Megyn Kelly’s ‘too-cute-by-half‘ snarky and condescending schtick finally brought Newt Gingrich to the point where he gives it back to her. It is remarkable it took this long before someone finally called her out: (Video)Ms. Kelly’s world is, and has been, crumbling for well over a year. Her life’s “professional mentor and personal role model” (her words), Roger Ailes, exited Fox News under a cloud of sexual impropriety. Given the backdrop of her pearl clutching protestations to Newt Gingrich, there’s a profound irony..
Former Secretary of State Colin Powell plans to vote for Hillary Clinton, his staff confirmed on Tuesday. Powell´s announcement, which came at a Long Island Association luncheon, is the latest example of Republicans who are ditching their own party’s nominee. But his move isn´t a complete surprise: Powell, a retired four-star general who served as secretary of state under President George W. Bush, endorsed Barack Obama in 2008 and 2012. He recently engaged in a public spat with Clinton over her email habits -- denying that he had advised her to set up a private server.
Newt Gingrich faced off with Megyn Kelly tonight and completely lost it. Gingrich, who most frequently appears in Fox primetime with Sean Hannity, seemed to be very, very thrown by actually being challenged on Donald Trump being behind in the polls. Kelly very persistently pressed Gingrich on the fact that all the polls show Trump is behind. Gingrich pointed to certain states where Trump’s doing well and said the pollsters have an agenda. (Snip) But it was when Kelly said people have a right to hear these allegations of Trump being a “sexual predator” that caused Gingrich to explode: “I’m sick and
Mr. James Comey, Director, Federal Bureau of Investigation, J. Edgar Hoover Building, 935 Pennsylvania Avenue N.W,Washington, D.C. 20535-0001 -Sir, I am writing regarding your public statement in July, 2016 informing the American people that the FBI investigation of Hillary Clinton was being closed without referring it to a Federal Grand Jury or the Attorney General of the U. S. for a decision whether or not to indict her. Strangely, you eloquently laid out enough of the evidence deduced from the investigation to strongly indicate there was abundant evidence uncovered during the investigation and interview of her to not only indict but
A White House aide has failed to deny rumors President Barack Obama is planning to leave the United States if Donald Trump wins the election. White House press secretary Josh Earnest was asked whether Obama was planning to flee abroad if Trump, a man he has said is unfit to hold the office, is elected president. In response, Earnest would only say that Obama was campaigning to ensure that no one would have to leave America because of a Donald Trump presidency. The rumor mill first started when Canadian satire site The Burrard Street Journal carried an article saying that
NEW YORK — Hillary Clinton appears on the cusp of a potentially commanding victory over Donald Trump, fueled by solid Democratic turnout in early voting, massive operational advantages and increasing enthusiasm among her supporters. A new Associated Press-GfK poll released Wednesday finds the Democratic nominee has grabbed significant advantages over her Republican rival with just 12 days left before Election Day. Among them: consolidating the support of her party and even winning some Republicans. "I´m going to pick Hillary at the top and pick Republican straight down the line," said poll respondent William Goldstein, a 71-year-old from Long Island, New
Conservative Washington Post columnist Jennifer Rubin has been pretty tough in her columns about the conservatives in the media who have gone soft on Donald Trump. That culminated in an amazing segment with Bill O’Reilly tonight. See, O’Reilly was upset about literally this one line in something she wrote weeks ago: “Trump should do interviews with real news people, not Sean Hannity and Bill O’Reilly, in preparation for the debates. He’s otherwise in for a rude awakening when someone asks a real question.” O’Reilly objected to this tonight, but Rubin responded, “My criticism is really that you actually are in
Andrew Breitbart, often described as a "happy warrior" for the conservative cause, now spins in his grave. The website he founded, which still bears his name, has been corrupted into a tool of anti-governing insurgency. Its mission: destroy the Republican Party by any means necessary. This much has appeared obvious to many for months, but has now been greatly substantiated. Breitbart.com was willing to go to any length to undermine the party, even colluding with a clandestine Democrat operative whose goals aligned with their own. From Politico: A liberal activist and organizer coordinated with reporters from the conservative news site Breitbart
Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio was officially charged Tuesday with criminal contempt of court when a federal judge affixed her signature, a formality that throws the lawman’s political and personal future into a level of crisis never before seen in his 23 years in office. Criminal-contempt charges have loomed over Arpaio since 2015. A criminal trial was the worst-case scenario for the sheriff after he admitted to violating a federal judge’s order to stop enforcing civil immigration laws. U.S. District Court Judge Susan Bolton´s order was signed two weeks before the general election, in which Arpaio is running for his
Mexican police have discovered a massive drug-smuggling tunnel 23 feet underground, leading from a building in the border city of Tijuana into the United States. The 563-yard tunnel, which even had its own ventilation and lighting, was also fitted with rails that could be used to push cartloads of drugs through the three-foot-wide, four-foot-high hole to San Diego on the other side. The discovery of the tunnel, which was attached to a house containing huge amounts of drugs, was made on Thursday, and confirmed Monday by the Mexican Attorney General´s Office. (Photo) The tunnel´s entrance was located in La Hielera
A cheerful Megyn Kelly was photographed heading out of her apartment and into a waiting car on her way in to work on Wednesday afternoon. The popular host of The Kelly File is set to tape her first show since Newt Gingrich attacked her on Tuesday night´s program, shouting at one point that Kelly was ´fascinated with sex.´ Also seen leaving the apartment on Wednesday was Kelly´s husband, novelist Douglas Brunt. Kelly was later seen arriving at Fox News headquarters, where she was quickly escorted inside by security. Hours earlier, Donald Trump very publicly showed his support for Gingrich while
A slew of vicious, “flash mob”-style attacks at Temple University left at least six students beaten and bloodied over the weekend, along with a cop and a police horse. More than 150 teens, spread out in groups of 20 or 30, descended upon the campus at around 8:30 p.m. Friday — wreaking havoc for nearly two hours before eventually dispersing, according to NBC 10. Temple spokesman Ray Betzner told the television station that the mob had been playing a “cat-and-mouse game” with officers throughout the night as they assaulted people who were walking around campus.
