Oh right, nervous and you forgot stupid and racist Beth you moron. No that headline should read Angry citizens reject Mao we resist your healthcare power grab and we insist: DON'T TREAD ON ME. And we haven't even begun to fight back against a socialist takeover of our democracy and Constitution. Believe it.

Now is the time to send pink slips to our representatives. That will make sure that they get the message. I'd like to see Pelosi, Reid, Hoyer and Frank nervous for once and not so arrogantly stupid. That's the kind of change I'd like to see.

Barack (the original mohammed's horse's name--the one he allegedly flew to heaven on) Hussein Obama promised to ''fundamentally change a flawed America.'' Now he is trying to live up to that promise. Only some people were too anxious to get their ''free stuff'' to pay attention to what he meant. Now it is becoming clear, even to his mindless sycophants. And, as staff noted, some are not so much nervous as terrified.

This voter in VA isn't nervous. He's p$#$#@ the heck off. here is my message to DC: KNOCK IT OFF!!!! Or you morons are next in 2010!
I think it is well worth noting that Northern VA voters are tuned in very much to national politics, with DC right across the river. And McDonnell won Northern VA and VA overwhelmingly, even made it close in lib Fairfax county. This means something.

Exactly #13. Weeks ago I posted my unscientific poll based on yard signs and bumper stickers here in Northern Virginia - McDonnell's were everywhere and I had not seen a single one for Deeds. My poll was ridiculed by other posters but it turns out to have been right on the mark. Great day to be a conservative!

The northern suburbs of Virginia - yes, tend to be very liberal and Democrat - most people work for the federal govt as either a federal employee or contractor, so this area tends to be somewhat insulated from economic woes that affect the rest of the state/country. However, as I posted elsewhere, we've also got a state that has no money to keep rest stops open on major interstates into northen VA - pretty sad. I'll bet the rest stops are open on the Jersey Turnpike. Also, the housing market in No. Virginia tends also to be somewhat insulated, but assessed values of homes have decreased, tax bills have increased, selling is taking longer and in a county like Prince William (Manassas, VA area) they really got slammed by all the homes sold to illegals, and others who cold not afford them with huge swaths of neighborhood being foreclosed. Yeah, that hope and change - what a deal.

Barbaric Political Analysis:
All you need to know about the '08 and '09 elections...
#1- in '08, the so-called 'independent' voters thought it would be way cool to vote for a black guy that seemed to be 'moderate'...
#2- after just one year, the same 'independents' have realized that he's a Marxist- something that is decidedly NOT COOL.
End of analysis...

Foreclosures are skyrocketing, along with bankruptcies. People are being driven out of their homes by Obama. Unemployment is through the roof and only going to get worse. Employers won't hire because of Obama. People are having to live under very tight budgets. Obama's and Pelosi's government spends money it doesn't have with no repercussions.
Put it in your own words and make a mantra out of it. Then go repeat to everyone who will listen. Point out how much worse off people are under this Congress and this President.
Get the word out, not just preaching to the choir, but to everyone you meet. The only way we'll restore sanity to this country is to restore fiscal sanity, and that does resonate with cash-strapped, jobless, homeless voters.

The voters, myself included, can send all the messages they want... chances are they will be ignored just as the Town Hall protestors, the Tea Party participants and all of the telephone calls and letters written to our less than respectable Congressman and Senators have been ignored.
The elected idiots in D.C. have one thing in mind: CONTROL. They can afford to lose their legislative seats in 2010 because in time they will be back and we will be suffering under nationalized health care and cap & trade policies, all designed to create the socialist run country most of them seem to have in mind.
Our best and only bet is to not elect incumbents in 2010, and again in 2012. It won't happen and they, the closet socialists, know it.

Re: #21-- Not only would it be "way cool" to vote for the black guy, but the other side of it is the fear of being considered a racist, or "prejudiced."
To put it a bit differently-- many independents displayed an irrational eagerness to demonstrate to the world that they are NOT racists. We could call such people *stigmaphobes*.
The stigmaphobe-in-chief is Bill "I Want to be Fair to President Obama" O'Reilly. I can't watch his show because his incessant "Let me give President Obama the benefit of the doubt" triggers my gag reflex. (Though the libs that comprise one-third of his audience love it, I'm sure-- and he's sure.)
Most independent stigmaphobes, and other kinds, gave Obama the benefit, and there are no doubts left. He's a radical Marxist.
They are voting for conservatives now.

I would add to the description of a nervous and angry electorate an addendum of citizens who have lost confidence and trust in their government. The issues I have posted on other threads can be used to illustrate this point:
1 - Job Creation : Why does the Government keep pushing the DOL U-2 employment rate (9.8% for September)as the official metric when most of us know by common sense the real unemployment rate is closer to the September U-6 rate of 17% (probably higher tomorrow when the October numbers are released).
2- Get fiscal house in order : None of our representatives have a clue what government programs costs since they do not read the bills.
3- Government Competence : The financial meltdown could have been prevented if everybody didn't let greed get in the way.
4 - America has nothing to apologize for: We have fixed our own problems. We want a leader who acknowledges that enormous sacrifice of blood and treasure, not an Obama Apology tour.
Incumbents had better watch out in 2010!

"For Obama, it means the 2008 election was not a key to everlasting success. It was the first step in an ongoing journey, and he's going to have to work very hard to continue earning voters' trust."
That horse has already left the barn for Barack. But his cocky reaction to Tuesday's election will be flip; he'll say it doesn't bother him in the least. Meanwhile, behind closed White House doors, he and Rahm will be the ones with the shaking hands because they are cowardly wannabe tough guys. And Michelle will be lamenting the loss of her unlimited free manicures, hair styling and clown wardrobe.

However, everyone seems to forget the old saw that my congressman is ok it is yours that is the skunk in the hen house. Unless we conservatives are willing to march in the streets at least once a month and work our hearts out to get people to vote as conservatives then nothing is gonna change. Nuff said!
