How does one "win" the Medal of Honor? I thought it was given, or bestowed. I mean, how does one compete for it? Does a big bunch of money come with it like the Nobel Peace Prize? His remarks were hollow and distant. I couldn't detect genuine caring, anger, or outrage. The guy just doesn't have a "feel" for the American military of which he is commander in chief. Glad somebody else noticed this.

I have a loathing for Obama now that has no limit. His cavalier attitude toward this tragedy, his "no jumping to conclusions" (unlike his jumping to conclusions about a Boston cop arresting a foul-mouthed, race-baiting Harvard professor), his sociopathic unwillingness to empathize (because it's not about him), and his cronies' crass remarks that this murder spree will "distract" the country from passing healthcare legislation . . . . if the stakes were not so high, and the subject so tragic, and the consequences so dire, I might have a maniacal laugh and a righteous anger to get through this -- but right now I am filled with utter sadness for these soldiers and their families.

Our country is in danger of utter collapse because this man-boy marxist and his narcissistic preening and utter disregard for the truth of what makes the USA exceptional and a shining light on the hill. The potent combination of his colossal soulless hubris and the evil machinations of the marxist puppet-masters around him is something only prayer can defeat. Tea parties may win a battle or two, but Divine intervention is needed for the rest.

Spot on #8. And just for pondering, I'd like to throw out my own "truther" version. It's been the Lib/Dems all along who've advocated against war and squawking about how ugly we Americans are and our low standing among other Nations. It has been the Left who want to reach out and 'dialogue' with our enemies, give slight to our allies and do what they can to break down every American ideal. So...perhaps it was from the sludge-pool of well connected Leftists, infiltrated and undetected, who so livid at having Bush as POTUS instead of majik-man Gore, sought out willing jihadists to perform an act of...eh, ...distraction. 9-11 was maybe more than bargained for, but look at the actions and directions of the Left ever since. I'm jes sayin'...

There will always be enemies of America, doing everything they can to destroy my beloved country. The real problem is that too many Americans are quite happy to vote them in to do it.

As to #3's question - I read in an earlier Thread that BO should have said the 'Presidential Medal of Freedom' ... which President Barack Obama himself gave to Chief Crow on August 12, 2009.

Some points of consistency in the news from and about Dems:

--They are the underclass of America, led by the greedy and malevolent of the political class.

--It's hard to find a decent person among Dem pols; easy to name those we wouldn't allow in our homes.

--Don't bother classifying them as *Lib/Dems* because a lot of them don't even know what means. As in: **We're in line because Obama is giving us his money** (or words to that effect).

--I wonder how many American Muslims are registered Dems, or support the Dems.

--Those people are ruining (have ruined) this once-great nation.

--Obama's now-infamous callousness when first commenting on the Ft. Hood Massacre must have been based on his desire to underplay an event tied to a Muslim.

--It is, after all, Barack HUSSEIN Obama. Even he had to know Ft. Hood was a Terrorist Act.


--Who and what Hussein really is was well-known for months before the election. Crossover voters who helped elect him owe America an apology.

I am with poster #8. I have been in that frame of mind for some time. Fight we must, but in the end, only prayer and divine intervention can defeat what the reptilian O-clown has unleashed on our beloved country. Speaking of Narcicism.....when asked about the election results in NJ, and MD, Mr. Jughead said "he hadn't paid attention" When asked what he was doing.....he said he spent the evening watching the vidio about HIS presidential campaign! Say no more.

I am constantly reminded of an interview with a psychologist talking about Scott Peterson (who murdered his pregnant wife) and what it means to be a sociopath. They literally have no emotions. No conscience. They don't have any feeling at all about others. NONE. Think about that...... We can't even comprehend what is is like to have no regard at all toward others. It was my impression over decades that one didn't 'win' a medal, purple heart or medal of honor, but rather 'held' it - one recieves the honor as a result of action ... unlike the WH occupant and his plastic Nobel.
