No, this was a 28-minute harangue by Mr. GD America on the virtues of socialism (and incidentally himself). Five minutes was all I could take. The occasion was the 50th anniv. of the Monthly Review, a socialist rag.

Event took place at the New School. Enough said.

Incidentally Mr. GD America sets up a dichotomy between Communism and Christianity, noting oh-so-slyly that "America is a Christian country, isn't it?"

This guy must have slept through logic class.

The fusion of black nationalism/Marxism isn't anything new; it has always satisfied some egotistical need on the part of willing dupes and makes self-styled leaders rich and famous. That philosophy hasn't done the first thing for the regular black hoi polloi who get their groove on at the "Amen Corner." "Death to America" wishes is death to everyone in America; they don't get it?

The funny thing is Obama got Wright's church some money under faith based and all of a sudden Wright had a nice new big house in the suburbs.He's another one of the capitalism hypocrites like Micheal Moore.He preaches to people about staying out of the middle class,in other words live off the largess someone else is producing.of course his church members are open to communism,in fact many have been living under it since they were born.Living off the state is communism.

I'll bet this moron teaches that Jesus was black! Hard to square with the requirement that the Savior be Jewish but, hey, it fills the offering plates every Sunday...

Anyone who dismisses the Wright issue as 'guilt by association,' ask yourself this -- would you, and the mainstream press, dismiss it if Bush had attended a church for 20 years of a radical right, anti-abortion bombthrowing preacher? #11, Soros certainly is a capitalist by profession. By inclination, he is a Communist using the capitalist system to overthrow capitalism. Soros has amassed billions to fund anti-capitalist movements.

What Soros wants is to use his considerable bucks to place himself at the helm by manipulating currencies and buying off people and governments. He is a Communist at heart planning a takeover using Obama's Administration. Soros wants the world. You can't do that if you're broke.

During the campaign, when Juan Williams asked the panel 'Are you saying Ø supports infanticide?' the panel backed down when they should have said ABSOLUTELY. Then when Juan suggested that you cant fault Ø with 'Guilt by Association' they should have said 'Birds of a feather, flock together' or 'You are known by the friends you keep.' But again, they backed down. The media FAILED huge in 2008 by taking sides and mocking any opposition.

This video with Wright and McChesney is scary enough by itself but the impact people like these radicals are making on the youngest generation is what is frightening. The thought that 66% of those under 30 voted for the "empty suit" in the Oval Office and a majority of them support the Health Care monstrosity does not bode well for the future of this country.

I recommend another write-up on the new articles, "A Generation of Sociopaths" by Mike Adams. This provides personal testimony of what a monster we have created in this young generation by not paying attention to what they were being taught in the schools when they were growing up (Thank you, Bill Ayers and crew).

I take consolation in the fact that the youngsters manning the front lines of freedom in the battle against Muslim terror (apparently the remaining one third of those under 30)will be able to take the lessons they have learned in Iraq and Afghanistan and save us from ourselves. These are the Americans radicals like Wright and McChesney have been unable to influence. These are the "hard" men and women who know "Freedom is not Free". Jeremiah, you will meet your match.

I guess Obama deserves some kind of credit for enduring the rantings of a complete lunatic for 22 years.

While this particular video may not have been around in 2008, equally damning ones were. I don't need to watch it to know the content. None of this got any attention other than when the heat got too much and Obama had to make one of this "throw this guy under the bus" speeches, which was lauded by the popular news media as some sort of historic moment.

We have to accept the fact that we have a Marxist in the White House. The only way Marxism works is through totalitarianism, which although not here yet, we can see it from here.

African liberation theology (and any other ''liberation'' theology) has always been nothing but a front for Marxist communism. It was invented in S and C America as a way of gaining new recruits without telling them they were being indoctrinated into communism. The Catholic and other churches which were used as fronts should have immediately removed and excommunicated any priests that used this evil technique.

