Republican presidential nominee Donald J. Trump spoke to Mark Halperin, a host of The Circus, about his reflections on the Republican National Convention that ended Thursday in Cleveland, including the controversy surrounding the speech delivered by his rival, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX). “In retrospect, I wish I would have waited another minute. Because he was being booed right off the stage,” Trump said aboard his private jetliner Friday heading back to New York City with Halperin, who hosts Showtime’s The Circus with John Heilemann and Mark Mckinnon. Cruz, like other candidates who ran against Trump, was offered a speaking slot at the convention, but the Texas senator

PHILADELPHIA — Advisors to Hillary Clinton are worried that Democratic white men are lying to pollsters and secretly plan to vote for Republican Donald Trump. "I worry that there is a bit of a secret Trump vote," said influential pollster Celinda Lake. She has proof revealed in polls that find more white male support when live people are doing the interviewing and less support for Clinton in anonymous online surveys. "The pattern is in the online surveys, even if you control for demographics, Trump does three to nine points better than in telephone surveys. So it really does suggest that

The documents were released just days before the Democratic Convention in Philadelphia. The hacked emails revealed the DNC’s hatred for Bernie Sanders and his movement. The documents reveal the party’s hidden ties with the liberal media. The emails reveal the heights of dishonesty the party will go to to take down Donald Trump. Now there is a list of a few of the most shocking emails released by Wikileaks. The list was compiled thanks to the work of Reddit Bernie Sander

Just as his second term is winding down, President Obama says he really has hit his stride in office. In an interview broadcast Sunday, the president painted an optimistic picture about the state of the country, saying his team is “operating at peak level.” “I feel as if I’m a better president than I’ve ever been,” Mr. Obama said on CBS’s “Face the Nation.” “That the experience has made me sharper, clearer about how to get stuff done.” He also said the recent terrorist attacks — such as the one Friday in Munich, Germany, in which nine were killed and

JANESVILLE, WI– American mothers, whose children were killed by illegal aliens, say that House Speaker Paul Ryan and members of his security detail fled from his guarded estate on Saturday as they attempted to present Ryan with the photos of their murdered children, and show him the true cost of his open borders agenda. On Saturday, four “angel moms” held a press conference in front of Ryan’s personal border wall. The mothers explained that they deserved to be able to give heir children the same security that Ryan gives his children. During the press event, the mothers announced their decision

Democratic National Committee documents recently released by WikiLeaks include spreadsheets and emails that appear to show party officials planning which donors and prominent fundraisers to provide with appointments to federal boards and commissions. The documents, which were circulated among top DNC officials in April, could raise legal questions for the party, says Ken Boehm, (Snip) “The disclosed DNC emails sure look like the potential Clinton Administration has intertwined the appointments to federal government boards and commissions with the political and fund raising operations of the Democratic Party,” Boehm told The Daily Caller. “That is unethical, if not illegal.”

Of all the characters in the political drama of Hillary Clinton’s private email server, none has been more mysterious—and potentially more important—than a 40-year old technology specialist named Bryan Pagliano. Pagliano didn’t just set up the now infamous “homebrew” server in the basement of Clinton’s New York home, which she used for official business while serving as Secretary of State. Pagliano has been the former secretary’s go-to IT guy for the past several years. He’s also the only person in the entire investigation of Clinton’s email who got an immunity deal, protecting him from possible criminal prosecution.

Retired Marine Gen. John Allen has endorsed Hillary Clinton, the presumptive Democratic nominee´s campaign announced Monday. Allen, a four-star general who led coalition forces in Afghanistan, acknowledged the endorsement as a "very personal decision." (Snip) "It requires patience and a deep comprehension of the international landscape to make smart decisions about when and how to use military force as well as an understanding that other tools of American power such as diplomacy and development aid - that will [keep] armed forces out of harm´s way unless it is absolutely necessary. The Democrats got an unfriendly welcome the day before their convention. It looks like Wikileaks did it again: The DNC, which is chaired by Florida Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, has acknowledged that their systems were infiltrated. The party has not commented on specific information released through the hack. According to Wikileaks, which is operated by Julian Assange, the release is “part one” of a new series it is calling “Hillary Leaks.” The emails come from the accounts of seven DNC officials: communications director Luis Miranda, national finance director Jordon Kaplan, finance chief of staff Scott Comer, finance director of data and strategic initiatives

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has brushed aside accusations that Moscow was behind the hacking of Democratic Party emails. He denied the Kremlin´s involvement in the scandal, as Wikileaks founder Julian Assange insisted that the release of the messages was a ´diversion´ being pushed by Hillary Clinton. The latest twists in the saga come just 24 hours after Democratic National Committee chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz announced she was resigning after the convention. Lavrov said in English: ´I don´t want to use four-letter words,´ when asked if Vladimir Putin or anyone in the Russian government was to blame. He was speaking

(Video) During MSNBC’s coverage of the Democratic National Convention on Monday, NBC’s “Meet the Press” host Chuck Todd said that the convention is “a mess” and worse than the RNC was on the first day. Todd said of the DNC, “[T]his is a mess. This is messier — I was in Cleveland, first day. As messy as that looked, this is worse right now. I’m just telling you, it looks worse.”

The bounce is back. Donald Trump comes out of his convention ahead of Hillary Clinton in the race for the White House, topping her 44% to 39% in a four-way matchup including Gary Johnson (9%) and Jill Stein (3%) and by three points in a two-way head-to-head, 48% to 45%. That latter finding represents a 6-point convention bounce for Trump, which are traditionally measured in two-way matchups. There hasn´t been a significant post-convention bounce in CNN´s polling since 2000. That year Al Gore and George W. Bush both boosted their numbers by an identical 8 points post-convention before ultimately battling all
