Obama Searching for the Root
Causes of Ft. Hood Massacre

Weekly Standard, by Michael Goldfarb

It looks like the man who killed 13 soldiers and police at Ft. Hood was a Muslim radical who hated America, resented our occupation of Muslim lands, would not be photographed with women, and chanted "Allahu Akbar" before he launched a one-man terrorist attack, but according to CBS White House Correspondent Mark Knoller, Obama wants to know what really made him do it: Obama said he met today with FBI Director et al to discuss

Careful..Obama will use this as a "teaching moment" to let us know the terrorist only wanted the Democrat's healthcare bill passed.

Don't waste your precious golf time on this one, Barry. We don't care about the root causes or this man's mental or religious issues. We want him to die from a lethal injection ASAP, if he ever comes out of his coma.

Besides, you couldn't find your butt with both hands and a flashlight. Ears yes, butt no.

Well, he really wasn't a
'terrorist-terrorist.'

Wasn't O.J. doing something similar for years and years....searching for his wife's killer....on golf courses around the country?

Brothers.

Mr. Obama is searching for a way to spin this to the Muslim's advantage.

I can't remember the exact Wm. F. Buckley statement but it was, re: Eleanor Roosevelt, I think, "Searching through her statements for inconsistencies, is like following a burning fuse, you're going to find dynamite at the end."

Searching for the 'root cause' of the Ft. Hood Massacre is stupid. The mooslim dirtbag who yelled 'allahu akbar' thought himself a jihadist, a mooslim warrior. None of these people should be allowed on an Army base, much less in uniform.

Kudos to the woman who shot him. Oh, that she'd have put one round between his mooslim eyes!

Reply 7 - Posted by: shamus, 11/6/2009 7:53:38 PM     (No. 6006616)

The violence at Ft. Hood was due to the lack of universal health care.

Reply 8 - Posted by: retiree, 11/6/2009 7:53:58 PM     (No. 6006618)

In my humble opinion, I think it was because of his so called religion. He didn't want to go where they are searching out his muslim brothers.
He would rather see anyone who wasn't muslim killed.
As far as him having to go over there, he would never be on the front lines. He wasn't a foot soldier, airman or artillery.
He was trained as a doctor on our tax dollars, not as a fighter.

Of course the root causes will always be the same: economic deprivation, exploitation and oppression by the imperialists and capitalists. Leftists like Mr. Obama are simply unable to comprehend anything but "the objective material conditions" of Marxism. They dismiss religion, all religion as merely false consciousness and ideological superstructure. Even when homicidal Muslim fanatics proclaim their motives in the plainest possible way sophisticates like Mr. Obama know better, pity them for their ignorance of their own minds and hearts, and turn them into proletarians whose consciousness requires raising. There is almost a Christian angle to this of "forgive them for they know not what they do."

The storyline will be the same old BS. The Christians bullied the poor little baby and made him do it. Gee how I hate the LSM and Zero.

A little off topic but not for o, did you all hear Chris Cizilla from the WaPo tonight on Bret's show? His first comment about what he was thinking today regarding Ft. Hood was what an inconvenience for obama, trying to get his healthcare scam passed...Un.be.lievable.

Reply 16 - Posted by: Cedarina, 11/6/2009 8:08:48 PM     (No. 6006671)

The root cause was due to the fact that he was a Muslim and they want all infidels to be killed. He was just doing what his religion told him to do.

No Muslims should be allowed in the military. We got along without them before and we'll get along without them now.

Muslims in the military is like closing the barn door after the cow's gone.

If the clueless dolt in the White House is still searching for "root causes", he'll never get an answer. #12, what is Islam about, apart from torturing, kidnapping, slashing, and killing?

Reply 19 - Posted by: Photoonist, 11/6/2009 8:17:57 PM     (No. 6006697)

Direct translation: 0bama is looking for a way that his administration and the orders that have come through HIS Department of Homeland Security and senior military officers gets none of the blame.

Reply 20 - Posted by: GreatPlains, 11/6/2009 8:19:47 PM     (No. 6006705)

The White House made a huge tactical error by siding and defending the Ft Hood mass murderer.
Barry's giggling " shout out " while the lives of our soldiers were ebbing away , was grotesque
and offensive enough, but,
the continued fantasy that the Muslim radical and mass murderer was some how justified
is beyond basic decency.
All Republicans should be stepping away from the White House and
condemning the Muslim mass murderer and standing up for our military.
We will remember this next November.

FTA: We must also engage, however, in the more difficult task of understanding the sources of such madness. The essence of this tragedy, it seems to me, derives from a fundamental absence of empathy on the part of the attackers: an inability to imagine, or connect with, the humanity and suffering of others. Such a failure of empathy, such numbness to the pain of a child or the desperation of a parent, is not innate; nor, history tells us, is it unique to a particular culture, religion, or ethnicity. It may find expression in a particular brand of violence, and may be channeled by particular demagogues or fanatics. Most often, though, it grows out of a climate of poverty and ignorance, helplessness and despair." BHO's speech after 9/11.

Seems to me this describes himself from "fundamental absence of empathy" until the climate of poverty, etc."

Actually #11 - You are right. Because we will suffer for years over George W. Bush's gutless "war on terror" gibberish. W did some good things and kept us safe for 7 years, but he made so many serious mistakes I am not truly unhappy when the Deomcrats use him as their knee jerk excuse for all things evil. They are not wrong as the "compassionate communist" crowd want us to think.

Funny fellow, the President. After admitting he didn't know any of the details of what happened in Cambridge, MA, he was still able to announce the police "acted stupidly". Now despite all the evidence relative to Malik he's all at sea as to what could have possibly caused this. Maybe simple logic is above his pay grade.

Root cause? Try the Koran/Qur'an.

Reply 35 - Posted by: tulunk, 11/6/2009 8:57:08 PM     (No. 6006786)

Tonight there was an interview with the guy's imam who said Hasan came to the mosque for help getting a "good" muslim wife--one who would be submissive, happy to wear the watchimacallit head to toe black outfit, stay home, and adhere in all ways to the ways of Islam. So far, the imam reported, he had no luck. Well, dang. What's wrong with us American women, anyway? Anyway, BO, the root cause is political correctness that allowed this creep to stay in our military.

After listening to Obama for almost a year now, every day, I am not surprised that some one might get so upset with what he is doing to this country. Each day, Obama does another liberal, marxist things.
I think there is no way to get our country back. I think it is changed and gone forever....

It's so obvious. Just blame George W Bush - he is damn good at this.

It'll go like this: If Bush hadn't started his war of choice, Major Killer Hassan would not have been mortified over his impending deployment to Iraq. He did not want to go and become a member of Obama's troops whose main job is to kill Muslims. So he would rather kill would-be Muslim killers.

Anyway, Eric Holder will go to the hospital Hassan is read his Miranda rights and there will no torture of any kind, not even touching his hair.

"We want him to die from a lethal injection ASAP, if he ever comes out of his coma."

I would think death by firing squad is more appropriate. I have been told that the army still uses the rope and there is only one hangman. Heh.

There is an interesting irony here.

Hasan is said to have dodged women all of his life.

A woman peace officer put him out of business. Walked right up and shot him four times. Dropped him.

Karma.

One of the Boston radio jocks has pointed out what will be the only good moment in this atrocity.

It will be when this savage comes out of the coma and asks who got him and is told he was gunned down by a girl.

An American girl, woman, heroine. A free and independent person who will never wear a black veil.

I hope she runs for office.

And I wish I could see his face at that moment.
