New York City officials tonight issued a desperate appeal for calm after revealing that a Harlem resident has been diagnosed with Ebola. Infected doctor Craig Spencer, 33, rode three subways, went for a jog, ate out, went bowling, and rode in an Uber cab the day before he tested positive for the deadly virus. However, Mayor Bill de Blasio addressed the city tonight to insist that the probability of any subway users becoming infected is ´close to nil´. He revealed the CDC has been working with the city´s health workers for weeks for fear of an outbreak, and a back-up

From the beginning America has worked to avoid the tyranny of the monarchy; our forefathers saw up close and personal the disastrous effects of a king gone bad. George III (1738 to 1820) reigned for almost 60 years -- which would have been bad enough without the fact that for the last 10 or those years George was stark raving mad. We’re only 6 years into a presidency gone bad and I, for one, am profoundly thankful that there won’t be another 50+ years of this terrifying laughingstock of a regime. Barack Obama has created so much havoc with his ideology

A 911 call went out Saturday in Ferguson, Missouri where Michael Brown’s mother Lesley McSpadden was allegedly involved in a violent brawl with her dead son’s grandmother and cousin. According to a Fox affiliate, the fight started a few blocks from the street where Brown was shot and killed on August 9. The altercation allegedly ensued from a dispute about who had the right to sell Mike Brown merchandise. Police sources tell us Brown`s Grandmother, Pearlie Gordon, along with Brown`s Cousin Tony Petty, were selling t-shirts and other Michael Brown merchandise. A police report describes a car pulling up and

Ferguson, Mo., police officer Darren Wilson and Michael Brown fought for control of the officer’s gun, and Wilson fatally shot the unarmed teenager after he moved toward the officer as they faced off in the street, according to interviews, news accounts and the full report of the St. Louis County autopsy of Brown’s body. Because Wilson is white and Brown was black, the case has ignited intense debate over how police interact with African American men. But more than a half-dozen unnamed black witnesses have provided testimony to a St. Louis County grand jury that largely supports Wilson’s account of events

Rush Limbaugh believes that Democrats aren’t as popular as they might seem, so why they keep holding power struck him as confusing. But in reaction to a report about possible voter fraud in Cook County, Limbaugh suspected that––voter fraud––must be a big reason for them continuing to win. Limbaugh cited polls, as well as less-than-impressive book sales for Hillary Clinton and Andrew Cuomo‘s recent books, to say Democrats aren’t as popular as the media might build them up to be. Of the left in general, Limbaugh said, “They don’t have any audience on their cable news shows. They’re not these

AUSTIN, Texas -- On Thursday, a federal judge in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia entered an order dismissing a lawsuit filed by True the Vote, a Houston, Texas-based non-profit organization focused on "voters’ rights and election integrity" against the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). The order alleged that the IRS had improperly delayed granting their application for 501(c)(3) status and targeted them as a conservative organization. The opinion, by Judge Reggie B. Walton, found that the IRS had taken sufficient "remedial steps to address the alleged behavior."

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — More than 3,100 students — nearly half of them athletes — enrolled in classes they didn’t have to show up for and received artificially inflated grades in what an investigator called a “shadow curriculum” that lasted nearly two decades at the University of North Carolina. (snip) Instead, findings of a systemic problem in the former African and Afro-American studies department could lead to NCAA sanctions and possible dismissal of additional UNC staff. “I think it’s very clear that this is an academic, an athletic and a university problem,” Chancellor Carol Folt said. The report outlined courses

Speaking for the first time since a gunman attacked parliament earlier today, Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper called the week’s multiple assaults “a grim reminder that Canada is not immune to the types of terrorist attacks we have seen elsewhere around the world.” Cpl. Nathan Cirillo, 24, a reservist serving in the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, was shot and killed while guarding the National War Memorial in Ottawa. Minutes later, a gunman opened fire inside the halls of parliament before he was shot to death by House of Commons Sergeant-at-Arms Kevin Vicker. The CBC reported that police confirmed a photo

The city known as America’s story factory is making up Census data. In the latest allegation of The Post’s exclusive probe into fishy goings-on at the Census Bureau, a new whistleblower says workers in the Los Angeles region have been manipulating economic data. Contact information for the veteran Census worker — who reached out to me by e-mail recently and whom I interviewed by phone — has been turned over to congressional investigators who are looking into data falsification in other parts of the country. “Everybody knows falsification is going on,” the whistleblower told me, adding the malfeasance in the

MIAMI — Black voters’ disappointment with President Barack Obama, who they so eagerly embraced for so many years, could be costly on Election Day to Democrats, who badly need a big African-American turnout to win Senate and gubernatorial races in key states. Instead, many African-Americans see an unemployment rate well above the national average, continuing problems with crime in many neighborhoods, and a president more interested in trying to help other voting blocs that didn’t give him such unwavering support. Nicolle Wallace, former Communications Director for President George W. Bush and current co-host of the View, appeared on the syndicated show Wendy Wednesday afternoon to talk about her new gig as well as her career in Republican politics. During the interview, Wallace, who spends much of her time criticizing her fellow Republicans, endorsed the idea of Hillary Clinton running for president in 2016. The former Bush staffer declared that she was a “huge fan of the idea of a Hillary Clinton candidacy.” (Video) The self-described Republican continued to promote a potential Hillary run for the White House: Anything can happen
