Benghazi: The Unanswered Question
Powerline, by John Hinderaker

Original Article

It is a common tactic among politicians and others who are in trouble to plead guilty to a lesser offense in order to distract attention from their real transgression. That is, I think, what the Obama administration has done in admitting belatedly that the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi was an act of terrorism, not, as Mark Steyn put it, a movie review that got out of hand. Scott detailed that sorry history earlier this morning. The administration hopes, I think, that acknowledging the obvious with respect to the nature of the attack will allow the press

This whole thing is just unbelievably disturbing. It is beyond me how people can simply shrug their shoulders and look the other way -- the media, our elected officials, or anybody else.

OP, Ambassador Stevens is having that conversation with Ron Brown.

Clinton Commerce Secretary Ron Brown was being investigated by Reno and working on an oil deal between Croatia and Enron when he died in a plane crash. What did Stevens know and what else was he working on?

This horror has been going on for a very long time. It is long past time for us to do something about it.

The regents of the University of Michigan (UM) granted a hefty tuition discount to students who are in the country illegally. The vote to establish in-state tuition rates for illegal immigrants took place on Thursday, following months of discussion over the issue. The two Republican members of the Board of Regents voted against the measure. Under the old tuition policy, illegal immigrants living in the state of Michigan were automatically considered out-of-state students. Now all residents of Michigan, regardless of whether they lawfully entered the U.S., will enjoy in-state tuition rates. The difference between in-state

In January, Rush Limbaugh warned that there was “an effort under way to normalize pedophilia,” and was ridiculed by liberals (including CNN’s Soledad O’Brien) for saying so. WASHINGTON — While momentum has been building inside the House Republican conference for a special congressional committee to investigate last year’s terrorist attacks in Benghazi, the GOP leadership is making it clear they still have no enthusiasm for establishing such a committee. Frank Wolf of Virginia to establish “a select committee to investigate and report on the attack on the United States consulate in Benghazi, Libya.”“I think there’s a lot of frustration up here among members

Rejecting the rigidly hierarchical and stratified societies of the ancient world, Jesus Christ taught the equal dignity of all persons, proclaimed that the meek shall inherit the earth, and declared that the last shall be first and the first shall be last. The Western world has been working out the logic of these subversive teachings ever since, with the institutional transformation of marriage being the latest, though surely not the last, example of its social, moral,
