The Bethlehem-based news agency Ma’an has cited a Kuwaiti newspaper report Saturday, that US President Barack Obama thwarted an Israeli military attack against Iran´s nuclear facilities in 2014 by threatening to shoot down Israeli jets before they could reach their targets in Iran. Following Obama´s threat, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu was reportedly forced to abort the planned Iran attack. According to Al-Jarida, the Netanyahu government took the decision to strike Iran some time in 2014 soon after Israel had discovered the United States and Iran had been involved in secret talks over Iran’s nuclear

Why Obama Order to Shoot Down
Israeli Jets Most Likely Untrue

While anything is possible in the ongoing struggle between the Obama administration and the state of Israel, a high-level military source told PJ Media that the allegation Obama warned Israel that if the Israeli air force attacked Iran nuclear installations, US jets would shoot down the Israelis is not likely. An Israeli attack was supposedly imminent. More likely the report, which emerged from Kuwait, is disinformation timed to discredit Prime Minister Netanyahu and make him seem a warmonger in advance of his address to Congress Tuesday. The source stated that, since 2008, it was no longer possible for the US

(Video) House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, said the White House has "attacked" him and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over the Netanyahu´s planned address to Congress Tuesday in which he is expected to criticize international negotiations over Iran´s nuclear program. "The demand for seats in the House, the demand for tickets, I´ve never seen anything like it. Everybody wants to be there," Boehner said. "What I do wonder is why the White House feels threatened because the Congress wants to support Israel and wants to hear what a trusted ally has to say. It has been, frankly, remarkable to me,

Republican Congressman Peter King said today that he’s incredibly frustrated with the “self-righteous, delusional” wing of his party that may shut down the Department of Homeland Security because they’re “obsessed” with stopping President Obama‘s immigration action. King appeared on MSNBC’s online platform Shift to tell Luke Russert that while he also has serious problems with the immigration action too, the GOP shouldn’t be playing politics on a life-or-death issue like this. King said (hours earlier, before the initial failed House vote tonight on DHS funding) conservatives are fighting a losing battle and “putting people’s lives at risk” for an issue

A popular theme on Planet Clinton is that poor Hillary is always in mortal danger of being undone by her charming cad of a hubby. “She can’t control him” is how insiders express their fear that Bubba will have a bimbo eruption and crash the coronation. On a long list of possibilities, that scenario must be included. But my reading of the Clinton Chronicles points to a much bigger threat to the restoration of the family monarchy. That would be the stumbling performance of the lady herself. On top of the tactical blunders, there was an overarching reason why sure victory eluded Hillary

CHAPPAQUA, N.Y.- This well-heeled hamlet north of New York City is embroiled in an increasingly nasty debate that seems oddly out of place amid the stately homes and tony boutiques: What should be done about coyotes? Self-styled coyote spotters in and around Chappaqua have counted 160 incursions into backyards and streets over the last two years and at least 10 recent attacks on pets. That´s been enough to stir animal passions among residents over the question of when and if a coyote deserves to be killed. Predictable does not begin to explain what began today. Write down the date, it’s almost as significant as May 11th 2014 . Chris Wallace had the last two weeks off. He returns today, March 1st, carrying a remarkable reinvigoration for the progressive ideology. Governor Scott Walker has become the primary roadblock to Rupert Murdoch’s chosen candidate, Jeb Bush. And Walker just finished 2nd to Rand Paul in the CPAC straw poll….Toward that end, Walker must be removed; subtly, so as not to openly isolate the audience (revenue stream) for FOX News. Washington - After narrowly surviving a bitter constitutional showdown in 2010, President Obama’s Affordable Care Act is once again in serious peril as the US Supreme Court prepares this week to take up a new legal challenge that threatens to gut Obamacare. A decision in favor of the challengers could block tax credits and render health insurance unaffordable for more than 7 million of the 11 million Americans who have signed up for coverage on healthcare exchanges. That, in turn, might plunge the president’s health care reform effort into a death spiral, according to economists.

After his riveting address at Saturday’s Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), Mark Levin declared on Breitbart News Saturday that conservatives will never defeat Democrats without first defeating the Republican establishment. The conservative icon, scholar, and talk radio host earlier told CPAC attendees that, “we’re here today because we are losing our republic and we’re the Sunshine Patriots who seek to restore it.” Levin has urged Republicans to nominate a true conservative in 2016 for the first time since Ronald Reagan, and he noted that “in order to get a Reagan we had to defeat the Bushes.” “People need to understand

The woman who accused billionaire Jeffrey Epstein of preying on her was not a sex slave, her former pals told the Daily News. Instead, they said Virginia Roberts was a money-hungry sex kitten, who flashed her cash and enjoyed the finer things in life. Roberts, now 31, not only relished her role as Epstein’s “traveling masseuse” some 15 years ago, she regularly recruited and supplied girls to the freaky financier, her old friends say. “She was like the head b---h,” said Philip Guderyon, who used to hook up with Roberts and drive her to and from Epstein’s mansion in Palm Beach, Fla. “She’d

Earlier today on Sirius XM Urban View, an African-American talk station, the guest was Daryl Scott, president of the Association for the Study of African American Life and History. The conversation turned to STEM — science, technology, engineering, and math — education, and the origins of the ongoing push to encourage institutions and students to focus on those subjects.(Snip) In 1983, the guest explained, a commission empaneled by the secretary of education issued a report titled “A Nation at Risk: The Imperative for Education Reform.” In a memorable phrase, it warned of “a rising tide of mediocrity” in the nation’s public schools. That phrase, he said, was a “euphemism.” A euphemism for what? “For us — for African Americans.”

On Sunday, ABC’s This Week discussed the political fallout from the annual CPAC conference and the entire panel, excluding conservative radio talk show host Laura Ingraham, deemed the conservative gathering politically dangerous for any potential Republican presidential candidate. During the discussion, ABC’s Matthew Dowd claimed that CPAC was so far to the right “[w]hat would happen if Ronald Reagan, with that record, had shown up at this conference? He would have been booed.” (Video) The segment began with NPR’s Cokie Roberts insisting that despite Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker’s impressive showing at