Pathetic name dropping ad nauseum. And his delivery is dismissive - like he's put out to have to read his own speech. Note how, with his inflection, he ends sentences one or two words too soon - repeatedly. He isn't really thinking about what he is saying - just reading and going through the motions. Like Steve Marin hosting SNL, he's totally "phoning it in".

I find his repeated mantra that socialism trates the poor as "people" to be the epitome of hypocricy. The foundation of Marxism is the reduction of human beings to units of economic value. And the answer to his question "Why ARE there homeless people?" is ""Because YOU keep them homeless, poor and ignorant, you race baiting, money-grubbing demon." This man is truly evil, doing the work of the Enemy with glee.

Shocking. I believe I'm becoming slightly disillusioned with the Obama administration.

Does anyone believe it's a coincidence that the Reverend Wright preaches his sermons of hatred and American damnation in the same city, Chicago, that is also the murder capital of America? And in the most murderous area of Chicago, the South Side?

You'd think that Barack and Michelle Obama would have figured out long ago what a malignant influence the Reverend Wright has exerted on Chicago's destructive culture, particularly on the minds of its children. Yet the Obamas exposed their own daughters to the Reverend's hate-filled madness every week.

But there is reason for hope. The vast majority of Americans do not want to live in a corrupt, crime-infested, destructive community like Chicago, which is why every other community in America has a lower murder rate. As Obama and Company's project of transforming Washington into Chicago on the Potomac becomes increasingly apparent, The Won's ratings will increasingly decline.

This is such a mean racist country. Poor Rev. Wright is forced to live in a 10,000 sq. foot mansion in a white gated communtiy on a golf course.

Re #59 and the Obamas' exposing their daughters to Wright: Wright officiated at the Obamas' wedding, and baptized their daughters, so it is little wonder they exposed their kids to his sermons.

The "guilt by association" argument is completely false for two simple reasons:

1. Obama and the Dems do this all the time, and falsely, when they pretend that conservatives are somehow aligned with Timothy McVeigh and Lee Harvey Oswald.

2. Obama demanded the voters play "virtue by association" when he invited us to look at who he takes counsel from. We have found many of those people to be Marxists and racists, and by that association we were asked by Obama himself to make, we also judge him to be so.

Actually, if you really know your religious history, Marxism and Socialism are a statist version sans temperance of original christian philosophy, but without God, mercy, or compassion.

Does anyone really think religious charlatans like Wright, Sharpton, Jackson et al have anything to do with christianity any more? (Cf. Lewis, Sinclair (1926: Elmer Gantry: Harcourt Press); also Swaggart, James; Baker, James and so on.

Christianity is based on a freely chosen belief in brotherhood with your fellow man and something greater than the material world.

In response to a poster back up the list, I do not believe Obama has even been a Christian. I recall once a few months ago when he was asked about his "Christian" beliefs, he fumbled and stumbled (no teleprompter) a really disconnected response about supposedly believing in Jesus Christ, etc. It was obviously a very uncomfortable and strange concept for him to discuss. (He must have forgotten his lines or something). And, of course, we should all be aware of his twice stumbling on TV interviews about his Muslim beliefs. On one of them, George Stephanopoulos had to ask him if he actually meant "Christian" beliefs. Obama awkwardly agreed. Phoney to the core. I am not judging Obama as to whether he is actually a Christian or not; my observation is a suspicious supposition based on what I've observed. Only God knows for sure. I love the statement #44 included on his/her posting from Marcus Cicero. I've heard it before, but it sure bears repeating. #63, part 2: I don't believe they ever did! #68: I beg to differ with you. The basis of Christianity is a belief in and acceptance of Jesus Christ.

I think Middle America has gotten the word and voted their anger with the useless Øbama and crew on Tuesday, Nov 3. The Rev. Wright is a disgusting hypocrite. Reading speeches crowing that America is the land of greed and the home of the slaves. That bozo Wright made his fortune speaking trash like this about the country we love and gets to retire to a million-dollar mansion in a white, gated community I might add. Talk about greed.
