerry would not be a appropriate sparing partner for debate prep with a fellow leftist.
Conservatives, on the other hand, completely understand how the mind of a leftist works, having passed through that infantile stage themselves, and can always predict how a lefty is going to react.
So again, with all the excuses offered, it comes down to 0bama's defective ideology and nothing is going to save him from that. But America is going to save itself from 0bama in November.

Another point, aside from hillbuzz, is have you noticed how the lefties are now borrowing our criticisms of Obama and pinning the adjectives on Romney? Two I've noticed lately, undeserved by Romney but deserved by Obama, are "petulant" and "smirking."

Frankly, I don't know why a sitting President needs a debate coach. The debate is only about responsibilities and current policies as POTUS. For obama to be blaming his failure on John "effing" Kerry means obama needs to get fired.

Was the goal to eliminate Romney with the RACE CARD? Loose the debate, but win the election?
Maybe, jfingkerry's strategy was for 0 to cower like a frightened slave, in an effort to make Mitt Romney look like Simon Legree. But, it didn't work. Nobody is accusing Romney of being too forceful, disrespectful, or bullying. If successful, 0 could have run 'unopposed' for reelection. Will they stick with the plan for the next one, or will they attempt another all or nothing strategy?

The debate really shows the difference in work ethic. Romney doesn't have a lazy bone in him, he sets a goal and goes after it, Obama is lazy and expects others to do his work for him. Don't think he can do much prep work in the next 10 or 12 days, there is golf to play.

Bottom line: Romney took this seriously and was prepared. Obama was the usual empty suit and chair trying to phone it in. I am just glad 70 million people saw the difference. O will just dig himself deeper by blaming everyone but himself for his lousy performance.
As for Romney being someone different every day, last I heard he doesn't change his way of speaking like the suddenly-black Obama does with different audiences.

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services says it wants as many as 20 percent of its workers to "telework," use an "alternative work schedule," or do both, in order to "reduce green house gas emissions," decrease "employee stress," and give these government workers more time for "planning and preparing healthy meals." So says one of the HHS "performance measures" detailed in an appendix to the department´s latest strategic plan. HHS´s performance measure "4.D.05" says: "Increase the percent employees on telework or on Alternative Work Schedule." Telework means working from home via phone and computer.

Her bangs, which she called her midlife crisis, were grown out and parted to the side with her hair slightly longer, touching her shoulders. No word on whether that means the crisis is over. A healthcare provider has sued the Internal Revenue Service and 15 of its agents, charging they wrongfully seized 60 million medical records from 10 million Americans. The name of the provider is not yet known, United Press International said. But Courthouse News Service said the suit claims the agency violated the Fourth Amendment in 2011, when agents executed a search warrant for financial data on one employee – and that led to the seizure of information on 10 million, including state judges. The search warrant did not specify that the IRS could take medical information, UPI said.

There was a running joke in the fall of 2008 that John McCain should simply re-air Hillary Clinton’s “3 a.m. phone call” ad, which highlighted Barack Obama’s lack of experience and meager knowledge of world affairs, and just tack on “I’m John McCain, and I approve this message” at the end of the ad.
