Ever the romantic, Barack Obama used the opening moments of the first 2012 presidential election debate, to acknowledge his 20th wedding anniversary to wife Michelle. The President opened with the words: 'Twenty years ago I became the luckiest man on the earth because Michelle Obama agreed to marry me. I just want to wish, you, sweetie, happy anniversary.' He promised that next year, their celebration would not take place before 40 million viewers. Romney also had words of congratulations for the first couple before the debate got underway in Denver, Colorado. Romney joked to Obama: 'I’m sure this was

Once again, use the old trick to analyse Michelle 0bama and cover up the lower part of her face and look at her eyes. That AIN'T no smile she is giving Ann Romney. I'm sure they counseled Ann Romney on proper etiquette around someone who is always hostile.

In case it was missed, Mrs. O is giving speeches promoting the availability of free
contraceptives. Don't these ladies go with men who can afford to pay for more than the drinks. They ought to look a bit more upscale.

Obama's opening remarks about their wedding anniversary belongs in a private place, not in a Presidential election debate, but of course, he has to fit her into his busy schedule when he can. Frankly, he acts like a jackass, excuse my French.

This was a social climber marriage from the start. MO thought Obama was wealthy and BO needed MO to have a genuine black woman for a wife to impress the political/voting class in Chicago.
But this is the touchy feely type crap Obama wants to win on,not job performance.I'll bet some SS agents have some tales to tell about these people behind the scenes.

I'm sure John kerry (who was in VIETNAM) told obama the audience would LOVE him if thanked Moochelle for 20 years of marriage! Yuck. Don't know about anyone else but the "sweetie" line made me nauseous. If possible even worse than Al Gore's "kiss" to Tipper! Ewwww!

Plus, did you notice that there was a pause before he said "sweetie" - like it was an add-on and not heart-felt expression.

#1. Obama said that, but didn't really mean it.

#2. He only said it because he was stalling, wasn't prepared for the debate, and didn't know what he was talking about the whole evening.

They are two of the most glamorous women in the world, their every outfit forensically examined by fashionistas--and each will give birth to her first child in July. But when it comes to the style stakes, any similarities between the Duchess of Cambridge and reality star Kim Kardashian end there. Kate, 31, has always been the epitome of elegance and at six months is still svelte, with a barely-visible Royal bump. She has also stayed loyal to her classic dress style, favouring demure wrap dresses and beautifully tailored coats. Kim appears to have taken it less easily in her high-heeled

A coral reef in Northern Australia severely damaged by warming seas has managed to completely heal itself in just 12 years, stunned researchers have found. The team found that being left alone to breed on its own was key. The discovery raises hope that other damaged reefs could ´regenerate´. The new research shows that an isolated reef off the northwest coast of Australia that was severely damaged by a period of warming in 1998. It was hit by coral bleaching, caused by higher water temperatures that break down the coral´s symbiotic relationship with algae that provide food for coral growth.

Hackers posted a picture of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un portrayed as a pig on the country´s official flickr account today. The account and the official Uriminzokkiri Twitter account were apparently hacked today as tensions in the Korean Peninsula continued to rise. The North’s Uriminzokkiri Twitter and Flickr accounts stopped sending out content typical of that posted by the regime in Pyongyang, such as photos of North’s leader Kim Jong Un meeting with military officials. Instead, a picture posted today showed Kim’s face with a pig-like snout and a drawing of Mickey Mouse on his chest.

As the US and China grow increasingly involved, Kim Jong-un must be brought into line if war is not to be triggered by an act of recklessness. There are two schools of thought about what lies behind North Korea’s increasingly frenzied posturing. The first goes like this: the rhetoric emanating from Pyongyang--including calls to “break the waists of the crazy enemies [and] totally cut their windpipes”--is no worse than their decades-old ritualistic promises to turn South Korea into a “sea of fire”. What we are witnessing, according to this theory, is nothing more than an inexperienced leader

Anyone who remembers the halcyon dreams of the 1990s, of civil society spreading the world over, heralding a new peaceful, global millennium, must marvel at the path the young 21st century has taken. Even those who paid attention to global Jihad before the millennium could not imagine how vulnerable the West would prove in the coming, wildly asymmetrical war. Those who, over the course of the last 13 years, have awakened to the ever-growing danger of Islamism and to the astonishing inability of decent people--Muslims and non-Muslims--to effectively oppose its aggressions, owe themselves a brief lesson in cognitive warfare, and
