Here is my study of stress on soldiers: Gun wielding Muslim jihad terrorists cause stress on soldiers.

It's the stress of being a Muslim.

Looks like the Obama Administration is trying to pick oranges off an apple tree as the Muslim jihadist who perpetrated the attack at Fort Hood has never been deployed overseas to a battlefield.

This is ridiculous! What they need is to investigate if there are other radical muslims that have infiltrated the armed forces.

Major Nidal Malik Hasan had not been to war or even close to it. The stress I want him to feel will be around his neck if he recovers. Some fools will excuse anything.

How about the additional stressor of wondering with that soldier named Mohammed, Ahmed, or Jamal is going to shoot you in the back?

None of the thousands of returning GIs did this: it was an officer who never served in Iraq, Afghanistan, or anywhere else. (unless a mosque is a warzone)
The MSM is vile.

Many of the soldiers killed were there because they were re-enlisting, having already served in Afghanistan, Iraq or elsewhere overseas. When will they cover that angle. They had RE-ENLISTED.
I saw firsthand the stress on my brother after a long deployment to Iraq and Afghanistan, so I know it is there, but this incident was not caused by stress, but by Muslim hatred and cowardice.

Crazed killer returning from war is a main stream media theme. Lou Dobbs on CNN also had a similar theme last night. The fact the shooter turned out to be a muslim who hadn't been to war, didn't change his opinion when it was disclosed.
I notice here that Jeff and Viola compared suspected suicides to last years proven suicides. The studies I've seen have shown that violence committed by soldiers is actually lower than the rates for general population males in their age group. The media though never lets facts get in the way of stories that fit their biases.

35,000 I heard. It's fine with me to have Muslims serving, but this PC stuff has got to stop. This Hasan was a clear bad egg and no one did anything, because they were afraid to challenge multiculturalism. Result: thirteen people dead.
If Obama can't give us an investigation of how this happened, I wouldn't advise anyone to serve in the armed forces. Let the Democrats do it themselves.

About 3600 ( give or take) muslims are in the U.S armed forces. Islam is the cancer of the civlized world.

No muslim should be allowed to serve the U.S. in our military, because a muslim must serve Allah and Mohammed first. That is a fact. You people might remember an obscure fact about the days after 9/11/01. A muslim FBI agent was allowed to excuse himself from any operations or interrogations against fellow muslims, because, well, they were muslims and so was he. We have an internal enemy in our military worse than any in our history. And this administration will not do a damned thing about it, since the undocumented president, in his early years, was raised and educated a muslim. I tried to warn you people...

Before all the odious facts came out (quite early), a republican representative was on FNC talking about post-traumatic stress on the military, blah, blah. What kind of stress did this "devout" muslim experience? He wasn't an American soldier who's put his/her life on the line in Godforsaken hell-holes around the globe trying to straighten out demons.

Several previous posters are correct, Major Nidal Malik Hasan had never been in a war zone. This is not a case of "Stress on Soldiers".
What is it? Major Nidal Malik Hasan radical Islamic views were known by his superiors and peers. This is a case of political correctness being shoved down our throats!
I think this guy should be sent to Afghanistan and forced to lead a patrol without a weapon. Let him find out first hand how loving his Muslim brothers are.

But...I thought Obama said not to jump to a conclusion? So why is his administration using this as a pretext to look into stress in the military? Isn't that...jumping to conclusions?

Thanks to the latest homicidal Muslim fanatic it is no longer necessary for troops to experience combat or even have been in a war zone to suffer combat stress. The United States Army cannot keep its soldiers safe from its own medical officers at a major military installation on U.S. soil. What must it be like henceforth for troops to have to wonder whether they will suddenly be murdered by members of their own military - their own officers and physicians?

How many more soldiers must die on the alter of political correctness before the Army stops ignoring the threat from within. The blood of these brave warriors are on the hands of the military brass who tolerate treasonous expressions in its own ranks.

All the craziness in congress is stressing me greatly. If I take a gun or bomb and go down to D.C. and start killing Dems as they walk the streets will the media and administration make up excuses for me? I think not.
