DOGTON ABBEY SAVED BY CAT
When Fafoon, the famously kidnapped ransom raising cat was
returned last year after saving the Beast´s web site, she
was already a world famous feline. Myra La Vine became her
press agent. There was Oprah, Vegas, meowing gigs (voice
over for Meow-Mix) an all-animal Broadway show. (No, not CATS).
Upon hearing her mentor´s family was in trouble she offered
her furry fortune to make up for what loyal Ldotters did not
have time to offer and the deed was done. The picture you see
here is the celebration of Lady Esme´s wedding to the local
mailman who, without Fafoon´s generosity would not have happened..
He does not work on Saturdays. It´s a class thing.

Cleveland- Yes, Donald Trump is crazy. And, yes, the Republican party owns his insanity. Fewer than twelve hours after Republicans rallied in support of his nomination for the presidency, Trump once again implied that Rafael Cruz, Ted Cruz’s father, was involved in the JFK assassination. At a press availability during an event to thank campaign volunteers Friday morning, Trump revived suggestions that the elder Cruz was an associate of Lee Harvey Oswald, Kennedy´s assassin, and that they two were together months before the assassination. "I don´t know his father. I met him once. I think he´s a lovely guy. I

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump used his remarks to campaign staffers and volunteers Friday to revive conspiracy theories linking Ted Cruz’s father with Lee Harvey Oswald, the man who killed President John F. Kennedy. “I don’t know his father. I met him once. I think he’s a lovely guy,” Trump said the day after accepting the presidential nomination in Cleveland. “All I did is point out the fact that on the cover of the National Enquirer there was a picture of him and crazy Lee Harvey Oswald having breakfast.” In May, the National Enquirer published a story claiming that Rafael

After Megyn Kelly was slammed for donning a spaghetti-strapped dress during the Republican National Convention on Wednesday, it appears she opted for a more modest outfit Thursday night. While covering the fourth and final night of the GOP convention in Cleveland, Ohio tonight, the Fox News star was seen wearing a more formal black dress featuring an asymmetrical neckline. The shoulder straps were noticeably thicker than the ones seen on last night´s form-fitting dress, with one strap featuring a cut-out, baring part of her left shoulder, while the other featured an overlay of white fabric. Her more modest look comes on the

Trump Would Fund Super-PACs

Donald Trump plans to create and fund super-PACs specifically aimed at ending the political careers of Ted Cruz and John Kasich should either run for office again, after both snubbed the Republican nominee during his party´s convention this week, a source familiar with Trump’s thinking told Bloomberg Politics on Friday. The plan would involve Trump investing millions of his own money --perhaps $20 million or more -- in one or two outside groups about six months before their respective election days if Texas Senator Cruz or Ohio Governor Kasich stand for office again. The source said Trump is willing to

Some progressives and former backers of Bernie Sanders´ presidential candidacy started signaling their dissatisfaction with the choice of Sen. Tim Kaine as Hillary Clinton´s running mate before it was even announced on Friday night. Already suspicious of Clinton’s commitment to liberal policies, they were closely watching her decision on the vice presidency, wary for any sign that she may be drifting back to the political center as she prepares for the general election. Choosing Kaine would be “greeted by many as confirmation that she intends to run away from, if not betray, the progressive base of the

BERLIN - A gunman opened fire at a busy shopping mall in Munich on Friday evening, killing nine people and injuring 20 others in what police were investigating as a possible act of terrorism. Police sealed off parts of the city, Germany’s third-largest, for hours and pleaded with its 1.4 million residents to remain indoors as they attempted to determine who was responsible for the attack. The transit system was shut down, sirens wailed and helicopters clattered overhead as local authorities declared a state of emergency. Witnesses reported seeing as many as three shooters in and around the Olympia shopping

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — During the primaries, Donald Trump threw red-meat rhetoric to supporters, pledging to build a wall on the Mexico border and to ban Muslim immigrants. He even told at least one crowd that he wanted to punch a demonstrator who disrupted an event. Now that he´s the GOP presidential nominee, who needs to appeal to the whole country, some observers say he´s turning to tried-and-true code words to gin up racial animosity and fear among America´s white voters. Trump "didn´t get on stage and issue a bunch of racial epithets," said Emory University political scientist Andra Gillespie, who watched his

DONALD J. TRUMP, until now a Republican problem, this week became a challenge the nation must confront and overcome. The real estate tycoon is uniquely unqualified to serve as president, in experience and temperament. He is mounting a campaign of snarl and sneer, not substance. To the extent he has views, they are wrong in their diagnosis of America’s problems and dangerous in their proposed solutions. Mr. Trump’s politics of denigration and division could strain the bonds that have held a diverse nation together.

As news reports of a gun massacre in Munich crossed the Atlantic Ocean on Friday, the President of the United States was cracking jokes. Barack Obama delivered a brief update to reporters at the White House about the still-unfolding shooting rampage that left the German city on lockdown. Eight are confirmed dead, and 10 injured. The president was speaking to law enforcement agents at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, adjacent to the White House. But as cameras rolled on the somber moment, Obama grinned and chuckled – and drew laughs from his audience – about his elder daughter Malia leaving

Washington- The deeply pessimistic outlook that Donald Trump offered at this week´s Republican National Convention doesn´t match reality, President Barack Obama insisted on Friday. Noting he didn´t watch Trump´s primetime acceptance speech on Thursday -- "I´ve got a lot of stuff to do," he noted -- Obama said he read news coverage of the remarks. And he said they didn´t match most Americans´ experiences. "This idea that America is somehow on the verge of collapse, this vision of violence and chaos everywhere, doesn´t really jibe with the experience of most people," Obama said during a press conference in the White

President Obama spoke in strong support of Muslim Americans, who he said ´enrich our lives every single day´, during the first ever Eid celebration at the White House on Thursday. Obama broke from the tradition of hosting the annual Iftar dinner, an evening meal during Ramadan where Muslims break their daily fast, to celebrate the conclusion of the Islamic holy month instead. More than 100 Muslim Americans attended the event celebrating the holiday, including Muhammad Ali´s wife Lonnie and six of their children. Obama began his remarks by paying tribute to the Greatest, who passed during Ramadan. ´As proud of

Donald Trump was out for revenge Friday morning against Senator Ted Cruz, R-Texas (A, 97%) for the speech Cruz gave Wednesday at the Republican Convention in which he did not directly endorse Trump for president. At one moment in a press conference, Trump specifically took issue with an “added” sentence in the Senator’s speech. “I knew his speech, they gave me his speech, I saw exactly what his speech was,” Trump said. “Well he got up, and in the first two sentences he added a sentence.” [snip] So what was that “nasty” added line in the “first two sentences?”
