Obama HHS to Force Bible
Publisher to Kneel to
Contraceptive Mandate

PJ Media, by Bryan Preston

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 10/3/2012 10:21:40 AM

We now have the US government dictating who is and who is not sufficiently religious to escape the ObamaCare abortifacient mandate. The Obama administration is claiming that a dedicated Christian publisher of Bibles and ministry material is insufficiently religious to qualify for an exemption to the contraception mandate in the president’s health-care overhaul. According to a federal lawsuit filed Tuesday in the District of Columbia by Tyndale House Publishers, the company has been refused a “religious employer” exemption because the Health and Human Services Department categorically maintains that any for-profit publisher is not a “religious employer.”

Comments:
You couldn't make this up if you had to. It's getting so tiresome living in an alternate universe. They're not a religious employer and they publish Bibles?? Stunning. Just stunning.

Does anyone else remember why the most perfect comic strip of all time is no longer being written?

Google "Bill Watterson" and read the Wikipedia article about him. It is a real-life case of Atlas shrugging. To this day, I miss "Calvin and Hobbes" but I have enormous respect for its creator and his refusal to bow to the rules of syndication. He won.

When do we simply NOT comply anymore? What is the tipping point?

As much as I hate to admit it, the goobermint is probably right on this one. Tyndale is a book publisher, regardless of what they specialize in. Unless they are owned and operated by a church or a denomination which publishes as a side operation to their normal religious activities, they are are unfortunately trapped by the ObamaCare law as now written. Thanks, Justice Roberts! Of course, they could take the Vietnam draft resistor course and claim conscientious objector status and engage in a little civil disobedience, but they do so at their own risk. Forcing citizens to engage in acts that go against religious beliefs and conscience is why ObamaCare must be repealled in its entirety. Thanks again, Justice Roberts!

This is just the beginning. And this is why we need to stand with the Catholic Church, whether or not we are Catholic or agree with Catholic doctrine, or even Christian or any other religious doctrine.

The Catholic Church is the largest and most organized Church. The BO regime must destroy it.

All leftist/communist regimes demolish religious expression, liberty. The State must be all and in all.

This is about Liberty, about our First Amendment. If they can chip away Religious Liberty, the rest of the Amendment falls apart. Then, there is nothing left, because everything hinges on these First Amendment Rights.

This is also why the corruption of the Press is so very, very serious and destructive of this Republic.

This is an incredibly audacious action. Call your Congressmen.

I'll bet #4 is right.

Is this suppression coming to us under a second Obama term.

The members of the Taylor family who own Tyndale House are deeply devoted Christian people. Their business was started after the late Kenneth Taylor penned the Living Bible so his children would better understand the Bible. This is not just a "business." It is a family-owned ministry. All this makes one wonder what kind of demonic forces are at work in the Obama administration.

Its time for all the private businessmen to go "Galt". Just close down their businesses and refuse to cave to the dictator and his regime. Once the people start revolting over the loss of jobs things will change. Of course Zippy is such an idealogue, he wouldn't change even if the peasants were waving burning torches and pitch forks around the gates of the White House.

When the bombs went off at the Boston Marathon, highly trained dogs were rushed to the scene to search for more explosives. Boston police have said dogs swept the streets in the morning and a second time just an hour before the first marathoners crossed the finish line. It´s considered likely that the bombers planted their devices well after the dogs finished sweeping the area. Since 9/11, dogs have been used more than ever because nothing has proven more effective against hidden bombs than the nose of a working dog. The best of them serve with U.S. Special Operations

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the surviving suspect in the Boston Marathon bombings, is awake in a Boston hospital and responding in writing to questions, a law enforcement official said Sunday. Investigators who have been waiting to interrogate Tsarnaev are looking into the possibility that his neck wound was self inflicted, a federal law enforcement official said. The official, who has been briefed on the matter but is not authorized to comment publicly, said that suspicions of a suicide attempt before he was captured center on the small appearance of the entry wound and larger exit wound area.
