Will the Hajj be an
Incubator for H1N1?

Rihadh, Saudi Arabia - As millions of Muslims begin arriving in Mecca for this year's pilgrimage, Saudi officials face a unique challenge: how to prevent this sacred rite from becoming an inadvertent incubator and global transmitter of swine flu. The conditions that will arise during the pilgrimage, or hajj, which officially begins in the last week of November, are the exact opposite of what health officials like to see. An estimated 2.5 million people from

Comments:
During Ramadan the swine flu hadn't spread as much as today. Now there will be millions of Muslims to whom the word ''sanitation'' has hardly any meaning in close proximity to one another, trying to touch the same space-rock. If a handful get through Saudi screening and are infected it will spread greatly, and especially on the trips home as well.

The overwhelming majority of these hajjis have never been inside an airplane. Saudi Arabia sends the biggest airliners to all muslim countries to ferry them to Mecca. It's done on an allotment basis and eligibility is controlled by the various local imams.

It will be the incubator as usual for hate, murder and mayhem.

Doesn't the Koran make it a capital crime to catch swine flu?

The Hajj, the largest gathering of Muslims, is susceptible to the swine flu. I just can't say that with a straight face! It sounds like something sent by the angel of comedy set-up lines.

Maybe if enough of these idiots get sick and die while on the hajj, they will suddenly realize what a fake and destructive excuse for a religion they have been following all their lives.

It might be a great time for a few Christian missionaries to save a LOT of souls!!!!!!!!!!

Why not? It works wonders for spinal meningitis.

When I was in Saudia Arabia, we were continually reminded of the spread of meningitis during the hajj.

Swine flu at the Hajj? I thought pigs weren't allowed there.

Our central government can only hope.
This non disease is starting to make them look incompetent. Not only is the pandemic not happening, but they can’t come up with the Kool-Aid shots they want everyone to take.
Maybe the Muzzies will bail Al-Bama out on this one, but I would not count on it.

While Polio was close to being wiped out a few stupid imams in Pakistan and Africa were calling the Polio vaccine a plot by the Jews and/or America to either sterilize Muslim girls or give them HIV/AIDS.
While all that was preventing the end of Polio on earth the Saudi's were demanding a proof of Polio vaccination to come on one's Hajj.
I had read that the Saudis are requiring a proof of H1N1 vaccination before pilgrims can come to ''the kingdom'' for Hajj this year.

Maybe someone will yell HINI and the circle panic around the rock will do the job like it does most every year.

Reminds me of an old song, "We'll be hoppin' at the swine-flu hop." What??? Oh, nevermind.

The US should let people leave to attend this pilgramage but not allow them back until next year, if they're alive.
