Yesterday, Pres. Obama proclaimed October 2012 “National Energy Action Month.” “I call upon the citizens of the United States to recognize this month by working together to achieve greater energy security, a more robust economy, and a healthier environment for our children,” Obama declared. Sen. James Inhofe (R-Okla.), Ranking Member of the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works, took exception to Pres. Obama’s proclamation of National Energy Action Month, saying “Every month should be national energy month.” “Every day of the year Americans should be able to develop our resources to create millions of new jobs and supply

When we get Obie and the EPA out of our way we can have a truly honest National Energy policy.
This guy is one big lying snake oil salesman.

Mr. Obama is only doing this as a PR scheme ahead of the election. Dr. Chu who he appointed to head Energy wants us paying $8 a gallon for gasoline.

Mr. Obama is a media protected fraud.

Look, we have 35 days of hard work ahead. We absolutely must do whatever is in our personal power to help defeat Obama.

Pray. Donate. Volunteer. Post polite, winning comments on news sites all over the country. And vote, even if you have to crawl uphill both ways in the snow. And politely explain to everyone you know, that Obama is spending us into bankruptcy, and as wonderful as it would be to give everyone everything (nonsense), we just don't have the money to do so anymore.

Kim Kardashian might be one of the sexiest, wealthiest celebrities around but when it comes to the political arena not everyone is a fan it seems. It´s now come to light that the 33-year-old reality star´s offer to help President Obama in his 2012 campaign for re-election was reportedly met with firm resistance. Kim was said to have approached the president numerous times and act as his ´surrogate´ but Obama and his advisers apparently turned her down, according to RadarOnline. ´They wanted nothing to do with her,´ a source told Radar. ´She was not the young, cool image they wanted

Stephen Colbert will soon be the first openly partisan comic with a late night show on network television. It´s just one reason why today´s news that the liberal host of The Colbert Report will take over for David Letterman on The Late Show smacks of culture, not show business pragmatism. Late night hosts must appeal to a wide audience. So poaching a comedian from the niche-friendly world of cable television makes little sense, particularly a figure with a hard-partisan persona. Yes, Colbert plays a "conservative" on his Comedy Central program, but it´s just a pose to mock the right and

Cantor “made a pledge that he would help” Rep. Jeff Denham (R-CA) enact the proposal, McKeon said at a roundtable on Thursday morning in Washington, D.C. When Jeb Bush comes to New York City Thursday, his main purpose won’t be to raise money for his possible 2016 presidential bid, but to begin two days of meetings with his employer, the big Wall Street firm Barclays Capital, FOX Business has learned. Bush’s trip, confirmed by people close to the former Florida governor, is raising eyebrows among some Republican fund raisers that he remains too cozy with to the financial industry at a time when many voters view Wall Street as toxic. Under the administration of President Obama, as never before in my lifetime, there is reason to be a bit afraid of the federal government. I have written two books documenting Obama´s abuses of power, his assaults on the Constitution, his wars against business and energy, his abominably reckless spending, his divisiveness, his renegade Justice Department, his regulatory expansion, his executive orders, his overall lawlessness, and more. Obama´s conduct concerning Obamacare alone would be enough to get the impeachment wheels rolling for any other president. His flagrant, deliberate lies regarding almost every aspect of that

But among independents, key to President Obama´s victories in the Old Dominion, Gillespie leads 41 percent to 39 percent, and he has the edge among Hispanics, 39 percent to 34 percent. President Obama argued on Thursday government needed to provide not only "the absence of oppression" but also "the presence of economic opportunity" as the nation sought to secure the gains of the civil rights movement. In a sweeping half-hour speech at the Lyndon Johnson Presidential Library in Austin, Obama credited the former president as an exemplar of what lawmakers should do when granted power. He said the president and former Senate Majority Leader never forgot his humble roots in poverty, and credited that background with driving Johnson´s push for the Civil Rights Act of 1964. How does the Republican Party establishment choose its presidential candidate? Typically, constitutionalists accuse their establishment rivals of being moderate, risk-averse, stubborn old fools who lack faith in conservative principles. This is a soothing interpretation, as it begins from the hypothesis that the contest between conservatives and the GOP elite is a family feud. But there is another hypothesis -- less soothing, but, at least from an outsider´s bird´s-eye view, more reconcilable with the facts. This hypothesis is that America has reached a stage of progressive soft despotism in which the only important family feud in national politics is between the fundamentally

A caveat right off the bat: RAND’s estimate only runs through March 28 whereas the actual deadline for signing up was March 31st. Given the crush of traffic on Healthcare.gov in late March, many more people could have signed up over those last three days than were captured by these numbers. On the other hand, the White House was claiming six million sign-ups as of March 27. There’s no way to reconcile that with RAND’s data. One of them is wrong. Maybe both, in fact.
