A calculated cool-down
Tampa Tribune, by Patrick Bohlen

On Oct. 21, 13 of the nation's leading professional agricultural, biological, chemical and geological organizations sent a joint letter to the U.S. Senate urging it to adopt policies that would limit U.S. greenhouse gas emissions. "Observations throughout the world make it clear that climate change is occurring, and rigorous scientific research demonstrates that greenhouse gases emitted by human activities are the primary driver," they wrote. At the same time, a recent

Comments:
The Tribune has drunk Gore's Kool Aid, and is inundating its readers with false data on anthropogenic climate change. For shame. Are the Tribune editors this gullible? Have they ever heard of the fallacy of the appeal to common opinion? Besides, if it's common opinion they want to make their dying ground, what about the 31,000 scientists who have signed a petition doubting significant human contribution to climate change?

Or maybe American's aren't believing the global warming hype because of the finally acknowledged ''no measurable warming for the past ten years.'' What, even while CO2 levels were rising? Nobody's climate modeling programs can account for these two simple facts. Therefore the programs are wrong...

Mr. Bohlen appears to have lost his head drinking AGW nonsense. This AGW nonsense is anti american (western) marxist propaganda to destroy our economy. Thankfully China and India refuse to play along with these economy wrecking proposals. That has slowed down the anti american parade and has allowed us time to show the AGW econazis for the frauds that they are. The article fails to show how none of the climate change propagandists ('scientists') models predicted the lack of global warming over the past ten years, or how or why the underlying scientific data supporting such alleged climate change data now has mysteriously disappeared once the opponents have demanded its production. These anti american scientists (sitting on billions of dollars of taxpayer monies) shout that we must trust them, but they have done nothing to earn that trust.

Actually it has been getting cooler for 11 years, not just ten.

Yep, I'm going to listen to a biologist about global warming and a climatologist about how to make my grass grow.

I am glad for Global Warming or we would still have a sheet of ice 2 miles thick over North America!

The slope on the graph of the rise in global temps has never been higher than what it was in the late 1800's when it started after the little ice-age ended despite the fact that anthropogenic CO2 production was not similarly pronounced until many decades later. The deduction that other forces are causative of the temp rise is clear.
