Alan Krueger, a groundbreaking Princeton University economist who served as a top adviser in two Democratic administrations and was an authority on the labor market, has died after taking his own life, his family said. ´It is with tremendous sadness we share that Professor Alan B. Krueger, beloved husband, father, son, brother, and Princeton professor of economics took his own life over the weekend,´ a statement from his family reads. ´The family requests the time and space to grieve and remember him. ´In lieu of flowers, we encourage those wishing to honor Alan to make a contribution to the charity

#12 is right. No matter how you feel about someone. I had a former colleague who took his own life about 15 months ago, and it apparently was partially related to his job. HIS JOB. I think he´d landed a bit over his head and it stressed him into hopelessness. He wasn´t someone you would have predicted, and it´s haunted me daily at one point or another. He found his peace but left lots of shattered lives and I pray that they find their own peace eventually.

May God have mercy on his troubled soul, and may He comfort the grieving. Suicide is devastating to those left behind, but a soul in pain cannot see beyond the hopelessness. I would never wish such anguish on another human being, no matter their politics or philosophy of life - even if their choices led them into the pit in which they suffer.

I was saved from a suicide attempt, literally by the Hand of God. I have not forgotten the darkness that led me to the edge of a Pacific Ocean cliff, nor the Grace that saved me. It is tragic Alan Krueger lost all knowledge of God´s holy presence.

God have mercy.

He must have been in tremendous pain to ignore the damage that his kind of an act inflicts on everyone around him. I think sometimes that a perpetual smile is a tell, that things are not what they should be behind the mask. I will pray for his family, and loved ones that God gives them the strength to rise above this tragedy.

It cannot be ignored however, that the realization his Economic Philosophy is being proven to be inaccurate by the realities of the marketplace, might have had something to do with this. That realization has to be apparent to others as well, and might explain the double down type response occurring from certain viewpoints.

The stark reality that at your core, everything is false, is quite a moment. I´m just sayin

Bottom line is, he´s no longer in pain. And I guess that´s a good thing... except for all those that he gave that burden to carry for the rest of their lives.

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler confirmed Sunday that Congress will continue to investigate President Donald Trump regardless of the conclusions reached by special counsel Robert Mueller. “We know there was collusion,” Nadler insisted several times during an appearance on CNN’s “State of the Union” with guest host Dana Bash. “Why there’s been no indictments, we don’t know.” Nadler listed the Trump Tower meeting — which has been the subject of numerous false reports — and the way Trump “pressured the FBI to go easy, to stop investigating Flynn,” and Trump firing Comey as evidence of the alleged “collusion.”Bash pointed out

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y., vowed to take the fight over getting special counsel Robert Mueller’s full report released to the public all the way to the Supreme Court. The San Antonio City Council has rejected the inclusion of Chick-fil-A from the new Food, Beverage and Retail Prime Concession Agreement for the San Antonio International Airport. The city has banned the chicken chain from setting up shop in the airport due to the company’s alleged ‘legacy of anti-LGBTQ behavior.’ In a statement, a rep for Chick-fil-A said they would ‘still welcome the opportunity to have a thoughtful dialogue with the city council.’ Wayfarers passing through San Antonio International Airport will be out of luck if they’re craving Chick-fil-A’s crispy chicken or waffle fries, as the city council has banned

In fact, I believe the last two years, as traumatic as they were, will prove to be the easier part of the nightmare, because Mueller dealt only with whether Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign conspired with Russia to swing the election. Based on what we know so far, especially that no more indictments are coming,
