Comments: Big, big celebrations in Germany, a truly joyful day, something really good for Germany.
The Bam can't be bothered though.

In Chancellor Merkel's speech to a joint session of Congress last week she profusely thanked RR and Bush I. Also honorably mentioned Bush II. I didn't hear the whole speech but what I did hear didn't include the Zip.

It was "lucky" that that warmongering, missile-placing, freedom-loving Ronald Reagan, who would not kowtow to the Soviets OR to the leftist in government and the media, was President of the United States. He's the one who, for twenty years, has deserved the Nobel Peace Prize, not that narcissistic self-promoter we have now.

I had been thinking that Merkel was a smart and sophisticated political figure. But in her speech to Congress she spoke as if global warming was the world's biggest problem. That tells me she has a screw loose somewhere.

The wall came down due to the work of Ronald Reagan, Margaret Thatcher, John Paul II and Helmut Kohl. These brave and heroic historical figures stood up to the gratest tryanny in human history and defeated it.

Luck, hell. Y'all can thank Ronald Reagan, Maggie Thatcher and JPII for that.
