Today, Ranking Member of the House Ways and Means Committee Dave Camp (R-MI) released a letter from the non-partisan Joint Committee on Taxation (JCT) confirming that the failure to comply with the individual mandate to buy health insurance contained in the Pelosi health care bill (H.R. 3962, as amended) could land people in jail. The JCT letter makes clear that Americans who do not maintain “acceptable health insurance coverage” and who choose not to pay

Can one assume that one is provided with acceptable health insurance coverage in prison?

These people are insane.

I hope the Source Name gets repaired so this can stay open.

Hey, what's the problem? Everybody can afford an extra $1,250.00 a month - Right?

When I was getting family coverage in 2007 I was paying $400 a month. So this government thingy looks to be a real great deal - of crapulance.

I apologize for messing this up. I tried the best I could to do it correctly, but I am not very good. Maybe some one can erase my stuff and put the right stuff in. It seems to be an article from a Congressional information site. Hell, I don't know what I am doing, but it really seems important for people to know about this.

This has to be the most hated woman in America.

G-d save US all.

They cant' throw us all in jail. Who would pay for all of their pet projects? See, I don't make money to give to the guvmnt if I'm sitting in a jail cell do I? This is the kind of assanininity that is coming from the Democratic party these days. You better do what we say or we'll throw you in jail. Right. Good luck with that plan. It's like the idea that they could possibly collect all of the firearms in this country. Who's going to go into east LA or Cabrini Green or the backwoods of Maine and take them? No one who wants to come out alive. It's great to flex your muscles, but you better have the juice to use them.

Oh, so this is their great idea for making sure EVERYONE is insured?!!! These people are freaks. Do they think that half of America, the Red States, are THAT stupid as to buy into something like this?

Granny Pelosi, please, go back home to your little grandchildren and your vineyards and just LEAVE US ALL ALONE, would you!

Hey, you bulletproof (and broke) twentysomethings, this means Y-O-U!
So how's that hopeychange now?

They put a lien on your home. Then they toss you in jail. No carrot, just a stick and a bigger stick. And they go after the folks who've been paying the bills all along first, so they can have the means to cover the slackers, illegals and irresponcible. Tell me, what plan will your common street thug drug dealer who pulls in a six-figure black-market tax-free-income have to purchace. And what's the deductable for a bullet wound from a failed crack cocain transaction? Or an OD on meth?

They put this mandate in the bill and then stand in front of TV cameras and tell us they are just looking out for everyone. Yeah right, pay up or go to jail. How caring and thoughtful. That bug eyed freak Pelosi is evil. Trusting anything she has to say is like asking the Boston strangler to massage your neck.

#4 - Nothing negative meant, I assure you. I even tried to copy from the site header and got the same initial results as you (the word 'logo'). I was making a plea to the powers that be to keep this up because of the important content.

Most people use Facebook as a ''stay in contact'' kinda thing. I use it to attempt to do the job our ''free press'' seems to neglect - report the truth. This is the kinda stuff I put up there to let people know what MSNBC et al are not reporting.

Nancy Pelosi...

You are a nightmare. A nightmare. A horrible, terrible nightmare.

I force myself to look at Kos and DemoRat Underground about this. A lot of libs there are screaming about how awful this is. Some are saying how "we have been sold out".

Hey libs, you voted for him. Enjoy this hopey changey. You are responsible for it.

I do take some solace in knowing that the Obama worshipers will have to deal with this madness just like we will have to.

I have never been so proud of my vote for the loosing Republican even though I had to hold my nose. I did not vote for the idiot or his supporters. I hope that all who did are getting sick.

This sounds like a cadillac plan to me and cadillac plans are taxed. In other words, a revenue generator.

Reply 19 - Posted by: bugger, 11/7/2009 7:02:40 AM     (No. 6007652)

I sent this out to almost everyone I know. This is outrageous and insane. I don't have $15000 and if I did I wouldn't give it to them. I have already decided that if any such plan is passed I will immediately empty my bank account and stash my money where they won't find it.

#13. Sweetiepie. I absolutely know you were not being mean. Never. No way. Trust me. I am sincerely doing a mia culpa for being the resident posting dork.
I think this should be a must read for everyone in America. xoxoxo

# 19, you might want to do that anyway. Just leave a token amount to keep the checking account open.

Simple. This is how we pay for the indigent.

When "We the People..." take back our country, she needs to go to jail for the false statements made concerning the CIA. There she will recieve health care better than what her and her party propose for the American people.
