The reporter Donald Trump claims he´s never seen before says he spent a whole day with the bombastic billionaire while working for the Daily News — and he´s drawn Trump´s ire before. Serge Kovaleski, now a New York Times reporter, said he closely covered Trump´s launch of an airline in 1989."I spent the entire day with Trump, along with some other reporters, on the inaugural voyage of the Trump Shuttle, which Trump bought from Eastern Airlines in the late 1980s," Kovaleski told The News in an email on Friday. “Flying out of La Guardia, we spent a big chunk of

At a campaign rally in Sarasota, Florida today, Donald Trump insisted that he would “never’ mock anyone for their disability, let alone a New York Times reporter. In case you haven’t caught up yet, here’s the basics: Trump said something untrue about Muslims cheering in New Jersey on 9/11, people called him out on it, Trump decided that one paragraph of a report that in no way backs up what he said actually backs up what he said, the reporter of that story confirmed it does not back up what he said, and Trump responded by mercilessly mocking him. And based on

Acknowledging that the motive of the shooter was still unknown, President Obama lashed out at the "easy accessibility of weapons of war on our streets to people who have no business wielding them" in the wake of Friday´s shooting at Planned Parenthood in Colorado Springs. An abortion-rights group, meanwhile, was quick to blame undercover videos discussing brokering of baby parts that were released throughout the year by the Center for Medical Progress. Robert Lewis Dear, 57, is scheduled to appear in court Monday. He killed one police officer, University of Colorado Officer Garrett Swasey, in the shootout, and two civilians

How radical, weird and out of touch have liberals on college campuses gotten since Obama came into office? It’s worse than you ever thought and although there is an almost unlimited number of problematic incidents to choose from, these 15 are particularly effective at getting across how bad things have become. 1) “College Students Say Remembering 9/11 Is Offensive to Muslims.... The everything-is-offensive brand of campus activism has struck a new low: Students at the University of Minnesota killed a proposed moment of silence for 9/11 victims due to concerns—insulting, childish concerns—that Muslim students would be offended.” 2) “Portland State University Offers

Legendary country music artist Willie Nelson told PJM he is a great fan of Democratic presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.). Nelson was in Washington to receive the Gershwin Prize for Popular Song from the Library of Congress. The award ceremony featured performances by Neil Young and Rosanne Cash. Given that the country star has been active in the push to legalize marijuana, PJM asked Nelson which candidate he plans to support in the presidential race. “Well, you know, it’s not over yet. I’m still watching the show but I’m a great Bernie and Hillary fan, you

(Video) After a gunman opened fire at a Colorado Springs Planned Parenthood on Friday, killing three people and injuring several others, President Obama urged the nation to increase controls over "the easy accessibility of weapons of war." "This is not normal," the president said in a statement Saturday. "We can´t let it become normal." "If we truly care about this -- if we´re going to offer up our thoughts and prayers again, for God knows how many times, with a truly clean conscience -- then we have to do something about the easy accessibility of weapons of war on our

Snapped by her adoring mother, the Duchess of Cambridge, this is little Princess Charlotte at six months old. Not seen in public since her christening in July, two photographs of the fourth in line to the throne have today been released by Kensington Palace as a thank you to the British media for giving William and Kate´s children the chance to grow up away from the spotlight. With her thick brunette hair, Charlotte is very much her mother´s daughter, in contrast to her elder brother, Prince George, two, who has inherited his father´s blonde locks. Most Americans believe our country is going on the wrong direction, as shown by the latest polls (NBC/WSJ 64% and USC/LA Times 70%). We are facing the near total transformation promised by President Barack Hussein Obama, one that has taken the USA from an exceptional world power to a lawless corrupt nation and a joke among world leaders. Our national debt is near $20 trillion. About 94 million Americans are out of the labor force. Our borders are not secured while sanctuary cities protect foreign criminals. Our policemen are being demonized. Our Judeo/Christian values are being persecuted and humiliated. Our

To hear Hillary Clinton tell it, she was named for Sir Edmund Hillary, the conqueror of Mount Everest — even though she was already 6 years old when he made his famous ascent. On a visit to war-torn Bosnia in 1996, she claimed she and her entourage landed under sniper fire and had to run “with our heads down to get into the vehicles to get to our base” — although videos of her arrival show her waltzing serenely across the tarmac, waving to the crowd. She blamed the 2012 attack on American diplomatic and intelligence-gathering installations in Benghazi on “a disgusting

THE presidential candidate who has most harmed American politics this year is Donald Trump, a bully who has prospered by inciting rage. Yet from the narrower perspective of the Republican Party, the most dangerous candidate of the 2016 pack may just be Senator Ted Cruz of Texas, who is rising in the polls by telling conservative activists a seductive but misleading story about how their party wins elections. Since launching his presidential run, the 44-year-old Texan has built his campaign around a simple pitch: assuring the most conservative third of the Republican electorate, from born-again Christian voters to hardline members of

A suspected burglar who attempted to enter a California home through the chimney died on Saturday after the homeowner lit a fire without realizing anyone was inside, police said. The man appeared to have climbed into the chimney during the night while the owner was away and then became stuck, according to the Fresno County Sheriff´s Office. After the owner of the home in Huron lit a fire in his fireplace Saturday afternoon, he heard a man yelling inside the chimney as the house filled with smoke, the sheriff´s office said in a statement. The homeowner tried to extinguish the

Many outlets have been saying the Colorado Springs shooter was from Western North Carolina, where I live. Since I have been active in the local prolife community, this bothered me. So I did a little snooping on-line. I found that Dear does own property in Buncombe County (Asheville) though he lists his address on the property records for both parcels as South Carolina. The properties are low end. (snip) One report says Dear listed his occupation as a "self employed art dealer." That´s not usually an occupation for someone with middle or working class roots.
