House Speaker Nancy Pelosi all-but-predicted passage of a House health reform bill Saturday, following an emotional appeal from President Barack Obama to fellow Democrats urging them to “answer the call of history” and vote yes. “Now’s the time to finish the job,” Obama said in the Rose Garden, following a 30-minute closed-door meeting with the House Democratic caucus on Capitol Hill.

The only history I want made today is that the marxist shrew Pelosi falls flat on her botoxed face.

Yes, it will be remembered as being historical. When America was brought down after having survived generations of evildoers and Antichrists. The only thing is, there won't be any real historians at some point to record it. (Not on this plane.)

I think, #2, that there will indeed be historians sometime in the future, somewhere, who will record the death of America at the hands of the current democrats in all public offices. Remember "Farenheit 451" and "Roots." People will remember, just as the gospel writers remembered what Jesus said and did, just as some remembered what Caesar did and wrote, even as we are learning more and more about the Soviet Union with the opening of more and more records from the past. Now, whether at that point anyone will care, anymore than anyone really cares about what happened to the Greek or Roman Empires, is open to conjecture. However, for anyone in the future who reads about the United States of America that once was and takes an interest in it and feels sad that it couldn't continue, that something that was so good and could have continued to be good died, the names of people like Obama and Pelosi will be as reviled as those of Hitler, Mao, Atilla, Nero, etc. They will have their moment of glory now, but people in times to come will know the truth and will consign these people to the same pit

History will be made in November of 2010 when the traitors to America get voted out of office. If NJ and Viginia can overcome obama than the rest of the USA can boot out their local NON representitives.

I agree with #4. I think we will have to wait until 2010 to get our house back in order. I think this Health Care bill is ALL ABOUT NANCY. SHE is the Star, not Obama. I also think that ANY of the Blue Dogs, who think they now have cover, vote for this Bill will pay with their jobs in 2010. This isn't some little nothing Bill. It is HUGE! It will affect every American, their Health Care and their Pocketbook. They will NOT FORGET by November 2010. They will NOT accept EXCUSES from those Blue Dogs. I also think MANY DEMOCRATS from Blue States will be voted out. NOBODY is safe. If they think the Tea Party movement is growing, they haven't seen ANYTHING yet. Just pass that Bill and see what happens!

She is driven like someone possessed. It's creepy beyond words. Deliver us from evil, oh Lord.

What Obie really meant was "Now is the time to finish the country". He is definitely on a path to totally wreck the U.S. and its successful capitalist system.

The "finish the job" wording sounds eerily like a mafioso trying to give an assassin a little encouragement right before he is to drop a couple of loads behind the ear on an unsuspecting dupe.

We are the dupes. We elected these people and we are taking it right behind the ear. Enjoy the ride. It will be a short one.

The headline alone is enough to gag a maggot.

If this thing ever becomes law does anybody think the rats will ever pay a price? Look how they operate! Fauxbama can't speak for 5 minutes without whining about Bush & the republicans. When the ill effects of this bill become real rather than imagined the rats, aided & abetted by the media, will blame republicans (who will no doubt be in power by then).

I can see it already.

Don't despair, it will likely NOT pass the Senate anyway. If the House bows to Madame Speaker it will help promote the 2010 turnover.
