Obama's $4 Trillion Lie
Exposed by His Own Budget

Investor's Business Daily, by Editorial

Original Article

Posted By:earlybird, 10/4/2012 10:55:39 PM

Accuracy: At one point in Wednesday night's debate President Obama boasted about his "balanced" plan to cut the projected 10-year deficit by $4 trillion. One problem: His own budget exposes this claim as flat-out false. Even fact checkers at reliably Obama-friendly mainstream media outlets jumped on Obama's claim. ABC's John Karl called it "mostly fiction." He noted, for example, that Obama counts the $1 trillion budget cut deal he already signed with Republicans as part of his plan.

Highly noteworthy:

The article refers to page 206 on the White House's budget webpage.

The White House page (not the article) has been "404 not available" disabled since after this article was printed.

The cleaner crews can't scrub data quite fast enough to keep up with Obama's BS -- without resorting to just throwing up a brick wall.

I find it interesting that the group that was going to conduct the "Lie detector" stuff for the debates, has now not been heard from .........

Makes you tend to believe that it was a setup to begin with, and that they were going to use it against Romney !!!!

One ship was carrying equipment to detect the plane´s vital black box, but it remained uncertain whether the vessels were approaching a successful end to the search or another frustrating dead end. As a school superintendent, you’re typically measured by a few numbers. Test scores, graduation rates, crime rates, finances, gaps in student achievement, and perhaps a few other metrics, depending on your board of education. You can actually tackle these problems, or you can employ the dark art of data manipulation. In 2012, a news story exploded onto the national stage that was very instructive in how to magically lower school crime statistics – yet nearly every major news outlet missed it.(Snip)Alberto Carvalho just won Superintendent of the Year, and his numbers appear to be impressive. President Barack Obama’s appearance on funnyordie.com’s parody show “Between Two Ferns,” where he took mock questions from comic Zach Galifianakis, was a lot of things: funny, unusual, an intriguing way to sell Obamacare and very popular. One thing it was not, though, was an “interview” — unless you’re White House press secretary Jay Carney. Carney was defending the administration’s aggressive campaign to get young people to sign up for health insurance under the Affordable Care Act. BURBANK, Calif.—A 3-year-old boy who fell out of a third-story window in Burbank was saved by a quick-acting couple who threw a mattress out to break his fall. KABC-TV reports Konrad Lightner and his wife, Jennifer, were moving out of their apartment Sunday when they noticed the toddler and his sister throwing their toys out the window. When they saw the little boy throw his leg over the window sill, Konrad rushed to put the mattress down. He was able to break the child’s fall, placing him onto the mattress. California public health officials say 19 of the 32 cases of measles they have confirmed so far this year are in people who had not been vaccinated, and of that group, 14 were intentionally not vaccinated. As the number of measles cases continues to grow across the state — there were only three by this time last year — officials at the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) have urged parents against opting out of vaccinating their children. They say an increase in the number of people choosing not to vaccinate could drive a resurgence of the respiratory disease, since

VILNIUS, Lithuania—Vice President Biden’s we’re-all-in-this together tour of Eastern Europe, a two-country stop that concludes here Wednesday, has highlighted not only the growing regional anxieties over Russia’s designs on Ukraine but also how much work the Obama administration has to do to convince allies of its support. At its core, Biden’s message here and in Poland was a simple reaffirmation of what one senior administration official called a “bedrock commitment”: The United States would honor NATO’s basic premise that if one member nation is attacked, all would come to its defense. WASHINGTON — Mitt Romney said Sunday that President Barack Obama is naive when it comes to Russia, has shown "faulty judgment" about Moscow´s intentions and could have done more to try to deter its annexation of Crimea. The 2012 Republican presidential nominee said Obama didn´t have the foresight to anticipate Russia´s moves and should have been working earlier with allies to make clear the penalties that Russia would face if it moved into Ukraine. Romney did acknowledge that such steps may not have been enough though to hold back Russia President Vladimir Putin. "Had we communicated those things, there´s always

A few weeks ago, I wrote about how the sweeping acceptance of gay marriage in recent years is owed in large part to Christianity. Rejecting the rigidly hierarchical and stratified societies of the ancient world, Jesus Christ taught the equal dignity of all persons, proclaimed that the meek shall inherit the earth, and declared that the last shall be first and the first shall be last. The Western world has been working out the logic of these subversive teachings ever since, with the institutional transformation of marriage being the latest, though surely not the last, example of its social, moral,

That goes beyond hypocritical, and I think the American media and the international media has every right to call her and the Obama administration on that — that they permitted that to happen,” said Tom Whalen, a political history professor at Boston University. “It makes you shake your head, albeit sadly.” The first lady stopped at Peking University in Beijing yesterday

In a constituent meeting gone awry that was captured on shaky, amateur video, embattled Rep. Renee Ellmers (R-NC) berated a group of local activists who oppose amnesty legislation, suggesting they were racist and saying they didn´t have “any damn facts.” “You´re telling me what people have told you? You don´t have any damn facts!” Ellmers exploded at one of the activists when he said that employers – who often claim a labor shortage to argue for amnesty – frequently don´t post job openings in that region.
