NOT fine and dandy IMHO. Better NO health care bill at all. If they want to start with tort reform first, I might be open to that.

I actually think the timing is perfect, it will provide a nice comparison to the Dem's monstrocity. The argument of it not doing enough is ridiculous, small changes are the way to go. Implement a change, see if it works; if it does, implement more change. No need to change everything all at once.

How about just 1 page rescinding the ruling that prohibits companies from selling insurance in other states.
The rest will take care of itself.

229 pages too long.
Two paragraphs: 1) Allow purchase of health insurance across state lines. 2) Tort Reform: Loser Pays

Make it illegal to bring class action lawsuits. Only the injured party can bring a lawsuit. Damages can not surpass Up to $250,000 or what a person might lose in wages during his lifetime. Loser pays. No longer make it mandatory to pay for new age treatments or cosmetic surgery (these are luxurt items)Viagra or Birth control. We can afford to pay for these ourselves. I think it only costs $20.00 to see a chiropractor.Encourage tax deductable flexible spending accounts. What you don't use belongs to you.

#8, You forgot Item #3 Eliminate fraud. The savings from elimination of fraud would probably cover the additional cost of the bill.

No, poster #9. The least around here a chiropractor gets is 45 dollars. x rays run around 200 dollars and medicare does not pay for them.

That would be great news if the pubs had ripped off the doors to those "private rooms" where they're not welcome and the real decisions are being made. Pubs are always a day late and a million dollars short.

#11 I agree. The costs were more when I used my insurance, However I discovered that my Doctor had a wellness plan that only cost me $20.00 a visit. I stopped using my insurance because my co-pay($25.00)was more for each visit than when I used the wellness plan
