| The Job Report: Another month, another drop in payrolls. Will it ever occur to our leaders in Washington that what they're doing isn't working — and may actually be damaging our economy? News that the unemployment rate jumped to 10.2% in October, its highest level since 1983, as the economy shed 190,000 nonfarm jobs, underscores the spectacular failure of the so-called fiscal stimulus to stimulate anything other than economic misery.

Time to bring back the misery index and for Obama to go on TV and tell people to wear sweaters to stay warm.

#1 is right. How else do you condition a successful, self-reliant population to be reliant on handouts and worship the "supreme leadership" that is allowing you to eke out being alive.

Don't kid yourselves. This is the way BHO&Co want it.

FTA: Businesses are hunkered down. They have $1 trillion in cash stashed away, but they won't invest out of fear it'll be taxed away or some government czar will tell them how to run their business.
Note that almost all of the non-Marxist countried have already shed the recession cloak and are move ahead nicely - the obami are determined to break the backs and will of Americans.

Can anybody guess what this percentage will be soon if the so-called health "care" atrocity passes?

But Obama said he associates himself with people like Paul Volcker and Warren Buffet! Surely, they'll give him a heads up. /s

Nancy's bill just passed the House about 15 minutes ago. 1 Republican voted for it - don't know who yet. After spending time in Washington DC and calling my Representative so many times and e-mailing him, all to no avail I am so furious that I can hardly control myself. I know that we still have a ways to go before it becomes law, but it is unbelievable that these people can't see what they are doing to America.
These people have to be stopped - 2010 can't come quickly enough. This monstrosity has got to be repealed in 2010. So many more things also have to be dismantled and repealed, too. Vote in Republicans who have promised to be fiscal conservatives and, hopefully, social conservatives, but right now they've got to at least be fiscal conservatives.
